This study aims to look into what influences a self-growth program has on morality and achievement motivation of adolescents on probation. As a result of the study, it was discovered that after the self-growth program, there was a statistically significant difference in interest in others(altruism) and their social devotion while there was no significant difference in the interest in self and social issues. Also, there was a statistically significant difference in future-orientation, confidence, a sense of responsibility, having a mind to face challenges, and task orientation while there was not a significant difference in having an adventurous mind. The results above indicate that the self-growth program has a significant influence on the morality and achievement motivation in adolescents on probation. Therefore, to enhance the morality and achievement motivation of adolescents, more organized research on self-growth programs is needed and their utilization should be improved.

The purpose of this study is to reconsider whether Temple in William Faulkner's Requiem for a Nun has grown morally. Temple in Sanctuary, the previous work was raped with a corn cob by Popeye and perjured in the court, resulting in Lee Goodwin's brutal death. Now she is now a mother of two children and a wife of Gowan Stevens, but she cannot get out of the past and tries to run away with Pete, Red's brother, but she was resisted by Nancy Mannigoe, a nanny. Nancy tries to stop Temple sacrificing herself and Temple's baby. When confronting Nancy who accepted her death sentence without hesitation, Temple realized her past guilt which never fades out. A lapse of 20 years between Sanctuary and Requiem provides Temple and author himself opportunities for spiritual and moral growth in spite of painful realization that the past is never past. On the other hand, Faulkner tells the history and the past of Jefferson elaborating the description of the courthouse and the jail. Both are correlated in thematic perspective, the former representing humanity's need for security, the latter the opposite impulse toward aggression and destruction. but together represent the presentness of the past and the fluidity of time.

This study is about applying the concept of moral injury in reinterpreting and understanding the experience of female North Korean refugees who have experienced psychological trauma and are struggling with adjusting in their everyday lives. The database KISS and DBpia were used to search for academic peer-reviewed articles published before August 13th in 2017, using 'female or women North Korean,' 'female or women relocated North Korean,' and 'female or women North Korean defector' as keywords. In total 51 studies were finally selected for content analysis and the result were the following. First, listing from the most often occurring study topic to the least occurring topic in order: post-defection adjustment related, mothering experience, experience of North Korean regime and Korean War, work or job or employment related, recovering from psychological trauma as well as growth and resilience related, experiences in China, trauma and psychological difficulties, anxiety treatment process and effects. Second, words related to psychological aspect of moral injury appeared 260 times in 51 selected studies, changes in the existential belief appeared 82 times, cognitive aspects of moral injury appeared 71 times, and behavioral aspects 21 times. Third, two main contexts emerged to be the antecedent that led to moral injury and they were 'identity denial' and 'dismantled family.' In attempts to find opposite cases or stories where aspects of moral injury were not found despite the existence of its antecedents and it was 'identity restructuring.' Based on the finding, practice implications that could help female North Korean refugees prevent or recover from moral injury were suggested.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the HE(home economics) teachers' altruistic attitudes and levels of moral education in the middle and high schools. Data was collected from the survey mailed to the middle and high school HE teachers in Ulsan city. The 114 questionnaires were used for final analysis. SPSS/WIN for 10.0 program was used for analysis of the frequency and percentage, mean and standard derivation, T test, and One-way ANOVA according to the research questions. The results of this study were as the follows: First, HE teachers' altruistic attitudes were higher than average. They considered that trying their best in the virtue of social responsibility was very important. And they were inclined to share in others' situations and emotions with the empathic attitudes. Second, the levels of moral education in HE class were higher than average. Teachers valued moral virtues highly, such as respect for life, diligence and sincerity, courage, and respect for parents and the elderly. Third, HE teachers' individual variables, such as institution type shows the statistically meaningful difference in the levels of moral education. Teachers' group with more educational career and aged teachers' group, and public school teachers' group provided moral education more than the others.

The purpose of this study was to investigate moral judgment among dental hygiene students in Korea. Data was collected through self-reported questionnaires in March, 2008. The Korean version of the DIT(Defining Issues Test) was adopted to evaluate levels of moral judgment, which was measured by the score of P(%). The data were analyzed by a t-test, ANOVA. The results were as follows: 1) The mean score of P(%) was 41.16. 2) The score of P(%) revealed significant differences by family form(p = 0.003).
