단일설비 생산체제에서 부품의 일정계획에 관한 발견적 기법 (A Heuristic for Scheduling Production of Components at a Single Facility)

  • We consider a single-machine scheduling problem dealing with the manufacture of components for subsequent assembly into end products. Each product requires both unique components and common components, and each production requires a setup. By making some assumptions on the data and the availability of the components for assembly, Baker provides on efficient dynamic programming algorithm for obtaining the optimal schedule. In this paper we do not impose any requirement on the data, and we solve the more complicated batching and sequencing problem. We suggest a simple heuristic method that is efficient and finds solutions that are optimal or close to the optimal solution.

가격할인이 있는 단일품목 동적 재고모델의 발주정책을 위한 발견적 기법 (A Heuristic Method for Ordering in the Dynamic Inventory System with Quantity Discounts)

  • This paper presents a heuristic method for solving the discrete-time ordering problem with quantity discounts and deterministic, time-varying demand. This algorithm utilizes a variation of the incremental cost approach(ICA) to determine a near optimal solution. The ICA is the method which reduces the total cost with reduction of the number of orders by one. In order to reduce the number of orders, if the incremental cost for one of the periods is negative, the demand of the period should be purchased in its immediate preceding period. In order to test the performance of this algorithm, an experiment is conducted that involves a large number of test problems covering a wide variety of situations. The result of the experiment shows that the proposed algorithm has 80.5% better solutions than the adjusted part period algorithm(APPA), which is known to be the best heuristic method.

  • Block stacking, which involves the storage of unit loads in stacks within storage rows, is typically used in traditional warehouses to achieve a high space utilization at a low investment cost. In this paper, assuming that the demand size from a customer is an i.i.d. random variable, we develop a probabilistic block stacking storage model and its algorithm for a singles product, which minimizes the time-overage floor space requirement under an (s, S) inventory policy and the violation of the FIFO lot rotation rule only in a single partially-occupied row.

  • Many firms are trying to optimize their production and distribution functions separately, but possible savings by this approach may be limited. Nowadays, it is more important to analyze these two functions simultaneously by trading off the costs associated with the whole. In this paper, I treat a production and distribution planning problem for single-period inventory products comprised of a single production facility and multiple customers, with the aim of optimally coordinating important and interrelated decisions of production sequencing and vehicle routing. Then, I propose a hybrid genetic algorithm incorporating several local optimization techniques, HGAP, for integrated production-distribution planning. Computational results on test problems show that HGAP is effective and generates substantial cost savings over Hurter and Buer's decoupled planning approach in which vehicle routing is first developed and a production sequence is consequently derived. Especially, HGAP performs better on the problems where customers are dispersed with multi-item demand than on the problems where customers are divided into several zones based on single-item demand.

  • In this paper, two types of linear actuation methods for the previously proposed adaptive gripper are presented, which includes actual parallelogram inside a five-bar mechanism and has the advantages of smaller actuation torque and larger stroke over the commercial adaptive gripper by RobotiQ. The forward/inverse kinematics and statics analyses for two types of linear actuations are derived. From the inverse kinematics and statics analyses, linear actuation type I is selected and the gripper prototype is designed.

  • Scheduling problems which determine the sequence of jobs are one of the Important issues to many industries. This paper deals with a single-machine job sequencing problem which has complex constraints and an objective function. To solve the problem, an expressive constraint description language and an automatic code generator are developed for our scheduling system. The user just needs to describe the scheduling problem using the constraint description language that allows to express both quantitative and qualitative constraints as well as an objective function in real world semantics. Then, a complete scheduling program based on constraint satisfaction technique is automatically generated through the code generator. Advantage of this approach is that models of the scheduling problems are easily developed and maintained because models ore formulated by using the language which reflects real world semantics.

  • Novelty detection (ND) is an effective technique that can be used to determine whether a future observation is normal or not. In the present study we propose a novelty detection algorithm that can handle a situation where the distributions of target (normal) observations are inhomogeneous. A simulation study and a real case with the TFT-LCD process demonstrated the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed algorithm.

  • 본 논문에서는 단일 웹 또는 웹 페이지간의 동적으로 커스터마이스가 가능한 시각정보를 어떻게 구성할 것인가에 대해 논하며 이 같은 동적 정보를 구성하기 위해 객체지향 데이터 베이스와 웹과의 통합 아키텍처를 제시한다. 웹 상에서 사용자 또는 시간에 따라 상이한 웹 뷰를 가진다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 구조적 변수와 구현 쟁점에 대해 논한다. 제시한 아키텍처는 소프트웨어 개발 환경과 IO-웹 시스템 등의 다양한 응용 영역에 매우 높은 융통성을 제공한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 시불변 전송 채널 및 주파수 선택성 페이딩 채널에서 최소 제곱 평균 알고리즘과 순차적 최소 제곱 알고리즘에 선형 탭 지연선 구조를 도입하여 보상 알고리즘의 제곱 평균 에러 특성을 고찰하였다. 또한 기존의 방식에서 사용하는 단일 탭 갱신 알고리즘과 본 논문에서 제안한 다중 탭 갱신 알고리즘을 비교, 분석하고 이를 수렴 특성 관점에서 고찰하였다.

  • 기존의 전력산업은 전력에너지 단일 품목에 의한 공급자 중심의 서비스체제를 유지해왔으나, 전력산업의 환경변화에 따라 소비자의 역할과 요구가 증대되고 있다. 또한 인터넷에 기반한 정보기술의 발전은 서비스 수용자로서의 전력소비자의 역할을 가격 결정권과 서비스 공급자 선택권을 갖는 시장 참여자로서의 역할로 변모시키고 있을 뿐 아니라 전력서비스 이외의 다양한 부가서비스의 제공을 요구하는 멀티서비스 구매자로까지 확대시키고 있다. 하지만 이러한 소비자의 역할이 현실화되기 위해서는 전력시스템과 소비자 전력기기간 양방향 통신을 기반으로한 멀티서비스 플랫폼의 구현이 필수적이다. 본 논문은 전력소비자의 멀티서비스를 위한 두 가지 모델을 제시하고 비교 분석하였다.
