정보이용능력은 정보화 사회를 살아가는데 있어서 필수적으로 갖추어야할 높은 수준의 일반지식이 되고 있으며, 대학과 대학도서관에서 학생 개개인이 정보이용능력을 가질 수 있도록 교육하는 것이 중요해 지고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 대학에서 교양과목으로 실시되고 있는 정보이용능력교육의 실태를 조사하고, 그 교육 내용의 타당성을 표준 지침과의 비교를 통해 살펴보고자 한다. 연구를 위해 8개 대학의 정보이용능력교육 현황(강의 주체, 과목명, 강의 방식, 강의 장소, 평가)을 조사하고, 강의계획서를 중심으로 교육 내용을 ACRL 표준과 비교하여 보았다.

본 고에서는 지식정보사회의 투자대상인 인간의 지식을 함양시키는 대학과, 특별히 대학구성원의 지식과 정보를 서비스하는 기관인 대학도서관에서의 지식공유에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 기존의 선행연구들을 통해 지식공유 영향요인을 추출한 후 지식관리시스템을 사용하고 있는 대학도서관의 도서관 직원들을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통하여 어떠한 요인들이 실질적으로 지식공유에 영향을 미치는지, 또한 지식관리시스템이 사용자에게 만족을 주는지 알아본 후, 이를 통하여 대학도서관에서 지식관리시스템을 사용하는데 효율적인 방안들이 무엇인지에 대해 연구하였다.

본 연구는 국내대학의 교원들의 학술논문업적에 관한 합리적이고 객관적인 평가방법 개발에 비계가 되고자, 현재 국내 대학에서 시행중인 교원업적평가 중 학술논문평가기준을 비교 분석하였다. 우선 문헌정보학과가 포함된 국내 종합대학 27개교의 학술논문평가기준을 수집하여 비교한 다음, 2001년에서 2014년까지의 전국문헌정보학과 교원들의 학술논문 서지데이터를 이용하여 학술지의 영향력지수 및 피인용횟수를 적용한 순위와 27개대학 평가기준을 적용한 순위를 학교별, 저자별로 도출하여 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 교원들의 공정한 평가방안 마련에 도모하고자 하며, 교원의 연구 및 학문활동의 상승 제고 뿐 아니라 대학 내 연구환경 개선까지 다방면으로 교원의 사기진작에 도움이 되고자 한다.

정보의 급격한 증가와 내용의 전문화 경향으로 인해 개별 도서관이 이용자가 원하는 모든 정보를 소장하는 것은 오늘날 거의 불가능하게 되었고, 따라서 도서관정보망 구축을 통한 자원의 공동활용이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 미국의 대학도서관 정보망 사례 및 국내 도서관정보망의 현황을 살펴보고 효과적인 대학도서관 지역정보망의 모형을 제시하고자 한다.

본 연구는 기록물관리법 시행과 함께 대학자료관 설치가 의무화되고 있는 시점에서 자료관의 불필요한 중복을 피하고, 규모 및 기능 등을 구체화하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 대학자료관 설치를 통한 효율적인 대학기록물 보존을 위해서는 중장기적인 발전계획의 수립과 유사기능을 갖는 도서관 및 박물관등에서 이루어지고 있는 대학기록물 및 보존환경 등에 대한 충분한 검토가 이루어져야 한다. 이는 여러 곳에서 기록물을 가지고 있다고 하더라도 관리의 측면에서는 이들 모두 대학 기록물로서의 일부를 이루기 때문이다. 특히 지방대학의 경우 현실적인 여건을 극복하기 위하여 기관 내 유사기능 기관들과 또는 지역 내 대학간 협력을 통해 기록물의 정보를 서로 공유하고 활용할 수 있는 효과적인 기능수행을 모색할 필요성이 있다.

정보기술의 발전은 시간과 공간의 제약 없이 학습자와 전문가의 상호작용을 이루어주는 온라인 기반 교육서비스인 이러닝을 대학도서관에서 이용자에게 온라인 서비스로 제공하기 시작했다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관에서 제공하는 이러닝 콘텐츠의 현황을 설립유형, 지역별, 규모별로 구분하여 비교 분석하는 것이다. 이를 통해 오늘날 대학도서관에서 중점적으로 제공하는 이러닝 콘텐츠를 파악하여 향후 이용자의 대학도서관 이러닝 콘텐츠 선호도와 만족도 등의 연구에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

본 연구는 대학도서관 사서가 지각하는 근거기반실무 지식의 정도와 영향요인을 식별하고자 하는 연구이다. 근거기반실무 지식에 유의한 차이가 나타난 변인은 연령, 교육 정도, 고용 유형, 직위, 학술지 읽기, 학술대회 참여이었다. 근거기반실무 지식에 영향을 미치는 요인은 교육 정도, 학술지 읽기로 나타났다. 본 연구는 대학도서관 사서의 근거기반실무 지식은 대학도서관과 사서직의 지속적 발전과 혁신의 촉진 요인이기 때문에 근거기반실무 역량을 향상시킬 수 있도록 연구 관련 활동을 지원하는 조직단위, 도서관계, 학계 차원의 지원과 정책이 필요하다.

National competence is based on the quality of university education, which is determined by the competitiveness of academia, research and information, IMD reported that Singapore, #2 country in national competence index, topped in quality of university education. Meanwhile Korea's current national knowledge infrastructure project lacks comprehensive coordination at a governmental level and has been conducted in a rather sporadic manner, without any consideration on the overall analysis of knowledge information resources. Consequently, a disproportionate amount of attention was devoted to collecting general information resources, while neglecting rare, hard-to-collect sources with historic, academic, and/or cultural values. This study proposes to build an academic resource management system to fully supervise academic resources at least, among national knowledge information resources which is a national asset, and also to allocate budget and cultivate new information building projects based on overall analysis on academic resources. In other words, there is a need for a management system to implement efficient linkage, distribution and utilization of academic resources and, to that end, we need to build an academic resource management system at a national level, maximizing the benefits from the knowledge society that we live in.

Library course pages are an integrated service providing both course management information and library resources as one gateway to strengthen university libraries' information services. It is possible to associate course management system and library resources, and to provide course-specific information rather than library interface with various searching gateways. In the case of foreign university libraries, library course pages have been developed more effectively and variously for university's environment and characteristics, and have been built for all the courses in a university by system processing, not manually. In foreign libraries, there are many sophisticated, dynamic, database-driven house-developed and vendor-developed systems for library course pages than hand coded HTML pages. But in Korea, there is a lack of awareness of the importance of library course pages among librarians, and the programs of library course pages have not yet been developed. Therefore, this study is to build the model for library course pages using literature reviews and case studies. Then, this study could also lay the foundation for effective library services and the system development of library course pages.

이 연구는 대학도서관 사서에게 어떠한 지적 기반을 요구하고 있는가에 대한 물음에서 시작되었다. 현 문헌정보학 교과과정이 대학도서관에 필요한 사서를 양성하는데 적합한지 현장 사서들의 의견을 들어보았다. 특히, 시대가 요구하는 대학도서관 사서들이 갖추어야 하는 능력이 무엇인지 지식, 기술, 태도의 측면으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 대학도서관이 요구하는 사서를 양성하기 위해서 문헌정보학 교과과정은 어떻게 변화되어야 하는지 논의해보았다.
