Analysis of the Relationship between Human Risk Factors and Evacuation Behavior for Tunnel Safety (터널안전에 대한 인적위험 요소와 대피행동 간의 관계분석)

  • The purpose of this research was to analyze the relationship between human risk factors and evacuation behavior stages for tunnel safety. Therefore, we conducted a survey using a structured questionnaire on the relationship between safety facilities and safety behavior in order to derive an optimized interaction between the two. The research subjects were 141 tunnel users who understand the tunnel environment. The survey period was from June 24, 2018, to September 28, 2018. As data analysis methods, we employed a frequency analysis, a multiple regression analysis, and an independent-sample t-test. In the analysis of the correlation between the human risk factors and the major variables of evacuation behavior, the evacuation phases 1, 2, and 3 were all correlated with acceleration and delay, and the human risk factors were partially correlated. In the multiple regression analysis, the will to comply with laws (${\beta}=0.188$, p=0.034) and information recognition within the tunnel (${\beta}=0.220$, p=0.009) were factors that influence the relationship between human risk factors and evacuation behavior, indicating 12% explanatory power of the impact of human risk factors for the acceleration of evacuation behavior 3. The important variables between human risk factors and evacuation behavior were compliance with laws and information recognition in tunnels. Hence, it is necessary to study the elements that interact with the environment in the tunnel.

Factors Affecting Potential Disaster Damage and Perceptible Stress Influencing Evacuation Behavior (재난피해가능성불안 및 지각된 스트레스가 대피행동에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the present study was to identify factors affecting anxiety about disaster damage potential in Gyonggi-do and evacuation behavior that influences evacuation behavior. Method: Multiple regression analysis was performed to test the hypothesis and to analyze the influence of anxiety about disaster damage potential and perceived stress, and analyzed similarity in correspondence between age and anxiety about disaster damage potential. Results: The anxiety about disaster damage potential of a group vulnerable to safety and anxiety about disaster damage potential of disaster system collapse were perceived in close proximity. Disaster system collapse, evacuation life, and natural disasters were found to be factors affecting perceived stress. Stress and natural disasters were found to be influencing factors on evacuation behavior. Conclusion: The necessity of managing stress was confirmed since anxiety about natural disaster damage potential and stress affect evacuation behavior. The recent experiences of heavy rain disasters indicate that the anxiety about disaster damage potential is expected to increase. The findings also indicate the importance of preventive planning and psychological management to manage the anxiety about disaster damage potential.

  • There has been a lot of research on the creation of emergency evacuation simulators for analyzing the evacuation behaviors. However, it is remarkable that there are very few research on the characteristic of the behavior pattern in crowing, especially the evacuation time delay caused by the collisions and falling-downs, etc. In addition, it is necessary to point out the lack of the research on specifying the location where the collisions and the falling-downs take places. This research aims at creating an emergency evacuation simulator which takes the characteristic of the behavior pattern in crowing - collisions, falling downs, etc - into account. We are also hoping that it will be possible to provide more accurate and useful data ffr emergency evacuation system design through using this simulator.

  • 도림천 유역은 4개 자치구(관악, 구로, 동작, 영등포)에서 관리하고 있으며, 강우 발생 시 침수취약지역 맞춤형 행동 매뉴얼을 통해 운영된다. 그러나 여름철 집중강우 발생 시에는 도달시간이 짧고 수위가 급격히 상승하는 유역의 특성으로 하천 내 고립사고가 빈번히 발생하고 있다. 최근 10년('11년~'20년)간의 조사결과에 따르면 도림천 중·하류 구간에서 발생한 고립사고는 총 27회로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 도림천 유역을 대상으로 도시홍수 예·경보 전달시설, 진입차단 시설, 그리고 고립 시 대피시설의 설치현황을 살펴보고 도시하천에 적합한 재난대피시설 운영 및 설치방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이는 짧은 시간에 수위가 급변하는 도시하천의 고립사고 최소화와 더불어 신속하고 안전한 하천시설운영 및 자치구 통합 맞춤형 행동 매뉴얼 개선에 기여하고자 한다.

  • 전 세계적으로 돌발적인 인공 재해로 인해 많은 인명 피해가 발생하고 있다. 이러한 재해는 발 빠른 대피가 중요하며 신속한 대피를 위해서는 재해 발생 여부를 빠르게 감지해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 공공장소에서 화재, 테러 등의 재해 발생 여부를 신속하게 파악하기 위해 재난 탐지 모델을 제안하였다. 스마트 폰에 내장되어있는 가속도 센서를 이용하여 평상시 상황과 재해 발생시 인간 행동에 대한 데이터를 얻고, 제안한 LSTM 딥러닝 모델을 통해 재난 발생을 즉시 감지 할 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • 최근 고시원은 저렴한 방값을 원하는 저소득층의 서민들이 주거하는 공간으로서 불특정 다수가 사용하므로 방화의 위험성을 안고 있다. 본 조사는 이 위험성을 검토하기 위해 SIMULEX 실험을 통하여 고시원 화재시 피난행동을 간접적으로 확인 하고 대비 하는데 도움이 되고자한다. 모형실험 결과 재실자들이 1층 출구 대피시 병목현상을 보였지만 연기의 유동은 위로 상승하기 때문에 3층 재실자들의 빠른 대피가 있다면 인명피해는 없을 것으로 판단된다. 만약 이번 실험 조건이 사람들의 인지능력이 떨어지는 시간 조건을 주고 대피시간이 늦는다면 4, 5층의 재실자는 연기의 빠른 확산으로 인해 많은 인명피해가 발생할 수도 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • Currently, most small theaters in Korea are not equipped with fire escape prevention laws unlike large theaters. The small theater is a place where many people stay in a small space, which can lead to a great deal of damage in the event of a fire. Therefore, we propose an efficient evacuation method using the evacuation behavior of the crowd as a way to minimize the casualties in case of a fire in a small theater.

A Study on the External Evacuation System for Large-scale Fire of Multi-use Facilities (다중밀집시설 대형화재 외부대피 체계에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: This study aims at preparing an external evacuation system by setting up situation that may occur outside buildings in case of large-scale fire at buildings such as multiuse facilities and presenting appropriate response procedures and action instructions for evacuees and facility managers. Method: Major matters are summarized based on various situations which may occur outside in case of fire and the contents of fire manual. Necessary factors including risk alert standards in the event of fire and the role of building occupants are classified and then important issues are summarized. In addition, the definition of fire-related outside shelters and external evacuation routes are showed, and then the applicability to the shelters and the routes are reviewed for old apartments in Jung-gu among multi-dense facilities. Result: Four stages (attention, caution, alert, serious) for standards of fire risk warning are established with the results of the investigation and analysis, and guidelines for behavior for evacuees, facility owners, residents, managers are summarized and presented. In addition, the concept and role of external shelters are divided into primary to the third shelters, and matters related to the definition of each shelter and the establishment of evacuation routes are presented, and then considered them carefully. Conclusion: This study has highlighted the importance of suggesting a systematic plan to secure the safety for evacuees outside space of buildings with disorder and difficulty to control in the event of fire. Therefore, we are confident that it will be useful in making an integrated manual for inside and outside buildings.

연안 여객선용 CBT 프로그램 개발을 위한 안전 여객 대피 요소 검토

  • 연안선은 국제항해 선박에 비해 상대적으로 사고의 위험성은 높으나 이에 대응할 훈련기반이 취약하다. 본 연구에서는 연안선의 화재 및 퇴선상황에서의 승무원의 행동특성을 모델링하고 연안선 환경과 특성에 맞는 CBT용 훈련 프로그램을 개발함으로써 비상시 연안선 승무원의 사고대응 능력을 제고하고자 한다. 특히 이를 위해 연안 여객선에서 여객 대피를 위해 필요한 요소를 검토하여 개선점을 파악하여 프로그램 개발에 반영하고자 한다.

Demonstration of Disaster Information and Evacuation Support Model for the Safety Vulnerable Groups (안전취약계층을 위한 재난정보 및 대피지원 모델 실증)

  • Purpose: Since most disaster information systems are centered on non-disabled people, the reality is that there is a lack of disaster information delivery systems for the vulnerable, such as the disabled, the elderly, and children, who are relatively vulnerable to disasters. The purpose of the service is to improve the safety of the disabled and the elderly by eliminating blind spots of informatization and establishing customized disaster information services to respond to disasters through IoT-based integrated control technology. Method: The model at the core of this study is the disaster alert propagation model and evacuation support model, and it shall be developed by reflecting the behavioral characteristics of the disabled and the elderly in the event of a disaster. The disaster alert propagation model spreads disaster situations collected using IoT technology, and the evacuation support model uses geomagnetic field-based measuring technology to identify the user's indoor location and help the disabled and the elderly evacuate safely. Results: Demonstration model demonstration resulted in an efficient qualitative evaluation of indoor location accuracy, such as the suitability of evacuation route guidance and satisfaction of services from the user's perspective. Conclusion: Disaster information and evacuation support services were established for the safety vulnerable groups of mobile app for model verification. The disaster situation was demonstrated through experts in the related fields and the disabled by limiting it to the fire situation. It was evaluated as "satisfaction" in the adequacy of disaster information delivery and evacuation support, and its functional satisfaction and user UI were evaluated as "normal" due to the nature of the pilot model. Through this, the disaster information and evacuation support services presented in this study were evaluated to support the safety vulnerable groups to a faster disaster evacuation without missing the golden time of disaster evacuation.
