열교환기 Tube Sheet의 다축드릴가공 검증에 관한 연구 (A Study on Verification of NC Code of Multi-spindles Drilling for Tube Sheet in Heat Exchanger)

  • A verification of multi-spindles drilling NC data is presented. The drilling of multi-spindles can offer productivity over three times as fast as that of single spindle. The most important things in machining tube sheet are precision of hole position and machining time. The drilling of multi-spindles has difficulties in controlling many motors to drive spindles and assign a correspondent number to each spindles. Multi-spindles drilling has different codes from CNC milling ; many subroutines, assignment of spindle, and so on. The conventional method, which inspects the NC code of the drilling, is to drill holes on a thin plate or tube sheet previously. The method results in low productivity because it consumed long machining time and welding for correction. This paper describes details of multi-spindles NC code and operation of multi-spindles drilling machine. A verification software of the multi-spindles drilling NC code is developed on the details.

  • Full scale durability test in the laboratory is an essential of any fatigue life evaluation of components or structures of the automotive vehicle. Component testing is particularly important in today's highly competitive industries where the design to reduce weight and production costs must be balanced with the necessity to avoid expensive service failure. Generally, Hydraulic road simulator is used to carry out the fatigue test and the vibration test. In this paper, the algorithm and software to realize the real road profile are developed. The operation software for simultaneously controlled multi-axial simulator is developed and the input and output data are displayed window based PC controller in real time. The software to generate the real road profile are developed. This paper developed a road profile reappearance software and simultaneously apply 3-axial actuator to white noise, so we verified the propriety of reappearance software through accomplishes an real test.

  • Cylindrical Cam Mechanism is widely used in the fields of industries, such as machine tool exchangers, textile machinery. This paper proposes a method for manufacturing of cylindrical cam in Multi CNC machining center. Multi CNC machining center has two different types depending on the tilting axis. For the manufacturing procedures. in this paper the location and the orientation of cutter path are defined from shape design data of cam. The integral NC code fur the both types of multi-axis CNC machining center can be created using the coordinates mapping between design coordinates and work coordinates. Finally, CAD/CAM program is developed on $C^{++}$ language. This program can display manufacturing and kinematics simulation, which can make integral NC code for multi-axis CNC machining center of two types.

다축차동장치의 전위기어 해석 (Profile-shifted Gears in Multi-axial Differential System)

  • A new tooth profile which is adjusted on the amount of addendum modification factor is proposed for reducing vibration and noise of gears. The transmission error of the new profile can be designed more uniformly than that of the standard involute profile. The basic concepts of tooth profile modification are to reduce the load in contact area and to find the appropriate profile modification factor for operation condition. In this study, gears were estimated to constructive safety of bending strength and contact strength durability by using ROMAX program, and were compared with results by design formula of AGMA standard.

  • In the recent day, fatigue life prediction techniques play a major role in the design of components in the ground vehicle industry. Full scale durability testing in the laboratory is an essential of any fatigue life evaluation of components or structure of the automotive vehicle. Component testing is particularly important in todey's highly competitive industries where the design to reduce weight and production costs must be balanced with the necessity to avoid expensive service failure. Generally, Multi-axis durability testing device is used to carry out the fatigue test. In this paper, The operation software for simultaneously driving Multi-axis vibration testing device is developed and the input and output data are displayed in windows of PC controller with real time. Moteover the characteristics of the displacement and the load of Multi-axis actuators are calibrated separately.

작업환경개선을 위한 석재연마공정에 있어서의 다축마석연마장치 개발 (- Development of the multi axis whetstone system in the stone polishing process for the work environment improvement -)

  • A multi axis whetstone polishing system, which uses the flow system of the stone polishing machine head, has been developed. The test results show that the defect by line contact polishing does not occur in both ends of the stone and that it came to trim smoothly. In terms of the surface roughness, the corresponding index was decreased by 3.6 times, improving the polishing effect greatly. It decreased significantly the dust and noise with the wet polishing. The factors of the duty evasion at production site can thus be solved with the work environment improvement against the polishing process of the stone industry and work intensive reduction.

  • Multi-axes driving system is more suitable for FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System) compared with a conventional single-azis driving system. It has some merits such as flexibility in operation, improvement of net working rate, maintenance free because of no gear train, etc. However, studies on position synchronous control for high precision in the multi-axes driving system are not enough. In this paper, a new method of position synchronous control is suggested in order to apply to the multi- axes driving system. The proposed method is structured very simply using speed and position controller based on PID control law. Especially, the position controller is designed to keep position error to minimize by controlling either speed of two motors. The effectiveness of the proposed method is successfully confirmed through several experiments.
