A Study on the GIS Methodologies to Appraise the Parcel Prices and to Estimate the Compensation Expenditures according to Road Expansions. (GIS를 활용한 개별 공시지가 산정 및 도로개설에 따른 토지보상비 산정 방법론)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the methodologies, using GIS techniques, to appraise the parcel prices and to estimate the compensation expenditures according to road expansions. This study consists of 2 parts. The first pare is to find out the ways for appraisal of patrol prices in certain area by the publicly announced land prices. The second part is to estimate the differences of compensation expenditures according to road expansion methods. The conclusions are as follows. First, to appraise the target parcel prices, a comparison to the publicly announced land prices should be used. For this, 19 items of land characteristics of existing land information should be analyzed and compared using GIS techniques. Second, the compensation expenditure could be easily estimated using GIS techniques too. In this process, if necessary, we have to apply the minimum parcel size in Building Codes.

Vegetation Structure of the Major Habitat of Quercus acuta Thunb. in Korea (국내 붉가시나무(Quercus acuta Thunb.) 주요 자생지의 식생구조)

  • 붉가시나무는 기후변화에 따라 분포 확산이 예측되고 목재로서의 이용가치가 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 국내에서 붉가시나무의 자원량 및 생육환경을 파악하기 위하여 국내 분포 및 자생지의 식생구조를 분석하였다. 분포 범위 조사 결과, 제주도를 비롯한 남해안의 도서지역에 주로 분포하는데, 제주도 남부지역 약 200~800m에 분포하며 가거도, 완도, 진도 등에 주로 분포하였다. 지역별 자생지의 입지분석 결과, 교목층의 수고는 제주도에서 17.3m로 가장 높고 가거도의 경우 11.3m로 가장 낮았다. 또한 가거도 자생지의 경우 노출암 비율 70.7%, 평균 경사도 약 $30^{\circ}$로 경사가 매우 급하고 토양층이 가장 빈약하였다. 반면, 제주도에서는 계곡 사면이나 완만한 경사의 산록지대에 주로 분포하였다. 자생지의 식생구조를 파악하기 위하여 수종별 평균중요도지수를 산출한 결과, 교목층에서는 붉가시나무가 가장 높았다. 아교목층의 평균중요도지수는 제주도, 완도, 진도 자생지의 경우 동백나무가 각각 150.93, 83.54, 91.38로 가장 높았는데 이는 동백나무의 밀도가 상대적으로 높았기 때문이다. 반면 가거도 자생지에서는 붉가시나무의 평균중요도지수가 66.55로 가장 높게 산출되었다. 자생지 내 수종의 흉고직경에 따른 수고의 분포는 제주도, 진도, 완도 자생지의 경우 붉가시나무와 기타 수종이 전체 층위에서 고르게 분포하였지만 가거도 자생지에서는 상층일수록 경쟁 종없이 단일종이 분포하는 단순림으로 나타났다. 이 같은 단순림에서는 일시적인 교란에 의해 상층 개체가 없어지면 안정적으로 후대 개체를 생산할 수 없기 때문에 숲 가꾸기와 같은 적극적인 조절이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. 종다양도지수 분석결과, 층위가 높을수록 균재도가 낮게 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 붉가시나무림의 조성이나 안정적 유지 등 인위적 조절을 위한 기초 자료로 활용 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 휠체어 사용자의 이동을 방해하는 요소에는 도로의 경사도, 보도 턱과 같은 물리적인 장벽이 있다. 하지만 물리적 장벽을 직접적으로 제거하기에는 한계가 있고, 힘든 곳들도 많다. 이러한 도로사정 속에서 휠체어 사용자들의 이동상의 어려움을 줄이기 위해 목적지까지 안전하게 이동 가능한 길에 대한 정보를 제공하는 시스템, 가디안을 제안한다. 가디안은 웹 상의 지도 서비스에 수치지도의 정보를 추가하여 도로 경사도 및 기타 장애시설의 정보를 제공한다. 또한, 도로마다 색상의 농도에 따른 안전함의 정도를 표시하고, 사용자 참여기능을 이용하여 도로의 돌발상황 상태를 입력하고 확인할 수 있으며, 보호자와의 실시간 연결 기능을 통해 혼자서 이동하는 두려움을 제거하여 안전한 이동의 완성도를 추구하였다. 여기서는 가디안 시스템의 구조 및 구현을 보인다.

Cloud-Oriented XML Metadata Generation between Heterogeneous Navigation Systems for Unknown Roads (클라우드 환경에서 이기종 네비게이션간의 새로운 도로 정보 업데이트를 위한 XML 메타 데이터 생성)

  • The roadmap DB update for unknown roads is a very important factor for car navigation systems. In this paper, we propose a cloud computing based roadmap generation method for use between heterogeneous navigation system for unknown roads. While the drivers drive on unknown roads, the proposed method extracts the road attribute information, and then generates the metadata in an XML format that is available for the heterogeneous navigation systems in a cloud environment. The metadata is proposed to be used as a replacement for conventional proprietary roadmap formats which used by roadmap providers, which is efficient for heterogeneous navigation system providers in a cloud computing environment. Then, this metadata is provided to the roadmap DB providers through the cloud computing interfaces. With the proposed method, the roadmap DB providers update the own roadmap DB for navigation systems in real time. Therefore, the proposed method can reduce the costs of an actual traveling test and the maintenance for the roadmap DB provides. Thus, the cloud-oriented road map generation method can more efficiently update the unknown road information.

Estimating Equipment and vehicle Demands for Snow Removal Tasks by Road Snow Removal Scenarios (도로 제설 시나리오별 소요 제설장비 및 차량 추정에 관한 연구)

  • Rapid roadway snow removal is significantly important due to difficult occurrence estimation of heavy snowfall disasters by global warming and climate change. Local governments of S. Korea have snow removal equipments and vehicles based on past experiences without considering snowfall and roadway characteristics. The objective of this research is to develop the demand estimation procedure for snow removal equipments and vehicles based on regional snowfall and roadway characteristics. This research first classifies regional snowfall characteristics using KMO's ten-year snowfall data. Second, roadway snow removal length is computed for local governments. Real possession data is compared with demand estimation of snow removal equipments & vehicles for each local government with roadway snow removal scenarios. Finally, required demands of snow removal equipments & vehicles are predicted by concerning regional snowfall amount and required snow removal hours. Results from this research are used for developing heavy snowfall disaster management policies for optimal demands and snow removal routes of 229 local governments.

Characteristics of Habitat Structure and Bird Communities between a Natural Deciduous Forest and the Road Area in Gwangneung, Korea (광릉 지역 활엽수 천연림과 도로 주변의 서식지 구조와 조류군집 특성)

  • This study was conducted to clarify the characteristics of habitat structure and bird communities between natural deciduous forest and around the road from October 2005 to August 2006 in the National Arboretum, Gwangneung, Korea. There were more larger trees and higher coverage of crown canopy in the natural deciduous forest than around the road. A total thirty seven species of birds were observed in the natural deciduous forest and twenty species were around road. The observed number of bird species and individuals, and bird species diversity index (H') were higher in the natural deciduous forest in each season. Foraging and nesting guild structures were also different. The differences of characteristics of bird communities would be related with habitat structure between both study areas.

  • The update of a high-precision map was carried out by modifying the geometric information using ortho-images or point-cloud data as the source data and then reconstructing the relationship between the spatial objects. These series of processes take considerable time to process the geometric information, making it difficult to apply real-time route planning to a vehicle quickly. Therefore, this study proposed a method to update the road network for route planning using a graph data structure and storage type of graph data structure considering the characteristics of the road network. The proposed method was also reviewed to assess the feasibility of real-time route information transmission by applying it to actual road data.

Exhibition and Convention Destination Site Evaluation Using Importance-Performance Analysis (중요도-성취도 분석에 의한 전시컨벤션 개최지 평가)

  • This study aims to examine seven factors and forty-two selection attributes of Seoul as an Exhibition and Convention Destination Site through the Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) from the Exhibition and Convention Planner. The result of this study shows these three conclusions. First, according to the result of the Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) of the forty-two selection attributes of an Exhibition and Convention Destination Site, thirteen attributes were placed on the right top area(Keep Up the Good Work), four attributes were placed on the right bottom area(Possible Overkill), five attributes were located on the left top area(Concentrate Here), and the other twenty attributes were located on the left bottom area(Low Priority). Second, the Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) of seven factors in an Exhibition and Convention Destination Site reveals that the factors in the right top area(Keep Up the Good Work) of high importance and high performance were "Exhibition and Convention Center Facilities", "Exhibition and Convention Fee", and "Exhibition and Convention Center Accommodation Capacity". And the one factor located on the left top area(Concentrate Here) of high importance and low performance was "Exhibition and Convention Destination Regional Space", while the other factors of "Exhibition and Convention Center Management", "Exhibition and Convention Destination Tourism Space" and "Exhibition and Convention Destination Leisure Activity Space" were placed on the left bottom area(Low Priority) of low importance and low performance. Third, the difference of the mean value of the Importance and Performance on Seoul as an Exhibition and Convention Destination Site has been revealed that the performance of the attributes was lower than the importance of the attributes because forty attributes have described all plus(+) except two attributes.

Development of Korean Geoid Model and Verification of its Precision (우리나라 지오이드 모델 구축 및 정밀도 검증)

  • The previous geoid model developed in early 2000s shows 14cm level of precision due to the problems on distribution, and quality of the land gravity and GPS/Leveling data. From 2007, the new land and airborne gravity data as well as GPS/Leveling data having high quality and regular distribution has been obtained. In 2011, a new gravimetric geoid model has been constructed with precision of 5.29cm which was improved about 27% comparing to the previous model. However, much more land gravity data has been collected at the control point, bench marks and triangulation points since 2010. Also, GPS/Leveling data having 10km spacing over whole country has been obtained through the project which is for the construction of new control points. In this study, new gravimetric geoid has been calculated based on the all available gravity data up to present. The geoid height shows the range from 18.05m to 32.70m over whole country and its precision is 5.76cm. The degree of fit and precision of hybrid geoid model are 3.60cm and 4.06cm, respectively. At the end, 3.35cm of the relative precision in 15km baseline has been calculated to confirm its practical usage. Especially, it has been founded that regional bias occurred at the Kangwon and coastal area due to problems on the leveling data. Also, some inland points show inconsistent large difference which needs to be verified by analyzing the unified control points results.

Design of Operator for Searching Trip Time Dependent Shortest Path in a Road Network (도로 네트워크 환경에서 운행 시간을 고려한 최단 경로 탐색 연산자 설계)

  • 최근 도로 네트워크 환경에서 날로 증가하는 교통 수요를 충족시키고 각종 교통 문제를 해결하기 위해서 지능형교통시스템(ITS, Intelligent Transportation System)을 적용하고 있다. 특히, 첨단교통정보 시스템(ATIS, Advanced Traveler Information System)은 개별 차량의 주행을 최적화시키는 시스템으로서 운전자에게 출발지에서 목적지까지 빠르고 쾌적한 주행경로를 제공하는 차량 경로계획 수립을 제공한다. 하지만 이러한 시스템은 도로 구간의 비용으로 정적인 값을 이용하므로 동적으로 변화하는 구간 비용을 가지고 도로 네트워크에서 최단 경로를 제공하기는 어렵다. 따라서, 이 논문에서는 교통 혼잡을 고려한 최단 경로 탐색 연산자를 제안한다. 제안된 연산자는 현재 시간 비용과 과거의 시간 비용 변화 량을 더하여 출발지에서 목적지까지 경로를 탐색하는데 이용한다. 이러한 방법은 시간에 따라 변화하는 도로의 상황을 반영하며 출발지에서 목적지까지의 최단 경로뿐만 아니라 예상 도착 시간을 추정할 수 있다. 또한 제안된 연산자는 효율적인 도로 이용, 물류비용 감소, 응급 상황 대체, 연료 절약 및 환경 오염 감소 등의 장점을 가지며 첨단교통정보시스템에서 응용 될 수 있다.
