  • The purpose of this research is to examine precise linear motion and rotary motion. A six-degrees-of-freedom fine motion mechanism is introduced to drive an object precisely in directions of X, Y and Z-axes and around them : three rectangular linear motion and rotary ones. An experimental mechanism is introduced in which a $70$\times$70$\times$70$\times$(${mm}^3$) cube object is driven by six PZT actuator. The study is to establish the six-degrees-of-freedom fine motion mechanism of linear motion and rotary motion using PZT actuator.

  • 본 논문의 수중로봇 도미(Domi) ver1.0는 관상어용 물고기 로봇 개발을 목표로 연구 개발되었다. 물고기 로봇은 머리, 1단, 2단 몸체와 꼬리부분과 2개의 구동 관절로 구성되어 있다. 물고기 로봇의 추력에 적합한 구동부 선정을 위하여 물고기 로봇 모델링과 유영 해석을 통하여 관절 구동부가 설계되었다. 또한 물고기 로봇의 유영알고리즘은 Lighthill 운동학 해석을 기초로 생체 모방의 유영 근사화 방법을 적용하였다. 설계된 물고기는 수동유영 및 자율운영모드로 동작된다. 수동유영모드는 RF 송수신에 의하여 구현된다. 본 설계된 물고기로봇 도미 ver1.0은 수중 현장시험 평가을 통하여 추력, 내구성, 방수성 등의 성능이 우수함을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 이미지에서 사용자가 관심을 갖는 영역(ROI)의 내용을 나타내는 특성값과 영역의 위치를 함께 고려하여 이미지를 검색하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 검색 대상 이미지를 일정 크기의 블록으로 구분한 후 사용자가 선택한 다중 ROI와 가장 근접하는 특성을 가진 블록을 선택한다. 블록의 특성값은 MPEG-7의 도미넌트 컬러 기술자를 사용한다. 사용자가 선택한 블록의 특성값과 함께 블록의 위치를 측정한 후, 검색 대상 이미지의 블록들의 특성값 및 위치와 비교하여 유사도를 측정한다. 본 논문에서는 실험결과 제안한 방법이 전역 이미지 검색이나 동일한 위치의 블록만 비교하는 경우보다 다중 ROI의 내용과 위치를 함께 고려하는 방법이 다른 방법에 비해 우수한 성능을 나타냈다.

Changes of Nucleotides in the Raw Fishes during the Aquarium Storage (수족관 저장기간에 따른 횟감생선의 핵산관련성분 변화)

  • Changes in nucleotide concentrations of aquarium-stored flounder, sea bass, and sea bream were studied. ATP, ADP, and AMP slowly decreased, whereas IMP, HxR and Hx slightly increased with increasing storage ported. ATP was converted into IMP at initial storage stage. Changes in concentrations of nucleotides differed depending on fish type and season. Freshness indicators, $K,\;K_{p}\;G,\;P,\;H,\;and\;F_{r}$ values during 14 days storage showed no significant differences. Changes in nucleotide concentrations during 14 days storage had no significant effect on taste of raw fishes.

Prevalence and Seasonal Abundance of the Dominant Mosquito Species in a Large Marsh near Coast of Ulsan (울산 해안의 습지 주위에 서식하는 주요 모기의 발생 소장)

  • Seasonal fluctuations in density of mosquito species were investigated at two cow sheds near to a large, reedy marsh with fairly polluted brackish water near the coast of Yongam-ri, Cheongryang-myon, Ulsan, Korea. Female mosquitoes were collected biweekly using Nozawa light traps from March to September, from 1999 to 2001. On average, 4,416.1, 5,505.9 and 6,863.8 females per trap night were collected from 10 species in 5 genera in 1999, 2000 and 2001, respectively. Among them, An. sinensis was most abundant (53.4% in species ratio), followed by Cx. tritaeniorhynchus (43.0%), Cx. inatomii (1.6%), Ochlerotatus dorsalis (1.3%) and Cx. pipiens pallens (0.5%). A malaria vector, An. sinensis and a Japanese encephalitis vector, Cx. tritaeniorhynchus were collected 3,663.3 females and 3,142.5 females per trap night from June to September for the years, respectively. According to the biweekly population changes at the area, Cx. inatomii which was dominant species in 1997, was the most abundant in the early July during 1999-2001.

Changes of Physical Characteristics of Cooked Rice by Pressure Cooking (가압취반시(加壓炊飯時) 미반(米飯)의 물성변화(物性變化)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究))

  • This study was carried out in order to provide the basic data necessary to develop the effective and desirable cooking method on large scale for investigating the physical characteristics of cooked rices and studying optimum cooking conditions by pressure in kettle cooking rices. Milyang-15, local Japonica type and Milyang-23, high yielding Indica type major varieties cultivated in Korea were used as cooking sample after polishing 70% and 90% respectively, and the results obtained are summarized as follows. 1. The average moisture content of cooked rice by open kettle and pressure kettle method in typical households were 65.17% and 64.52%, respectively. 2. In water absorption capacity of rice grain Milyang-23 was 4.5% higher than Milyang-15, and maximum water content after absorption in Milyang-23 was 29.14%. 3. The expansion volume of cooked rice was changed proportionally by water absorption, heating temperature and time, and maximum expansion volume of cooked rice was 3.2 times greater than rice grain. 4. The gelatinization degree of cooked rice intensively concerning in hardness of rice grain was increased as water-to-rice ratio, heating temperature and time increased, and it was 0.44 in Milyang-23 and 0.64 in Milyang-15 under the optimum cooking conditions as 160% water-to-rice ratio, $0.2kg/cm^2$ cooking pressure and 25 minutes cooking time. 5. The hardness of cooked rice was decreased as water-to-rice ratio, heating temperature and time increased, and it showed 2.35kg/wt in 90% polished Milyang-23 and 2.0kg/wt in 90 polished Milyang-15 under optimum cooking conditions. For maintaining the same level of hardness of cooking rice Milyang-23 required 25% much more water than Milyang-15. 6. The elasticity of cooked rice was changed proportionally by water-to-rice ratio, heating temperature and time, and it appeared 19.2mm and 15.7mm in 90% polished Milyang-15 and Milyang-23 respectively. 7. The gumminess of cooked rice was decreased as water-to-rice ratio, heating temperature and time increased, and it showed 60 and 73 in 90% polished Milyang-23 and Milyang-15, respectively. 8. The optimum cooking time on differerent pressure in kettle took 25 minutes at $0.2kg/cm^2$, 20 minutes at $0.4kg/cm^2$, 15 minutes at $0.6kg/cm^2$, and 10 minutes at $0.8kg/cm^2$.
