TRIB(Telescope for Responding comments for Internet Blog)을 제안한다.

  • In recent years, Weblog has become the most typical social media for citizens to share their opinions. And, many Weblogs reflect several social issues. There are many internet users who actively express their opinions for internet news or Weblog articles through the replying comments on online community. Hence, we can easily find internet blogs including more than 10 thousand replying comments. It is hard to search and explore useful messages on weblogs since most of weblog systems show articles and their comments to the form of sequential list. In this paper, we propose a visualizing and clustering system called TRIB (Telescope for Responding comments for Internet Blog) for a large set of responding comments for a Weblog article. TRIB clusters and visualizes the replying comments considering their contents using pre-defined user dictionary. Also, TRIB provides various personalized views considering the interests of users. To show the usefulness of TRIB, we conducted some experiments, concerning the clustering and visualizing capabilities of TRIB, with articles that have more than 1,000 comments.

  • There are many internet users who collect the public opinions and express their opinions for internet news or blog articles through the replying comment on online community. But, it is hard to search and explore useful messages on web blogs since most of web blog systems show articles and their comments to the form of sequential list. Also, spam and malicious comments have become social problems as the internet users increase. In this paper, we propose a clustering and visualizing system for responding comments on large-scale weblogs, namely 'Daum AGORA,' using similarity analysis. Our system shows the comment clustering result as a simple screen view. Our system also detects spam comments using Needleman-Wunsch algorithm that is a well-known algorithm in bioinformatics.

  • Recently, many users discuss and argue with others using replying comments. This implies that a series of comments can be a new source of information since various opinions can be appeared in the dispute. It is important to understand the implicit dispute structure immanent in the comment set. In this paper, we examine the characteristics of disputes using replying comments in the Internet forum sites using a set of test articles with the comments collected from SketicalLeft and Agora, which are famous Internet forum sites in Korea. And we propose a new method for detecting and visualizing the dispute sections and relations from a large set of replying comments. To show the performance of our method, we measured precision, recall, and F-measure. According to the experimental results, the F-measures of the detection of the comments in dispute are about 0.84 (SketpcialLeft) and 0.83 (Agora); those of the detection of the commenter pairs in dispute are 0.75 (SketpcialLeft) and 0.82 (Agora), respectively. Since our method exploits the temporal order of commenters to detect the disputes, it is not dependent on the host language nor on the typos in comments. Also, our method can help the readers to grasp the structure of controversy hidden in the comment set through the visualized view.

  • This study aims to make meaning of the reactions of the Korean people through the text mining of comments on videos of the December 2018 MMA performance of intro on YouTube. For this, comments on 15 YouTube videos were collected over the past 10 months. With the collected data, a total of 5,135 comments were analyzed through crawling using the Python and BeautifulSoup programs, data was refined over a total of 3 sessions, and a final total of 5,080 comments were used as analysis material. A mining technique was used for data analysis and the process of refinement, analysis, and visualization was achieved using the Textom program. Research results showed that keyword analysis showed the keywords of 'performance', 'Korea', 'video', 'top', 'cool', 'dance', 'idol', 'legend', 'love', and 'gratitude' in that order and keywords such as 'patriotism' and 'Olympics' also appeared frequently. N-gram analysis showed that comments with contexts such as 'a top performance that will remain a legend among Korean idol performances', and 'an idol performance that displayed the traditional culture of Korea' were in higher ranks. Based on such keyword analysis results, topic modeling was applied and 5 top keywords were extracted from a total of 5 topics. Analysis results of topic contents and distribution showed that topics in the comments of this performance's videos largely consisted of the 3 reactions of 'high praise regarding the stage performance', 'affection towards the fusion and artistic sublimation of Korean traditional dance', and 'gratitude towards the uploading of cool dance videos'

  • In this study, we tried to produce moving-image works through sentiment analysis of music. First, Google natural language API was used for the sentiment analysis of lyrics, then the result was applied to the image visualization rules. In prior engineering researches, text-based sentiment analysis has been conducted to understand users' emotions and attitudes by analyzing users' comments and reviews in social media. In this study, the data was used as a material for the creation of artworks so that it could be used for aesthetic expressions. From the machine's point of view, emotions are substituted with numbers, so there is a limit to normalization and standardization. Therefore, we tried to overcome these limitations by linking the results of sentiment analysis of lyrics data with the rules of formative elements in visual arts. This study aims to transform existing traditional art works such as literature, music, painting, and dance to a new form of arts based on the viewpoint of the machine, while reflecting the current era in which artificial intelligence even attempts to create artworks that are advanced mental products of human beings. In addition, it is expected that it will be expanded to an educational platform that facilitates creative activities, psychological analysis, and communication for people with developmental disabilities who have difficulty expressing emotions.

  • In this paper, we propose a method for identifying hidden principal sentiments among large scale texts from documents, social data, internet and blogs by analyzing standard language, slangs, argots, abbreviations and emoticons in those words. The IRLBA(Implicitly Restarted Lanczos Bidiagonalization Algorithm) is used for principal component analysis with large scale sparse matrix. The proposed system consists of data acquisition, message analysis, sentiment evaluation, sentiment analysis and integration and result visualization modules. The suggested approaches would help to improve the accuracy and expand the application scope of sentiment analysis in social data.

  • National parks are one of the important types of protected area management systems established by IUCN and a management model for implementing effective conservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural heritage in countries around the world, and they assume important roles in conservation, scientific research, education, recreation and driving community development. In the context of big data, this study takes China's Liaohe National Park, a typical representative of global coastal wetlands, as a case study, and using Python technology to collect tourists' travelogues and reviews from major OTA websites in China as a source. The text spans from 2015 to 2022 and contains 2998 reviews with 166,588 words in total. The results show that wildlife resources, natural landscape, wetland ecology and the fishing and hunting culture of northern China are fully reflected in the perceptions of visitors to Liaohe National Park; visitors have strong positive feelings toward Liaohe National Park, but there is still much room for improvement in supporting services and facilities, public education and visitor experience and participation.
