Education is an intentional change of human behaviors. This change is implemented through the learning process of humans. The principles in the learning process and its psychological mechanism are based on learning theories. The objective insight about how they are related with school libraries as a basic organization supporting school education, what they can contribute and what their research methodologies are is a base for educational and academic research of school libraries. This study at first is to investigate learning and teaching theories for school libraries based on behavioral learning theories, cognitive learning theories and constructive learning theories which are general trends for learning theories. Then it is to introduce new theory 'library-based education approach (LBEA)'as an educational base of school libraries.

This study measured whether web-based library user education represent web-based instruction theories in education. 9 criteria used were course-related instruction, collaborative learning, evaluation of tutorials, education of information retrieval, contents tables, multimedia interaction between users and librarians, navigational aids, variation of menus. The result showed that both contents and design of web sites were important for good web-based library user education.

본 연구는 학교도서관 독서 기반 프로젝트 학습에 대한 학생들의 인식을 탐색하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 중학교 사회 교과 연계 독서 기반 프로젝트 학습을 구안하여 실시하고, 이에 지속해서 참여한 학생 여덟 명을 대상으로 심층 면담을 진행하였다. 그 결과 교과연계 독서와 수업 공간으로서의 도서관 등 학교도서관의 프로젝트 학습 전반에 대한 인식을 파악하였다. 이를 바탕으로 학습자의 요구를 반영하여 교과 연계 독서기반 프로젝트 학습의 활성화 방안을 논의하였다.

학교 교육과정에서 도서관 교육은 학습 내용과 학습 방법 측면에서 방법적 지식과 사고 능력으로서의 성격을 갖는다. 즉 새로운 지식의 생산에 필요한 범교과적 학습 능력으로서의 위상을 갖는다. 문제는 이러한 성격이 교과 교육 과정은 물론 학생 일상생활과의 부단한 연계를 통해서 구현된다는 점이다. 즉 학교도서관 교육의 성공을 위해서는 학교 공동체 내에 학교 도서관 중심의 교육 공동체 구성이 필요하다. 학교도서관 정보화와 순회 사서를 포함한 비정규직 자원 봉사자 확산, 다양한 형태의 업무 대행 서비스 그리고 담당교사의 도서관 운영 연수 확대 속에서 자료 조직과 운영의 일부분은 영역 보편성을 띤지 오래되었다. 따라서 학교도서관 중심의 교육 공동체 구성은 도서관 활용수업으로 대표되는 교과의 자원기반학습과의 연계성에 기반을 두고 발전하는 추세이다. 본고에서는 필자가 개발 책임자로 참여하여 2010년 교육과학기술부와 대구광역시교육청이 공동으로 일선 학교에 보급한 사서교사와 교과교사의 협동수업용 장학 자료집의 주요 내용과 활성화 방안을 살펴보고자 한다.

Although people seriously worry that "digital paradox" is a "quiet crisis" to our society as a whole and threatens our future generation, we need to reconsider how we utilize digital media for effective learning as we understand its characteristics and compare the differences among all formats of media that used for learning. The purpose of this study is to suggest and analyze school library media programs as Learning Commons by applying the relevant theories on information, learning, learning with media, and meaningful learning. The study assumes the importance of the school library media programs that manage rich Information in various formats in an educational system. The study provides theoretical grounds and insights to practitioners and researchers in the relevant field as they face the challenges in putting an emphasis of today's school library media programs for student learning in digital age.

The purpose of this study is to propose a design model for school library based instruction under EduTech. EduTech-based education expands learning boundaries and requires new instructional environments and learning experiences for learner-centered deeper learning. Accordingly, this study modified the ADDIE model based on the system theory and presented a four-stage instructional design model (draft) consisting of 'analysis stage, preliminary learning and development stage, learning management stage, and team teaching evaluation stage.' This model reflects elements of flipped learning, the backward design model, and inquiry-based learning to develop of customized student materials and inquiry activities. In addition, the scope of learning was expanded to include prior learning, face-to-face learning, and additional learning to increase the diversity of collaboration and opportunities to utilize school library materials. Also, Several ways for school library based instruction within EduTec were proposed in terms of teacher librarians' expertise, school library space, budget, standard curriculum development, and comprehensive support system for reading education.

The public library is the local centre of information, the gateway to knowledge. Based on these identities, the public libraries should provide a basic condition for lifelong learning, cultural activities, and. information literacy skills of the individual and social groups. The purpose of this paper is to reflect the lifelong learning activities of public libraries and suggest it's directions in Korea. The lifelong learning of public libraries for the future needs to focus on a closer connection with library core competences, supporting information literacy, reducing and bridging the digital divide for individuals with disabilities and the aged.

This study describes a system which makes children use a cooperation study for the education of a library use and applies SDG technology to this cooperation study SDG means a system which is able to do a cooperation work as a multi-inputting device in a computer display. Through the use library utilization education system based on SDG, learners study simultaneously and collaborately. On this thesis. We embodied the understanding of the decimal classification of Korea and the arrangement of a bookshelf and the study of the location tracking as a game style based on an existed study that a cooperation study used SDG is more superior that an individual study used a single device. Librarians through this system will be able to easily and interestingly instruct children for the use of a library.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the values and meanings of university libraries and library catalog in the learning activities of Korean college students. Discussed in details are unique features in their library use behavior and catalog search behavior, and critical factors influencing their behavioral characteristics. A qualitative approach was employed for data collection and analysis. Intensive interviews were conducted with 30 students, also utilized was tight and close observation of their library search behavior. The result of this study is on identifying the underlying reasons why Korean students use their libraries and catalogs in a passive and limited manner.

본 논문에서 구현하고자 하는 에이전트기반 전자도서관 시스템은 웹을 통해 도서정보를 검색하는 사용자들에 대한 도서 정보 관심도를 모니터 에이전트에 의해 추출하게 하고 해당 정보를 대상으로 학습 과정을 거쳐 사용자별 프로파일을 구축할 수 있게 한다. 이 과정에서 모니터 에이전트에서 추출되는 사용자 history와 학습예제 정보는 사용자가 행하는 다양한 작업의 결과 차별화된 중요도가 적용된다. 학습 에이전트를 통해 구축된 사용자 관심 정보는 각 사용자에게 세부 DB 추천 모듈과 관심 정보를 푸쉬해주는 에이전트에 적용된다. 본 시스템에서는 전자 도서관에 가입하는 사용자들의 공통된 그룹 정보를 관리하여 이를 통해 동일 그루내의 사용자들 사이의 정보 이용이 가능하게 하였다. 본 논문에서는 개인과 그룹을 대상으로 하는 모니터 에이전트와 학습 에이전트를 설정하여 도서관을 이용하는 사용자들에게 정확하고 신속한 정보를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
