Temporal locality of Web server references is one of the important characteristics to be considered in the design of a Web caching strategy, and it is important to measure the temporal locality exactly. Various methods to estimate the temporal locality have been proposed, however, Web server designers have still troubles in its measurement by using the tools that don't reflect the interarrival time of document requests. In this paper, we propose a measurement tool for short-term temporal locality based on request interarrival time, and discuss the simulation results based on the flares from NLANR and NASA Web sites. The results show that the proposed tool estimates the short-term temporal locality more exactly than that based on a stack.

This study is an analytical case study focusing on 'low-budget' mobile game development centered on both short-term development and small-scale collaboration. This study set up the assumption of four months as development period limited by three developers along with step by step productional documentation. In the previous study, we set up the responsibilities of the development personnels to analyze the effective process of the practical production. Furthermore, the study analyzed the usability verification of both advantages and disadvantages for conducting the quantitative survey with developer's feedbacks. The study is to provide the essential guideline for 'low-budget' development group with effective pipeline.

배경 및 목적: 전신마취를 위하여 시행한 기관내 삽관은 삽관튜브와 성대내면의 접촉에 의한 압력과 마찰로 후두 미세한 손상을 주게된다. 저자들은 단기간 기관내 삽관 전,후의 음성분석을 통하여 손상의 유무와 회복을 측정할 수 있는 객관적인 음성지표를 찾아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 만성 중이염 수술시 전신마취를 목적으로 경구기관 튜브를 거치한 성인 남자 10명과 여자 15명 환자를 대상으로 수술 1일전과 술후 24시간 후 각각 "a"음을 연장 발성시켜 CSL 4300B (KAY elemetrics Corp)의 MDVP(multidimensional voice program)을 이용하여 harmonic to noise ratio(NHR), Jitter, Shimmer, Fundamental frequency를 측정 비교하였다. 결 과: 남녀 모두에서 Jitter, Shimmer는 각각 평균 0.70%에서 1.06%, 1.92%에서2.28%로 증가되는 경향을 보였으나 통계학적 유의성은 없었다. Fundamental frequency는 여자에서 평균 220Hz에서 221Hz로 남자는 125Hz에서 128Hz로 변화를 보이지 않았고 harmonic to noise ratio(NHR)또한 평균 0.11로 수술 전, 후 변화를 관찰할 수 없었다. 결 론: 이상의 결과로 2내지 6시간의 단기간 삽관으로 인한 성대의 손상은 경미하여 24시간 이내에 회복되는 것으로 판단된다. 향후 6시간 이상의 기관내삽관이나 수일이상의 장기간 삽관후의 음성지표의 측정등의 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Numerous studies of short-term, beat-to-beat variability in cardiovascular signals have used linear analysis techniques. However, no study has been done about the appropriateness of linear techniques or the comparison between linearities and nonlinearities in short-term, beat-to-beat variability. This paper aims to verify the appropriateness of linear techniques by investigating nonlinearities in short-term, beat-to-beat variability. We compared linear autoregressive moving average(ARMA) with nonlinear neural network(NN) models for predicting current instantaneous heart rate(HR) and mean arterial blood pressure(BP) from past HRs and BPs. To evaluate these models. we used HR and BP time series from the MIMIC database. Experimental results indicate that NN-based nonlinearities do not play a significant role and suggest that 10 technique provides adequate characterization of the system dynamics responsible for generating short-term, beat-to-beat variability.

The purpose of this study was to examine the changes of body composition and heinz body blood component after 3 days rapid weight loss(5.16% of total body weight) through combined method with total food restriction and dehydration. The result were as follows: The average weight showed a significant difference between before and after rapid weight loss(p < .05). The percentage of body fat showed some decrease in average with $12.14{\pm}1.80\;(%)$ after weight decrement in an average of $12.68{\pm}1.69\;(%)$ before rapid weight loss, but the difference that noted did not show. The body fluid showed a significant difference between before and after rapid weight loss(p < .05). RDW, ESR, and Heinz body formation showed a significant increase after rapid weight loss. It was concluded that rapid weight loss techniques result in deleterious effects on body composition and red blood cell in middle school wrestler.

메치실린 저항성 황색 포도상구균(MRSA)에 감염된 환자에게 단기간 연속적으로 반코마이신을 투여했을 때 비정상적으로 호중구의 수치가 감소한 약인성 부작용 사례를 보고하고자 한다. 해당 여성 환자는 61세로서 MRSA 감염증을 판정받고 반코마이신 투여와 더불어 점차 백혈구(WBC)와 절대호중구수치(ANC)가 감소하였고, 제10일째에 이르러 호중구 감소증이 발생하여 ANC가 최저 430 $cells/mm^3$까지 낮아졌으나, 반코마이신의 투여를 중단하자 곧 정상수준으로 회복되었다. 본 사례는 Naranjo Probability Scale과 Korean Algorithm Score(Ver. 2.0)로 각각 평가하였을 때 반코마이신의 투여와 호중구감소증의 발현 사이에 모두 '가능한(probable)' 정도의 인과관계를 가진 것으로 평가되었다. 이는 통상적으로 20일 이상 연속투여를 할 때 임상적으로 관측되던 반코마이신-유래 호중구감소증이 단지 10일 정도의 단기간 투여만으로도 발생할 수 있다는 임상적 약물부작용의 사례로서, 향후 MRSA환자에게 반코마이신을 선택할 때에는 이와 같은 부작용을 고려하여 환자의 WBC와 ANC를 면밀히 관찰하면서 투여할 필요성이 있음을 시사한다.
