The study investigated the indicators for information service system performance measurement through the review on the related literatures, and developed 16 indicators for the performance measurement in 4 areas of library visit, lending, reference service and user instruction, and electronic service. And then with the indicators, the study surveyed 6 academic libraries including each 2 of large, middle, and small sized academic libraries. Based on the survey results, the study made a proposal for the application of performance indicator and the improvement of information service system performance.

This study aimed at analyzing the influence factors of the academic library on college's education and research performances. The researched subject was 144 colleges targeted for information disclosure by Center for Higher Education Information Disclosure. The conclusion of the present study is as follows. First, the educational performance in college showed the positive relation with 'library environment' variables except 'seating capacity per capita'. Second, the educational performance in college was positively related to the variable of 'library outcome' and particularly, it was directly influenced by circulation, visit, and interlibrary loan. Third, the research performance in college showed a positive correlation with 'library environment' variables except facility scale of library. Fourth, the research performance in college showed a positive relation with the variable of 'library outcome' and research performance excluding 'publication in domestic journals per capita' was positively influenced by 'document delivery services usage per capita' and 'commercial DB usage per capita' in common.

The purpose of this paper is to analyse the key factors influencing the life insurance companies's competitiveness. Various performance variables differentiate this paper other existing studies employing a single performance variable. The business activity is divided into two categories, the underwriting activity and the investment activity. Each activity produces two performance, cost and profit performance. This study analyses the factors influencing four performance variables and suggests implications enforcing the life insurance companies' competitiveness based on the analysis. The results of this study are summarized as follows. Firstly, we find a statistically significant correlation between the cost performance in the under-writing activity and other performance variables. However, there in not a statistically significant correlation between the other three performance variables, the cost performance in the investment activity, the profit performance in the under-writing activity. Secondly, it is desirable to increase the selling of protection products for enforcing the competitiveness in respect of the cost performance. Finally, it is needed to increase the ratio of loans for enforcing the competitiveness in the area of the investment activity.

The purpose of this paper is to explain the necessity of secure budget in public libraries with regard to promoting library usage. It is namely to attempt to find out if there really is a connection between library funding and library usage. For this purpose, the relevant data of all the 31 public libraries in Busan were collected from the 2013 National library Statistics of Korea. To determine the connection between library funding and usage, two variables were selected, 'TFI (Total Funding Indicator) = $\sqrt{personnelcosts{\times}materialcosts}$' for independent variable and 'LU (Library Usage) = (visits per year) + (loans per year)/number of inhabitants' for dependent variable. The results showed that there is a clear relationship between TFI and LU and If more cost is spent on personal resources and material resources, the total usage of the public library also increase. The findings are limited due to the fact that the observation was focusing on public libraries in one community and the period of observation was one year in 2013.

As China has achieved continuous high growth, innovative housing system and rapid growth of housing finance for thirty years since its reforming and opening, Chinese real estate industry has developed rapidly, investment in real estate has increased remarkably and price of real estate has increased continuously. In particular, as China joined WTO in 2001, overseas companies have expanded investment in Chinese real estate market with chances of potential profit. Recently, management of foreign capital real estate companies has expanded from housing to office buildings and luxury shops. Besides, management has expanded from real estate development to various tasks such as management, brokerage service, lease management and financial investment. In order to measure relationship between FDI in Chinese real estate and Chinese housing price, this document utilizes not only various data such as housing price, FDI to real estate, domestic loan of real estate, interest rate and exchange rate in 35 major cities across China but also previous researches to set an empirical analysis model and analyze effects of foreigners' direct investment in Chinese real estate on Chinese housing price.

This study investigates ethical dilemmas of teacher-librarians in their professional practice. Within the framework of "Librarians' Statement of Ethics" by Korean Library Association, the study used the survey and semi-structured interview with teacher-librarians. 259 teacher-librarians responded the survey and 5 teacher-librarians participated the interview. The survey was analyzed using descriptive statistics to find how often teacher-librarians experience ethical dilemmas. The semi-structured interview was transcribed and analyzed to draw the individual cases of teacher-librarians' ethical dilemmas. The results indicate that teacher-librarians experience ethical dilemmas in relation to information access and intellectual freedom most often. It was difficult for teacher-librarians to relate their professional duties with their expertise and that they were not clear on how to avoid copyright issues and how to deal with the balance between users and copyright holders. This study had implications that individual dilemma cases are so context-dependent that teacher-librarians had to make decisions individually. They tried hard to find the balance between protecting students from harmful resources and library ethics. Researchers and practitioners need focus more on finding where the balance is and how teacher-librarians deal with their ethical dilemmas.

The purpose of this study is to propose a book recommendation system that can be used in school libraries. The book recommendation system applies an algorithm based on association rules using DLS lending data and is designed to provide personalized book recommendation services to school library users. For this purpose, association rules based on the Apriori algorithm and betweenness centrality analysis were applied and detailed functions such as descriptive statistics, generation of association rules, student-centered recommendation, and book-centered recommendation were materialized. Subsequently, opinions on the use of the book recommendation system were investigated through in-depth interviews with teacher librarians. As a result of the investigation, opinions on the necessity and difficulty of book recommendation, student responses, differences from existing recommendation methods, utilization methods, and improvements were confirmed and based on this, the following discussions were proposed. First, it is necessary to provide long-term lending data to understand the characteristics of each school. Second, it is necessary to discuss the data integration plan by region or school characteristics. Third, It is necessary to establish a book recommendation system provided by the Comprehensive Support System for Reading Education. Based on the contents proposed in this study, it is expected that various discussions will be made on the application of a personalization recommendation system that can be used in the school library in the future.

The numbers of population, areas, possessions, employees, operational budget, users, and circulated books in Korea Library Yearbook were collected for the purpose of analyzing the status of information disparity through libraries among four large regional groups in Korea in this paper. They were the main indicators of four types of libraries such as public, academic, special, and school ones. The collected data were classified into four regional groups, and were analyzed by using the comparisons of means such as t-test and ANOVA, and correlation coefficient if there is any significant differences among them or not.

This study is an empirical analysis of the major factors influencing the globalization level of Chinese public enterprises. Based on previous research, we conducted a regression analysis using the transnational index as a dependent variable and export tax refund, exchange rate, human resources, innovation ability, asset management ability, loan ability, corporate development stage, global deployment ability, etc. as independent variables. As a result of the empirical analysis of this study, it was found that export refund (E_tax) and exchange rate (E_rate) have a statistically significant effect on the external influencing factors of globalization. Human resource capabilities (Edu, O_hunan), innovation capability (R&D), and financing capability (Finance) were found to be important internal influencing factors for the globalization of public enterprises. The role of the government in establishing the strategy of SOEs should be maintained at the level of guidance and it should provide guidance so that the autonomy of SOEs is not restricted as the role of the government is separated from the government's compulsory management and supervisory functions, leading to excessively compulsory management.

This study analysed the characteristics of residential mobility according to the household's life-cycle to observe the housing filtering process in Busan. The questionary subjects were adult 40 and over who inhabited in Busan and surveyed residential career about residential mobility. The analysis result of statistical data and result of questionary reveals similar result every articles, the summaries are as follows : Examining housing where the respondent live presently, apartment dominate absolutely high ratio as housing type and owner-occupation as housing tenure type, and housing size is about 30 pyeong, dwelling period is 6 years to 10 years. Saving and loan hold a large majority to make housing capital, that means, they apply housing finance to getting own housing despite it is impossible with present household's income to have owner-occupation of desired housing. This is different custom ours from foreign's that rent a house. However, as aspect of residential satisfaction, most household recognised that quality is improved, because residential mobility expanded housing size and changed tenure type and showed fairly high satisfaction with their present resident.
