  • The analysis method using Big Data has evolved based on the Big data Management Technology. There are quite a few researching institutions anticipating new era in data analysis using Big Data and IT vendors has been sided with them launching standardized technologies for Big Data management technologies. Big Data is also affected by improvements of IT gadgets IT environment. Foreran by social media, analyzing method of unstructured data is being developed focusing on diversity of analyzing method, anticipation and optimization. In the past, data analyzing methods were confined to the optimization of structured data through data mining, OLAP, statics analysis. This data analysis was solely used for decision making for Chief Officers. In the new era of data analysis, however, are evolutions in various aspects of technologies; the diversity in analyzing method using new paradigm and the new data analysis experts and so forth. In addition, new patterns of data analysis will be found with the development of high performance computing environment and Big Data management techniques. Accordingly, this paper is dedicated to define the possible analyzing method of social media using Big Data. this paper is proposed practical use analysis for social media analysis through data mining analysis methodology.

  • 최근 들어 WWW의 등장과 함께 인터넷 사용자가 폭발적으로 증가하는 가운데 많은 사람들이 인터넷을 통하여 쉽게 원하는 정보를 얻을 수 있게 되었다. 또한, 기존의 지리정보시스템(GIS)도 WWW과 연동되면서 사용자들이 좀 더 쉽게 인터넷을 통하여 지형공간 데이터에 접근할 수 있게 되었다. 지형공간 데이터를 인터넷상에서 접근하기 위해서는 각 기관이나 단체에서 이미 구축해놓은 지형공간 데이터가 인터넷상에 등록 및 공개되어 있어야 한다. 그러나, 지적 재산인 지형공간데이타를 인터넷상에 전적으로 공개하고 있는 사례는 그다지 많지 않다. 만약, 이미 구축되어 있는 지형공간 데이터를 무조건 공개하는 것이 아니라 정당한 대가로 판매할 수 있다면 다양한 양질의 지형공간 데이터의 유통이 가능할 것이다. 그러므로, WWW상에서 지형공간 데이터를 등록하고 필요로 하는 사람에게 판매할 수 있는 전자상거래 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서 설계 및 구현하는 WWW과 연동하는 지형공간 데이터 전자상거래 시스템에서는 지도 공급자가 가지고 있는 지형공간 데이터를 전자상거래 서버에 등록하고, 지도 구매자들은 지도 공급자가 등록해 놓은 지도에 대해 다양한 정보와 미리 보기 등을 통하여 구입 의사를 결정하여 구매할 수 있다. 본 시스템은 온라인상에서의 파일전송을 지원하기 때문에 지형공간 데이터를 신뢰성있게 전송하는 기능을 제공하고, 다른 일반적인 Web 기반 GIS 시스템과 달리 지불 결과에 대하여 충분한 신뢰성을 제공하며, 또한 다양한 지형공간 데이터를 지원할 수 있는 확장성도 지원한다.

Development of the Approximate Cost Estimating Model for PSC Box Girder Bridge based on the Breakdown of Standard Work (대표공종 기반의 PSC Box 교량 상부공사 개략공사비 산정모델에 관한 연구)

  • Needs for developing a better way of cost estimating process for public construction projects have been widely recognized. Those needs are mainly from the early phases of the project through the construction life cycle due to the its importance to the control process. In contrast to the traditional estimating method based on unit-price references, this research utilized this following process. The first step is analyzing the real cost data from actual cost activities (2000~2010) about the statement of P.S.C(Prestressed Concrete) Box Girder Bridge. The collected data was broken into four categories based on technical construction methods such as I.L.M(Incremental Launching Method), M.S.S(Movable Scaffolding System), F.S.M(Full Staging Method), and F.C.M(Free Cantilever Method). The second, actual design documents including the actual cost estimating documents, drawings and specifications were carefully reviewed to cluster the cost itemized statement from four categories. It was also attempted to seek the proper breakdown of standard works that are responsible for more than 95 percentage in each categories in terms of its cost. The third, this research comes up the index for standard unit materials and unit price of standard work and develops the approximate estimating model applying for the specification(length and breadth of bridges) per square area that the user takes as well as suggests the practical application plan within the original time alloted.

  • So far, the importance of informatization, as well as investment into it, has been growing steadily. Due to the uncertainties and risks in adopting information technologies, systematic decision-making is definitely needed in investing in a large scale information system. Based on the existing theories about the economic life span of information systems and in consideration of the actual cost involved in the adoption and operation of the systems by the financial institutions in Korea, this study presents the optimal economic life span for all types of information systems in terms of the economic cost and generalizes the optimal life span. The ultimate purpose of this study is to develop a model that could be used in anticipating the timing of economic replacement of the information system of the same type and making decisions on IT investment.

Understanding the Influence of Funder Characteristics on Information Processing and Pledging Intention on a Reward-based Crowdfunding Platform (보상기반 크라우드 펀딩 플랫폼에서 투자자의 특성이 정보 처리 및 투자 의사결정에 미치는 영향)

  • Even though crowdfunding has become popular as a novel means of raising capital for early-stage ventures and startups through an Internet-based platform, it is unclear how a funder's characteristics, such as motivation and ability, influence their information processing and pledging decision. This study aims to propose and test a research model for determining the relationships between a funder's personal attributes, information processing style, and funding intention. To test the research model, we collected data from 139 Amazon Mechanical Turk participants through an online questionnaire survey. The findings indicate that a funder's self-efficacy has a positive effect on heuristic processing but has no significant effect on systematic processing. By contrast, a funder's personal relevance positively influences both systematic and heuristic processing. Furthermore, heuristic processing, as well as perceived value and perceived risk, influence pledging intentions positively. Our findings potentially contribute to improving the design of crowdfunding platforms to better support a funder's information needs. Based on our findings, we discuss the implications of our study as well as the directions for future research.

A Study on the Prediction of Uniaxial Compressive Strength Classification Using Slurry TBM Data and Random Forest (이수식 TBM 데이터와 랜덤포레스트를 이용한 일축압축강도 분류 예측에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, research on predicting ground classification using machine learning techniques, TBM excavation data, and ground data is increasing. In this study, a multi-classification prediction study for uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) was conducted by applying random forest model based on a decision tree among machine learning techniques widely used in various fields to machine data and ground data acquired at three slurry shield TBM sites. For the classification prediction, the training and test data were divided into 7:3, and a grid search including 5-fold cross-validation was used to select the optimal parameter. As a result of classification learning for UCS using a random forest, the accuracy of the multi-classification prediction model was found to be high at both 0.983 and 0.982 in the training set and the test set, respectively. However, due to the imbalance in data distribution between classes, the recall was evaluated low in class 4. It is judged that additional research is needed to increase the amount of measured data of UCS acquired in various sites.

  • If an underground accident occurs, the cause must be quickly identified and human and material damage reduced. The Underground Accident Investigation Committee is responsible for identifying the causes of accidents and preparing response plans to prevent similar accidents from occurring in the future. The law stipulates that the Underground Accident Investigation Committee can operate from a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 9 months after an accident occurs. However, the operation schedule of the Underground Accident Investigation Committee seems difficult to cite the accident investigation report to the construction project currently in progress at the same time project. In this study, the Underground Accident Investigation Committee seeks to establish a strategy for developing technology that can shorten data collection and analysis, which previously took 3 months, to less than 1 month. As a result of the research, five areas of technology development identified, ground data collection and transmission technology, ground safety data generation technology, digital twin-based underground safety analysis and visualization technology, digital twin-based geo-ambulance construction and operation technology, and digital twin-based geo-ambulance standardization and legal system. research was able to be conducted. If the proposed technology is developed, it is expected to contribute to reducing accident scenes through faster decision making than before.

  • Development of computer and electronic technology leads innovative progress in spatial informatics and successful commercialization. Geospatial information technology plays an important role in decision making in various applications. However, information display media are two-dimensional plane that limits visual perception. Understanding human visual processing mechanism to percept stereo vision makes possible to implement three-dimensional stereo image display. This paper proposes on-the-fly stereo image generation methods that are involved with various exterior and camera parameters including exposure station, viewing direction, image size, overlap and focal length. Collinearity equations and parameters related with stereo viewing conditions were solved to generate realisitc stereo imagery. In addition stereo flying simulation scenery was generated with different viewing locations and directions. The stereo viewing is based on the parallax principle of two veiwing locations. This study implemented anaglyphic stereogram, polarization and lenticular stereo display methods. Existing display technology has limitation to provide visual information of three-dimensional and dynamic nature of the real world because the 3D spatial information is projected into 2D plane. Therefore, stereo display methods developed in this study improves geospatial information and applications of GIS by realistic stereo visualization.

Development of Web-GIS based Real-time Damage Information System (웹GIS 기반의 실시간 피해정보제공시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 현장 조사를 통해 얻어지는 피해정보를 광역적 무선통신을 이용해 전송하고 웹GIS의 지도상에 실시간으로 업데이트하여 보다 신속하고 효율적으로 관련 정보를 제공하는 실시간 피해정보제공시스템을 개하였다. 연구 대상지역은 매년 대형 태풍과 집중호우로 인한 피해가 발생하고 있는 부산시 강서구를 선정하였다. 도형 데이터베이스는 대상지역 $179.05km^2$에 대하여 1:5,000 및 1:1,000 수치지도를 기반으로 행정경계 등 7개의 주제도로 구축하였다. 또한, IKONOS위성의 1m급 고해상도 위성영상을 스트리밍 방식으로 구축하여 실제 피해현장과 주변 환경에 관한 정보들을 함께 제공할 수 있는 방안을 연구하였다. 웹GIS 시스템의 웹 프레임은 HTML과 ASP언어를 이용하여 개발되었으며, 맵 서비스 프레임은 ArcIMS를 이용하여 개발되었다. 현장에서 조사된 피해정보는 좌표를 기반으로 하여 웹GIS 시스템에 점으로 표출되며 재해대장 웹 페이지를 통해 피해지역의 영상 및 피해추정액등 세부적인 피해정보를 함께 제공하도록 하였다. 웹GIS 시스템은 피해현황을 GIS 데이터와 함께 실시간으로 제공함으로써 신속한 현장파악, 대응책 마련 및 복구계획 수립을 위한 의사결정에 활용 가능할 것이라 예상되며, 소방방재청에서 구축하고 있는 NDMS와 연계를 통하여 여러 국가기관에서 얻어지는 다양한 피해정보의 제공 또한 가능할 것이라 사료된다.

  • As information technologies are improving, geographical information system (GIS) technologies are also developing rapidly and demands for spatial analysis with GIS are increasing. Particularly, the spatial analyses with GIS researches have been noted rather than general GIS researches. However, most GIS researches focus on space dimension: a density-based clustering method (DBSCAN) or a DBSCAN algorithm using region expressed as Weight (DBSCAN-W) but the importance of rational decision making based on time dimension has been neglected. This study adopts system dynamics in order to put time dimension in GIS-based optimum allocation.
