A Design of Platform of Portable Cultural Assets Surveillance System (이동형 문화재 감시시스템의 플랫폼 설계)

  • In this paper, a platform of portable cultural assets surveillance system is designed in order to prevent the theft of cultural assets. The platform was designed to take into account the characteristics of the cultural assets for minimizing of the damage of cultural assets. The platform is composed of the portable cultural assets surveillance system and the collaboration network protocol among th surveillance system. If an intruder steals the cultural assets and moves according to the scheduled route, it is expected that the platform has a great role because the platform of portable cultural assets surveillance system can performs the continuous tracking by the collaboration network.

  • 자전거 자물쇠를 사용해 자전거를 보관하고 있음에도 자전거의 도난 사건은 끊이지 않고 있다. 이를 방지하기 위해 경보 알림 기능을 탑재한 자물쇠가 존재하지만, 무게가 무거워 가벼운 자전거를 사기 위해 비싼 비용을 지불한 의미가 없어졌다. 본 논문에는 기울기 센서를 이용하여 도난 상황을 감지하고, 추가적으로 위치 정보까지 제공하는 "IoT 기반의 자전거 자물쇠"를 제안한다.

  • Global companies are building global production network for the demand of the global market. However, the establishment and operation of overseas plants make the unexpected case like theft, low will to produce and salary issue of local workers. Thus in this paper, we propose the raw materials loss prevention model based on IP Camera and RFID Box for raw materials management of overseas plants. This model can prevent the theft or loss of raw materials write inventory up in real-time. This model can be allows us to realize the cost-effective production management because it enables remote inventory management. And this model can prevent brand image danage and profit loss due to reject product.

  • 스마트폰이 많이 보급되어 커다란 시장을 형성하고 있고, 많은 기업체에서 전자 결제 시스템을 도입하는 등, 스마트폰으로 업무를 보는 환경이 늘어나고 있다. 더불어 스마트폰 보안 및 분실, 도난 방지 시스템의 필요성을 느끼게 되었다. 본 논문에서 다루는 내용은 안드로이드SDK기반 스마트폰의 분실이나 도난을 방지하고 내부의 중요한 데이터를 보존하기 위한 시스템으로, 분실 시 정보의 유출을 제한하기위한 방법에 중심을 두고 개발하였다.

  • 늘어나는 물동량으로 인해 화물 운송의 중요성은 커지고 있으며 그와 더불어 화물 운송 중 발생하는 도난 또는 분실 사고도 빈번히 발생하고 있다. 고가 화물의 경우 운송 도중 사고가 발생하게 되면 일반 화물에 비해 그 피해정도는 훨씬 심각하다. 그러나 대부분 고가 화물의 운송 중 발생하는 사고에 대한 대책은 운송 보험 가입을 통해 도난 및 분실 피해에 대한 보상에만 초점이 맞춰져 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 새로운 기술인 IP-RFID를 이용하여 운송 중인 고가 화물의 상태 정보 및 위치 정보 파악과 화물 운송함 잠금장치 제어를 통해 고가 화물의 도난을 사전에 방지하고 안전하게 운송 할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

Effectiveness of Situational Crime Prevention Methods to Deter Shoplifting in the Private Security (상점절도 방지를 위한 상황적 경비기법의 효과성)

  • Shoplifting causes serious losses to not only stores but also to consumers and society as a whole. There need to be effective society-wide measures to control shoplifting due to its characteristic of playing the role as a stepping stone to induce more serious crimes. However, there is a lack of research on shoplifting in Korea, especially the research analyzing situational factors to suggest effective alternative measures for shoplifting prevention. Therefore, the current study surveyed teenagers, the group known to be the most frequent shoplifters, to see their perception of effectiveness of the situational crime prevention methods used in stores. The result showed that the teenagers found only some of the prevention methods effective, including CCTV, Electronic Article Surveillance(EAS), minimization of blind areas, and watchful clerks. However, factors such as the number of doors and their accessibility and presence of security guards were not perceived to be very effective. Using the result of the survey, this study suggests ways to utilize situational crime prevention methods more effectively to deter shoplifting.

  • Only if the secret key stored in the engine ECU matches car key stored in the car, immobilizer system is a car anti-theft system that automobile engine takes. To take an action as soon in case of losing car key or being stolen, the ASPI protocol is proposed for assigning a new password after finishing user authentication by the smart phone etc. The shortcoming point of that directly bring the car to a service center in case of losing key can be complemented by the proposed protocol. In case of the car and key both are theft together, the car can be stopped soon.

  • In this thesis, in consideration of the functions of general carriers, smart carriers with various convenience functions were studied for supplementation and improvement based on the disadvantages of carriers and inconvenience when using them. Based on the app inventory program, LED and motor locks were installed in carriers through smartphone applications, Bluetooth recognition and control functions that easily control on/off, load cell sensors were installed inside the carriers to detect weight, install Bluetooth and alarms on LCD panels, and prevent theft and loss.

  • In this study, the usefulness of the RFID technology, which has been recommended to be used in libraries, is reviewed by its technical aspect and the successful methods derived from RFID-applied libraries is presented to other libraries. More precisely, it is advised that checking out or returning books and materials, checking a collection of books, identifying misplaced materials, and theft-proofing materials, which have been previously performed using bar codes or the magnetic tapes, should be automated through RFID additionally the method to apply the technology to library's facilities or devices is proposed.

  • Anti-theft safety caps for bolted joints are necessary to ensure the safety of citizens and prevent theft of manholes, bridge guardrails, bulletin boards, subway safety handrails and others. Safety caps enhance the look of bolted joints, avert accidents that involve hitting the head of bolts, hamper them from coming loose by covering the head of bolts. This study focuses on press die design methods and press molding condition setting to resolve bursting and cracks in products, and on molding material selection and heat treatment technologies to boost life extension.
