Energy Performance and Operating Cost Assessment for Implementing Green Remodeling Technologies in a Detached House (단독주택 건물 그린리모델링에 따른 건물 에너지 성능과 운전비용 절감 효과 평가)

  • The Government the Republic of Korea is showing a lot of interest in net zero-energy buildings (NZEBs) to reduce energy consumption of buildings and to promote green growth policy in construction sector. The application of building passive technologies and renewable energies is essential to achieving NZEBs. Green remodeling reinforced the insulation of the exterior walls and roofs of the buildings and replaced high-efficiency windows and doors. In this study, the energy performance before and after green remodeling applied in a detached house was comparatively analyzed for baseline scenario and three different ones, ALT 1, ALT 2 and ALT 3. A building modeling and simulation software (DesignBuilder V7.0) with EnergyPlus (V9.4) calculation engine was used to calculate the energy demand and energy consumption for each scenario. Based on the calculation results of the building's energy demand for baseline, it was determined that the target building required more heating energy than cooling energy. The simulation results also showed that the implementation of building envelope performance improvement technologies (ALT 1) could notably decrease the heating energy consumption of the building. After the remodeling (ALT 1), the source energy consumption per unit floor area was assessed to be reduced by 65.2%, compared to prior remodeling of 338.7 kWh/m2 -y. Meanwhile, ALT 2 can achieve energy savings of 67.7% and ALT 3 can achieve savings of 73.1%. Following completion of the remodeling project, actual construction costs, and on-site measurements and verification results will be gathered and compared with the simulation results. Additionally, economic analysis including construction costs and payback period will be conducted using actual site data.

  • Hydraulic performance test was conducted for a fuel pump of a liquid rocket engine turbopump. The pump driven by an electric motor was tested in water environment. It is experimentally shown that the inducer had very small effect on the pimp's head and efficiency but great effect on the pump's cavitation performance. Additionally, inducer test was carried out to investigate the effect of the inducer on the pump in detail, and it was found that the pump had a critical cavitation number when the inducer head dropped by $55\%$.

  • Broadband power line communications have been receiving tremendous interest In recent years because this technology enables utilities to deploy a communication network over existing power line infrastructures. Despite the enormous potential, there is some skepticism about the technology and its commercial viability. In this paper, we investigate the performance characteristic of PLC through field test carried out in actual households. Also it addresses major field deployment aspects, such as range, coverage, the number of node for operation and maintenance.

  • In this paper, we studied to improve Inoue's[1] and Kijima's[2] model used to predict ship's manoeuvrability at initial design state. To perform this work, we carried out PMM(Planar motion Mechanism) test and rudder open water test for 12 models of low-speed blunt-ship which have horn type rudders and bulbs in afterbody. As we adopted MMG(Mathematical Modelling Group) model, we could analyze hydrodynamic and MMG experimental coefficients. The regression analyses by principle parameters were carried out for hydrodynamic and MMG experimental coefficients. We had simulated ship's manoeuvrability to check revised MMG.

  • 데이터 증강은 인공지능 모델의 학습에서 필요한 데이터의 양이 적거나 편향되어 있는 경우, 이를 보완하여 모델의 성능을 높이는 데 도움이 된다. 이미지와는 달리 자연어의 데이터 증강은 문맥이나 문법적 구조와 같은 특징을 고려해야 하기 때문에, 데이터 증강에 많은 인적자원이 소비된다. 본 연구에서는 복수의 대규모 언어 모델을 사용하여 입력 문장과 제어 조건으로 프롬프트를 구성하는 데 최소한의 인적 자원을 활용한 의미적으로 유사한 문장을 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한, 대규모 언어 모델을 단독으로 사용하는 것만이 아닌 병렬 및 순차적 구조로 구성하여 데이터 증강의 효과를 높이는 방법을 제안한다. 대규모 언어 모델로 생성된 데이터의 유효성을 검증하기 위해 동일한 개수의 원본 훈련 데이터와 증강된 데이터를 한국어 모델인 KcBERT로 다중 클래스 분류를 수행하였을 때의 성능을 비교하였다. 다중 대규모 언어 모델을 사용하여 데이터 증강을 수행하였을 때, 모델의 구조와 관계없이 증강된 데이터는 원본 데이터만을 사용하였을 때보다 높거나 그에 준하는 정확도를 보였다. 병렬 구조의 다중 대규모 언어 모델을 사용하여 400개의 원본 데이터를 증강하였을 때에는, 원본 데이터의 최고 성능인 0.997과 0.017의 성능 차이를 보이며 거의 유사한 학습 효과를 낼 수 있음을 보였다.

Assessment of the Resistance Performance of Hull Appendages Attached to Fishing Vessels Using CFD (CFD에 의한 어선 선체 부가물의 저항성능 평가)

  • A variety of appendages are attached to coastal and offshore fishing boats to improve stability during navigation or fishing operations (stability performance and roll reduction). These appendages are generally classified into three types, which are shown in Fig. 1. The numerical calculations were conducted for the following eight cases: one case of a bare hull, three cases where a single appendage attached, three cases of a pair of appendages attached, and one case where all three appendages were attached. Table 1 presents the main dimensions of the bare hull and Table 2 describes the main dimensions of the three appendages. The fluid dynamic performance with regard to the three hull appendages was evaluated via CFD for the following cases: each of the appendages attached independently, a pair of appendages attached, and all three appendages attached simultaneously. The No. 1 appendage showed that pressure resistance was proportionally greater than friction resistances. Both Nos. 2 and 3 appendages showed comparable levels of pressure and friction resistances. The correlation between appendages was minimal in the case of pairs and Comparing the cases of the No. 2 appendage attached and all appendages attached, at 11 kn, the EHP showed an difference of 9 %.

Classification of Korean Documents Based on CNN Using Document Indexing Method based on Word Meaning and Order (단어의 의미와 순서를 고려하는 문서색인방법을 이용한 CNN 기반 한글문서분류)

  • 본 논문에서는 컨볼루션 신경망 네트워크(CNN:Convolution Neural Network)을 기반으로 단어의 의미와 순서를 고려하는 문서 색인 방법을 이용하여 한글 문서 분류 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 문서를 형태소 분석하여 어절 단위로 분리 한 후, 불용어를 처리 하고, 문서의 단어 의미를 고려하는 문서 표현하고, 문서의 단어 순서까지 고려하여 CNN의 입력으로 사용하였다. 실험결과 CNN 분류기를 기반으로 본 논문에서 제안하는 문서 색인 방법은 TF-IDF를 이용하는 방법보다 4.2%, Word2vec만 단독으로 사용하는 것보다 1.4%의 성능 상승을 이루었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법이 문서범주화 데이터 셋에서 문서 분류 성능향상에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • This study was performed to investigate the effect of various propeller tunnel shapes on the propulsion performance of a fishing boat. The propeller tunnel reduces the problem resulting from the open propeller accidentally catching the waste net and cable on the sea, as well as increasing the cruising speed. For 3 different tunnel geometries, the model test is conducted in the circular water channel, and the potential based panel method was applied to analyze the hydrodynamic characteristics of propeller. Also, both results are compared with each other to represent the difference between results of the model scale test and the potential theory. It is expected that these results could be referenced in the design of the propeller tunnel in consideration of the hydrodynamic interaction between the propeller and the tunnel.

  • 본 논문에서는 해집단을 다음세대로 진화시킬 때, 유전알고리즘과 진화전략을 동시에 사용하고, 적합도에 따라 복제하는 과정에서 유전알고리즘과 진화전략이 적용될 해집단의 비율이 적응적으로 변경되는 적응진화 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 또한 제안한 알고리즘을 실시간 적용하기 위해 PC 클러스터 시스템으로 병렬처리하여 최적해 탐색 성능 및 탐색속도를 개선하였다. 제안한 알고리즘을 실 배전계통 고장복구 문제에 적용해 본 결과, 유전 알고리즘 또는 진화전략을 단독으로 사용한 경우보다 제안한 방법이 더 빠른 시간내에 우수한 최적해를 탐색하였고, 병렬 연산의 수행 노드수 증가에 따라 최적해 탐색성능은 유지하면서 최적해 탐색시간을 상당히 단축시킴을 확인하였다.
