Road guide sign is one of important traffic facility, which guides a driver a direction to go. A road is being newly built and/or an existing road can be temporarily closed very often at metropolitan area. Such information has to be linked to a road guide sign and to be updated in time. Otherwise, it might cause not only confusion to a driver but also traffic accident and/or traffic congestion. However, road guide signs are not properly managed at this time since the amounts of information are huge and they are being managed through paper maps manually. A decision-making framework has been developed to manage a variety of information of road guide signs based on the concept of GIS(Geographic Information Systems). Especially, it is designed on the fact that the existing national digital base maps under the NGIS(National Geographic Information Systems) program can be utilized. This framework has several functions such as the manipulation of statistics, landmark linkages along the selected traffic corridor and automatic design of signboard's content. This system is applied to the Kangnam district in Seoul Metropolitan area (SMA) for a case study.

This study analyzes the main road network for road users to manage roads efficiently and derives problematic road sections to be improved. Traditional road management has been operated by manager-oriented view and a diversified road management system based on congestion. Therefore, in this research, the mail road Network was selected from the viewpoint of passenger-oriented, logistics-oriented and tourism-oriented, and the problematic road sections were derived through Level Of Service (LOS) analysis, safety analysis using EPDO accident rate, and network service analysis. This study emphasizes the efficient user-oriented road construction and management system and the need of constructing a mail road network, and it suggests the improvement strategies.

There are many uses of control charts in health-care monitoring and in public-health surveillance. For example, control charts are used in monitoring and improvement of hospital performance, in monitoring chronic diseases and infectious diseases, and so on. We introduce the Variable Life-Adjusted Display (VLAD) chart and propose the method for choosing control limits of the VLAD chart to give specified in-control properties.

Road sign is one of the road attached facilities to provide conveniences to motor drivers. The setup of location information according to the related regulation and the inclusion of various attributes such as place names, route numbers, symbols, bearings, distances to the place of interest distinguish the road sign from other facilities. These features give advantages to the informationization of road sign. Presently there established about 130,000 road signs on each class of roads, and about 280 road management offices have controlled these road signs independently, but there are plethora of ineffectiveness such as the lack of consistency, recognition, connectivity, and location suitability etc. These are the major factor of confusions rather than providing conveniences, and arisen a lot of public grievances. Accordingly, in this research the road signs throughout the nation were databased and the web-GIS based road sign management system was established to ameliorate the problems reveled. Since the road sign management system we developed reflected the demands of the persons in charge and users, the management effectiveness might be enhanced and the public inconveniences will be reduced.

도로표지는 도로 이용자에게 목적지까지의 방향, 거리, 경로 안내 등 기타정보를 제공함으로써 안전하고 원활한 교통흐름을 제공하여 도로의 이용 효율을 극대화할 수 있는 중요한 도로 부속시설물이다. 이 시설물의 설치 기준인 도로표지규칙의 일부 기준이 미흡하고 운영 및 관리담당 기관이 일원화되지 않아, 전문적 도로표지 관리가 용이하지 않은 실정이다. 이에 도로표지의 통합적 전문적 관리와, 그에 따른 도로표지의 신속하고 정확한 조사가 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 최적의 조사시스템을 도출하기 위하여 도로시설물의 조사를 위한 여러 방법과 시스템을 비교하고 그 장단점을 분석하였다. 또한, 수치지도를 바탕으로 한 도로망도를 추출하고 DGPS 측량을 실시한 도로망도를 이용하여 현지조사를 실시하였다. 현지 조사 시스템을 공간정보, 속성정보로 구성된 데이터베이스, 표지판등록 및 GPS프로그램으로 구성된 응용프로그램, 소프트웨어와 경로탐색용 네비게이션, 노트북, 디지털카메라, GPS로 구성된 하드웨어로 구성하여 현지조사에 사용하였다. 현지조사 작업은 차량에 설치된 디지털카메라를 이용하여 원격조정으로 도로표지의 사진을 촬영하고, GPS를 이용하여 위치를 측정하였다. 현지조사 시스템은 지도의 축척에 맞는 정확도로 조정이 가능하며, 도로표지 조사뿐만 아니라 교통표지 및 그 외의 도로시설물의 조사에도 활용하고, 무선통신을 이용한다면 실시간 정보의 수정 및 입력이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

This study was to identify the level of perception and practice of hospital infection control among nurses at geriatric hospitals for the convergent approach. Data were collected from October 29 to November 3, 2012, using hospital Infection control questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using a t-test, ANOVA and Correlation. The mean values of hospital infection control practice were lower than that of perception, the differences were statistically significant. There were statistically significant differences in the perception on age, education, existence of guidelines for infection control, and in the practice according to the existence of guidelines. There was a statistically significant positive correlation between perceptions of hospital infection control and practice. Therefore, it is necessary to provide continual opportunities for systematic, professional, and practical education, as well as to develop relevant programs aimed at improving the capacity of hospital infection control.

접든성통제는 고속도로에 있어서 교통사고 감소의 가장 효과적인 수단들 중의 하나로 인식되어져왔다. 이러한 접근통제의 새로운 적용으로서 접근성관리는 과도한 투자 없이 일반도로상에서 교통사고를 감소시키는데 활용되고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 도시간선도로상에 있어서 접근성관리와 교통사고와의 관계를 교통사고비용의 측면에서 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 이 연구는 미국 텍사스주 대도시 지역내 중앙분리간선도로의 교통사고자료를 다중회귀모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 이 연구는 자료분석의 결과 다음과 같은 사실을 발견할 수 있었다. 첫째, 접근성관리는 도시간선도로의 교통사고비용과 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있었다. 둘째, 이러한 접근성관리와 교통사고비용과의 관계는 도로의 교통상황과 도로변 토지이용상태에 따라 다양하게 나타났다. 셋째, 대체로 접근성관리와 관련된 요인이 교통상황 및 토지이용상태에 관련된 요인보다 더 교통사고비용과 밀접한 관계를 보였다. 마지막으로, 교통사고비용을 설명하는데 있어 가장 중용한 접근성 관리 요인은 외부접근로의 간격으로 나타났다.

현대의 산업은 점차 분야가 다양해지고 기술이 첨단화되며, 고객의 요구사항이 복잡해지고 있다. 이에 따라 제조업에서는 초정밀, 고신뢰도가 요구되어지고 있는 실정이다. 제조업 분야의 핵심 기술인 SPC기법 중에서 누적합(CUSUM) 관리도는 공정의 작은 변화에 대해서 민감하다는 특징 때문에 첨단 산업인 반도체나 화학공정 등에서 활용도가 높은 관리도 기법이다. 하지만 복잡한 이론 체계로 인하여 사용편리성이 떨어진다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 누적합 관리도의 이론적 전개에 관한 체계적인 조사연구를 통해 누적합 관리도의 복잡한 이론 체계를 이해하는데 도움이 되고자 한다.
