Analysis of Genetic Variation Among Popcorn Inbred Lines by SSR Markers (튀김용 옥수수 자식계통들에 대한 유전적 변이성)

  • Knowledge of genetic diversity and genetic relationships among inbred lines gives a significant impact on the selection of parental lines for hybrid maize varieties. Genetic diversity and genetic relationships among 86 popcorn inbred lines were analyzed using 50 SSR markers distributed over the whole genome. A total of 256 alleles were identified at all the SSR loci with an average of 5.1 and a range between two and sixteen per locus. The gene diversity values varied from 0.21 to 0.831 with an average of 0.579. The cluster tree generated using the described SSR markers recognized three major groups at 35.8% genetic similarity. Groups I, II, III respectively included 40, 39 and 7 inbred lines. The present study indicates that the SSR markers chosen for this analysis are effective for the assessment of genetic diversity and genetic relationships among 86 popcorn inbred lines in Korea.

Design and Fabrication of Flexible OTFTs by using Nanocantact Printing Process (미세접촉프린팅 공정을 이용한 유연성 유기박막소자(OTFT)설계 및 제작)

  • In general, organic TFTs are comprised of four components: gate electrode, gate dielectric, organic active semiconductor layer, and source and drain contacts. The TFT current, in turn, is typically determined by channel length and width, carrier field effect mobility, gate dielectric thickness and permittivity, contact resistance, and biasing conditions. More recently, a number of techniques and processes have been introduced to the fabrication of OTFT circuits and displays that aim specifically at reduced fabrication cost. These include microcontact printing for the patterning of metals and dielectrics, the use of photochemically patterned insulating and conducting films, and inkjet printing for the selective deposition of contacts and interconnect pattern. In the fabrication of organic TFTs, microcontact printing has been used to pattern gate electrodes, gate dielectrics, and source and drain contacts with sufficient yield to allow the fabrication of transistors. We were fabricated a pentacene OTFTs on flexible PEN film. Au/Cr was used for the gate electrode, parylene-c was deposited as the gate dielectric, and Au/Cr was chosen for the source and drain contacts; were all deposited by ion-beam sputtering and patterned by microcontact printing and lift-off process. Prior to the deposition of the organic active layer, the gate dielectric surface was treated with octadecyltrichlorosilane(OTS) from the vapor phase. To complete the device, pentacene was deposited by thermal evaporation and patterned using a parylene-c layer. The device was shown that the carrier field effect mobility, the threshold voltage, the subthreshold slope, and the on/off current ratio were improved.

  • The deep-sea mining system is generally composed of surface vessel, lifting system, buffer, flexible pipe and miner. The mining system can be regarded as a large-scale system in which each subsystem is interconnected to other ones. In order to control a large-scale system, decentralized control approaches have been proposed recently. In this paper, as a basic study on application of decentralized control, firstly, the mining system was modeled in a simplified way. Lifting system and buffer were regarded as a spherical pendulum and the flexible pipe was taken as a two-dimensional linear spring connection. Based on the simplified model dynamics, the mining system can be decentralized two subsystems, the one consisting of surface vessel, lifting system and buffer, and the other, the miner. Next, this paper proposed the design of controller for each decentralized subsystem by regarding the interacting terms as disturbances. The controllers kept the constant distance between two subsystems during the miner was moving on the specified track. Finally, the efficiency of proposed controller was proven through the numerical simulation of the derived model.

Focus Control for Multi-Focal Projection onto Nonplanar Surface (곡면 전초점 투사를 위한 멀티 프로젝터 초점제어)

  • 일반적으로 프로젝터는 심도(depth of field)가 제한되어 있기 때문에 스크린이 곡면일 경우, 일부 영역에서는 초점이 맞지 않게(out-of-focus) 된다. 이런 out-of-focus 영역의 정보는 블러링(blurring)되기 때문에 사용자에게 정확한 정보를 전달할 수 없다. 여러 대의 프로젝터를 이용할 경우, 각 프로젝터는 다른 in-focus 영역을 가지기 때문에 각 프로젝터 픽셀의 in-focus/out-of-focus 판별을 통해 in-focus 픽셀만을 투사함으로써, out-of-focus 픽셀의 영향을 제거할 수 있다. 그러나 여러 대의 프로젝터의 in-focus영역이 거의 일치할 경우, out-of-focus영역은 여전히 out-of-focus상태일 수 밖에 없다. 따라서, 각 프로젝터의 초점을 유연하게 조절하면서 동시에 여러 대의 프로젝터에 의한 in-focus 영역을 최대한 크게 할 수 있는 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 각 프로젝터의 초점을 유동적으로 조절하면서 취득된 영상을 처리하여 in-focus 영역을 판별하고 각 프로젝터에 대한 in-focus 영역을 조합하여 전체in-focus 영역의 면적을 최대화하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법의 유용성을 검증하기 위해, 각 프로젝터의 in-focus 영역을 적절한 컬러를 이용해 시각적으로 표현해주고 이 정보를 참조해 각 프로젝터의 초점을 유동적으로 조절하여 전초점 영상을 만들어내는 시스템을 구현하였다.

The North Korean Female Refugees' Personality and Psychological Adaptation (여성 새터민의 성격유형에 따른 심리적응)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the types of personality of North Korean female refugees, which were extracted from the T-scores of SPFQ(scales of the Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire) and psychological adaptation. For this, The data of 158 North Korean female refugees located in Seoul Yangchun-Gu and Gayang-Gu was analyzed. The results were as follows. Firstly, the ratio of over 65T in ego-strength, self-control, social-boldness, anxiety scales and under 34T in abstractedness and openness to change scales was higher than in other scales. Secondly, there were statistically significant differences in personality characteristics based on the demographic variables especially age and the term of residence in South Korea. Thirdly, three distinct groups were extracted from the K-means cluster analysis. The first group was characterized with emotional-unstability and negative emotionality. And the North Korean female refugees in the second group hesitated to enter into and maintain proper relationships with south korean, while they were unlikely to accept norms and rules in South Korea. The third group, characterized by higher emotional stability, ego-strength, and agreeableness, was met normal range in all the scale of SPFQ. Finally, each three groups were showed statistically significant differences in psychological adaptation scales(self-identity and resilience). We expected that these results contributed to explore the psychological and the political plans for North Korean female refugees' settlement in South Korea.

Electrical and optical properties of back reflecting layer with AZO-Ag bilayer structure on a glass substrate for thin film Si solar cell applications (박막 Si태양전지 응용을 위한 유리기판 위의 AZO-Ag 이중구조 배면전극의 전기광학적 특성)

  • 현재 박막형 태양전지는 실리콘계가 주류를 이루고 있으며, 유리기판 또는 유연성 기판에 비정질 실리콘 박막을 형성시킨 태양전지와 실리콘 기판 양면에 태양전지를 형성하는 방법 등 효율을 극대화시킨 이종접합 태양전지 등이 연구되고 있다. 예컨대 밴드갭이 서로 다른 박막들 간의 이종접합을 이용한 tandem 구조 및 triple 구조의 Si 박막 태양전지의 경우 13%대 변환효율을 나타낸다고 보고된 바 있다. 본 연구에서는 비정질 Si 박막 태양전지 내 흡수층의 효율을 최대화하기 위하여 AZO/Ag 이중구조 박막의 특성에 관한 연구를 수행하고자 한다. combinatorial sputtering system을 이용하여 AZO/Ag 이중구조 박막을 제작하였으며 타겟으로는 4-inch target(Ag, 2wt% Al2O3 doped ZnO)이 사용되었다. 유리기판 상에 combinatorial sputter system으로 상온에서 제작된 Ag 박막의 두께는 25nm로 성장시켰으며 연속공정으로 AZO 박막을 제작하였고, AZO 박막은 100~500nm의 두께경사를 나타내었다. 이 때 유리기판상에 성장된 Ag/AZO 박막의 면저항은 약 $2{\Omega}/{\Box}$ 값을 나타내었다. 본 발표에서는 AZO/Ag 이중 구조 박막의 우수한 전기적 특성을 기반으로 표면 거칠기 및 반사도 특성 등에 관하여 추가적으로 토론한다.

The Impact of Servitization on Firm Value : Focused on Fortune 500 Company's Alliance Announcement (서비스화(Servitization)가 기업의 시장가치에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 : 포춘 500대 기업의 제휴공시를 중심으로)

  • In this research, we have investigated the impact of servitization on firm value focused on Fortune 500 company's alliance announcement. The Firms are categorized to understand the impact of servitization and productization. The data includes Fortune 500 companies (2009, USA). Samples used for the hypothesis tests consist of 1,057 American companies that are opened on NYSE and NASDAQ, for the years 1990 through 2010. We test four research hypotheses based upon the various theoretical perspectives in servitization. The market is selective in reacting to alliance category; service company ${\rightarrow}$ manufacturing company, service company ${\rightarrow}$ service company. The findings show that alliance is significant between service company and manufacturing company. Also, the result shows significant relationship inter-service company's alliance. We have a significant relationship between company's alliance announcement and the market value of firms and shows significant AR in financial performance. Finally, this study presents implications for manufacturing companies that pursue service-led expansion as a strategic approach and are seeking to improve market value through alliance, partnership and cooperation. Continual effort must be placed to sustain market value of the firms.

Multichannel optical transmission-filters based on one-dimensional photonic crystals (일차원 광자결정을 이용한 다중채널 광-투과필터)

  • 파장다중분할 방식의 광통신소자는 단일파장 뿐만 아니라 이웃하는 여러 파장대에서도 동작 할 수 있는 유연성을 갖는 소자가 요구된다. 이를 해결하는 하나의 방법이 파장제어(다중채널)광자결정(Photonic crystal)소자이다. 본 연구에서는 결함층으로 광자결정체 배열구조를 가지는 다중주기 일차원광자결정을 이용하므로 투과광 파장제어가 가능한 가변형 다중채널 투과필터를 얻을 수 있는 이론적 모델과 그에 따라 제작된 $Si/SI_)2$의 광자결정체를 제작하고 그 특성을 고찰하였다. 반사밴드 갭내에 생성된 다중투과-dip의 파장 위치는 이론값과 정착하게 일치하였다. 특히, 결함층 수(N)에 따라 광자 에너지갭내에 2N개의 투과-dip 모드를 생성할 수 있으며, 이들은 주파수범위에 대해 대칭 분포됨을 알 수 있다. 여기에 제안하는 다중채널 투과필터는 외부 전원 없이 입사각도를 미세 조절하므로 파장을 tuning할 수 있다.

The Relationship between Sports-Readership and Happiness in Perceived by University Athletes (대학선수들이 지각하는 스포츠 지도력과 행복감의 관계)

  • This study was an investigation of 379 people to analyze the relations between leadership and happiness recognized by university athletes. First, happiness of university athletes showed the highest score in smooth relationship with parents. And male athletes score higher than female athletes. Second, the sub-factors of achievement and self-acceptance of happiness have significantly correlated with all factors of leadership. In particular, self-improvement, goal-seeking, and influence are most highly correlated. And the religious influence was the lowest correlation. Third, achievement orientation of leadership factors affect all sub-factors of happiness and influence, and self-regulation has an effect to sub-factors of happiness. Fourth, flexible leadership, interpersonal understanding, teamwork and cooperation, orientation did not affect happiness.

The Influence of Muscle Strengthening Exercise and Stretching Exercise of Trunk Extensor Muscles on Muscular Strength and Flexibility in Adolescent of the Twenties (체간신전근의 근력강화운동과 신장운동이 20대 청소년의 근력 및 유연성에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to examine the Influence of muscle strengthening exercise and stretching exercise of trunk extensor muscles on muscular strength and flexibility in adolescent of the twenties. Methods : Muscle strengthening exercise group(n=10), stretching exercise group(n=10) and strengthening and stretching exercise group(n=10) were measured muscular strength by digital back and leg dynamometer and flexibility by sit and reach test and trunk extension test at pre-intervention and post-intervention in 4weeks. Results : The flexibility 1, flexibility 2 and muscular strength of muscle strengthening exercise group were significantly increased within the intervention period(p<.05). The flexibility 2 and muscular strength of stretching exercise group were significantly increased within the intervention period(p<.05). but flexibility 1 was not significantly different at in 4 weeks(p>.05). The flexibility 1, flexibility 2 and muscular strength of muscle strengthening and stretching exercise group were significantly increased within the intervention period(p<.05). Conclusion : We were found that muscle strengthening exercise and stretching exercise of trunk extensor muscles could improve muscular strength and flexibility for adolescent of the twenties.
