Video Object Segmentation (VOS) task requires an amount of labeled sequence data, which limits the performance of the current VOS methods trained with public datasets. In this paper, we propose two effective data augmentation schemes for VOS. The first augmentation method is to swap the background segment to the background from another image, and the other method is to play the sequence in reverse. The two augmentation schemes for VOS enable the current VOS methods to robustly predict the segmentation labels and improve the performance of VOS.

As the architecture of automotive software is complicated and LOC of software increases, there is an increasing demand for standard operating system. OSEK/VDX defines an industry standard for automotive operating system and middleware. This paper introduces an implementation of RTOS(OSCAR-OSEK) based on OSEK/VDX standard. For better speed of scheduling, we suggest a new method for ready queue implementation considering the characteristic of automotive application software. Also we introduce a method for improving the portability of RTOS on various MCUs. And, we show OSCAR-OSEK implementation and performance test results.

In this paper, we describe the structural reinforcement approach of the throwing-type firefighter assistance robot which can be thrown into a fire site to monitor inside the place and search trapped people while ensuring a firefighter's safety. The reinforcement design is focused on high strength with low weight for the robot. The in-depth structural analysis of the platform is carried out to track down the weakest part, especially with the 1.8m height of drop test. The analysis is verified by comparing with the 1.8m height of the drop test of the throwing-type firefighter assistance robot. The optimal approach for improving the strength of the weakest part aims at topological equivalent and equivalently stress distributed shape.

The mechanism of nucleophilic displacement was studied by using three variable systems of ${\rho}_X,\; {\rho}_Y,\; and {\rho}_Z$ obtained from the change of substituent X, Y, and Z for the reaction of (Z)-substituted benzyl (X)-benzensulfonates with (Y)-substituted thiobenzamides in acetone at 45 ℃. The results ${\rho}_Z$<0 and ${\rho}_YZ$>${\rho}_XZ$ indicate that this reaction series proceeded via a dissociative $S_N2$ mechanism. The prediction of the movement of TS by using the sign of ${\rho}_XZ{\cdot}{\rho}_{YZ}$ accorded with the Hammond postulate.
