Green logistics is regarded as an inevitable global trend in the 21st century. It can be accomplished through more broad and active reverse logistics globally, resulting in use of less fossil fuels, finally reducing carbon dioxide and other pollutants. Many countries such as U.S., Japan, EU nations have already set up policies related to carbon reduction, so-called 'green policies.' This paper aims to identify evaluation criteria for logistics policies and relative importance among those criteria, especially in the field of ports and in-land hub terminals. We examined projects related to carbon reduction from domestic and foreign ports and logistics centers and found evaluation factors and assessment indicators. With pre-evaluative items and pre-assessment indicators, we have done a survey and selected evaluation factors and assessment indicators for ports and inland hub terminals in Korea. By analyzing the mutual importance of each pre-evaluative items and pre-assessment indicators related to carbon reduction policies, this research provides guidelines on selecting the key items for the propulsion of carbon reduction projects. This study shows the importance of preliminary evaluation items and indexes with AHP in evaluating carbon reduction policies and the result shows the restrictions and change in transportation and use of alternative fuels. Lastly, it provides a guideline to policy-makers and firm managers in the field of green logistics.

To enhance its efficiency to improve organizations' competitiveness, performance evaluation is vital and it influences budget, policies, and human resource affairs of the organizations. The study aims to develop performance indicators for National Library of Korea (NLK) and evaluate performance based on indicators driven. As a result, the study develops 2 viewpoints for each work area of NLK - management of information system, digital resources enlargement, and the cooperative utilization system for alternative materials. It also develops total 12 indicators. Based on the evaluation;the research finally suggests strategies for performance improvement by viewpoints for NLK.

우리나라의 경우 매년 인구증가와 도시화로 인한 용수부족으로 국지적인 제한 급수를 실시하는 등 점차 물 문제가 중요한 사회 문제로 떠오르고 있는 가운데 새로운 대체 용수원의 개발이 시급하게 대두되어지고 있다. 이 가운데 지하댐(Ground-Water Dam) 건설에 의한 지하수 자원의 개발이 제안되고 있다. 수자원의 계절적 편중에 의한 수자원 최적화 활용을 위해 지하댐 최적 운용기법의 개발이 필요한데 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 지하댐 운영지표(Groundwater Dam Operating Index, G.O.I)를 제안하였다. 이를 위해 쌍천 유역의 수문학적 자료와 강수의 경향, 지하수위 그리고 지하댐 운영 자료를 이용하여 강수와 지하수위 상관관계를 비교 분석하였다. 분석한 결과 일강우량 90일 이동평균의 대수값이 지하수위 변동특성과 가장 높은 상관도를 보였다. 이 결과 값을 G.O.I 로 정의 하였으며 G.O.I 지표가 1보다 작은 구간과 지하댐 운영시 제한급수가 실시되었던 구간이 거의 일치하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 G.O.I 를 이용한 지하댐 실시간 의사결정 시스템 구성이 가능할 것으로 판단하였다.

As increasing social needs of pavement maintenance, pattern frame method has been constructed in Korea. The pattern frame not only increases the skid resistance of pavements but also improve the scenery. However, construction of the pattern frame currently relies on imported materials. In this paper, we localize the materials used in pattern frame and conduct performance verification on them. The important performance indicators are the adhesion strength of undercoating materials and the skid resistance of finished pattern frames. The adhesion strength was targeted at 1.4MPa, and the localization alternative material met the target performance with 2.35MPa, the skid resistance performance was targeted at 40BPN, and the localization alternative material met the target performance with 75BPN. In the case of localized materials, approximately 40% cost reduction (per 1m²)compared to imported materials was confirmed.

This study aimed to evaluate the possibility for assessment of binocular visual function about alteration for near point of convergence (NPC). Study subjects were total 30 (emmetropia 16, myopia 14), who had no eye disease except for the phoria and monocular corrected vision 1.0 and over. Near point of accommodation (NPA), NPC and phoria test were measured both at ordinary and stimulation of +1D. Ordinary NPC was 1.77cm shorter than NPC stimulated +1D and the NPC of emmetropia was shorter than that of myopia. The difference between NPC stimulated +1D and ordinary were increased in the emmetropia. As the NPC increased, the AC/A ratio was elevated and the feature of near exophoria appeared. The results suggested that the alteration of NPC might substitute AC/A ratio for reference variable of binocular vision. If converged and analyzed comparatively with another binocular visual evaluation test, the alteration of NPC could be developed for substitution of evaluation test.

The purpose of this study is to establish evaluation model that can explain marginal effects of baseball players of Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) on their team winnings in terms of productivity. We proposed econometric model with using variables that are provided from official homepage of KBO to overcome the complexity of mainly used productivity index: wins above replacement (WAR). Also, compare to the previous studies such as Scully(1974) or Krautmann(1999) that using limited indices of baseball stats, this study included 61 indices that are provided from official homepage of KBO. We estimated regression based WAR(RBWAR) by conducting panel regression with each team's statistics data of 2002 to 2014. As a results, RBWAR shows 0.869 correlation coefficient for batters and 0.882 for pitchers with WAR in 2014 that can be concluded that two indices shows similar results. From the results of estimation, we analyze the relationship between productivity and actual contract of free agent players in 2015 and it showed that teams have contracted reasonably.

Patent information search is used for checking existence of earlier works. In patent information search, there are many reasons that fails to get appropriate information. This research proposes a method extracting alternative word candidates in order to minimize search failure due to keyword mismatch. Assuming that two words have similar meaning if they have similar co-occurrence words, the proposed method uses the concept of concentration, association word set, cosine similarity between association word sets and a ranking modification technique. Performance of the proposed method is evaluated using a manually extracted alternative word candidate list. Evaluation results show that the proposed method outperforms the document vector space model in recall.

Green management is, as the response to climate changes emerges to a global issue, a concept which reduction of greenhouse gases, alternative energy development and other low-carbon green growth factors are added on the existing environmental management. Also as discussions on the performance measurement of firms' domestic and international green managements proliferate and the importance of understanding, analyzing and evaluating firms' environmental maintenance rises, variety forms of green management performance measurement indicators are being developed and practiced. However, specific implementation methodologies about green management have been lacking. Hence in this research, In order to have objective evaluations on firms' green managements through the proposed indicator, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) and experts' survey on weight dependence were applied. Sustainability reports and other associated documents of ten major oil/ chemical corporations of in and out of the country were analyzed and corporations were evaluated and compared through weight differentiated indicator subsections.

It is not easy to predict the return on investment in the content business, and there is no index to evaluate cast & crew. The absolute number of TV ratings is steadily declining, but there is no substitute index yet. In this study, we tried to predict the relative popularity of the drama by designing the relative superiority of the individual drama viewership as the response variable and designing the relative superiority of the drama participants as the explanatory variables. We used various machine learning algorithms and added explanatory variables that were found to be useful in previous studies. As a result, with properly combined explanatory variables, a high prediction accuracy of 84% is obtained. In this study, we intend to promote the investment efficiency of the entire contents industry by predicting the relative popularity of the contents.
