A RFID Multi-Authentication Method for Logistics Systems (물류 시스템에 적합한 RFID 다중 인증방법)

  • Recently the RFID system, which can recognize multiple tags simultaneously through wireless communication, is emerging as a new technology that can replace the barcode system. Furthermore, related industries are carrying out active research on tags and authentication protocols with guaranteed security that are widely applicable to logistics, distribution, etc. The present study proposes a protocol with enhanced security by introducing the concept of RBAC to the authentication protocol, and a method with lower security for effective mass authentication. The proposed method is advantageous in that it guarantees security against spoofing attack, traffic analysis, replay attack, etc. based on hash function.

  • Recently, there has been an explosive increase in the volume of multimedia data that is available as a result of the development of multimedia technologies. More and more data is becoming available on a variety of web sites, and it has become increasingly cost prohibitive to have a single data server store and process multimedia files locally. Therefore, many service providers have been likely to outsource data to cloud storage to reduce costs. Such behavior raises one serious concern: how can data users be authenticated in a secure and efficient way? The most widely used password-based authentication methods suffer from numerous disadvantages in terms of security. Multi-factor authentication protocols based on a variety of communication channels, such as SMS, biometric, or hardware tokens, may improve security but inevitably reduce usability. To this end, we present a data block-based authentication scheme that is secure and guarantees usability in such a manner where users do nothing more than enter a password. In addition, the proposed scheme can be effectively used to revoke user rights. To the best of our knowledge, our scheme is the first data block-based authentication scheme for outsourced data that is proven to be secure without degradation in usability. An experiment was conducted using the Amazon EC2 cloud service, and the results show that the proposed scheme guarantees a nearly constant time for user authentication.

  • As the number of skyscrapers in micro water grid units such as green building and smart building is increasing in the world, the green building certification system is being implemented to solve problems such as increased demand for water resources and energy. However, researches on the use of sustainable water resources like water reuse and water conservation through linkage and continuous use of water resources, while the power and energy sectors are actively conducting R&D projects in the green building certification system on the micro water grid level. Therefore, this paper analyzes the characteristics and limitations of the water resources sector for the continuous utilization of multiple water sources in the green building certification system, due to the inadequate consideration of sustainability. Then investigates whether various water resources such as constants, nature, and alternative water resources are continuously used in and out of the green building or smart building and complex in the micro water grid unit to suggest evaluation methods and performance evaluation standards.

  • It is X.509 certificate that use to offer authentication and delegation service in grid. Authentication service offers by X.509 user certificate, and delegation service offers by X.509 proxy certificate. However, in case of provide delegation service using X.509 poxy certificate, can not fulfill complicated delegation requirement of grid. In this paper, proposed delegation mechanism that is done restricted delegation, multiple delegation and light weight that delegation service that use existent X.509 proxy certificate does not have. In this paper, delegation service that proposed used SPKI certificate.

  • In this paper, a blockchain-based platform of NFT(Non-Fungible Token) reports was proposed to ensure the reliable performance contents of field study trip. It is possible to identify and manage the personal multi biomeric authentication user ID of activity records for students in a mobile IP-based metaverse with the linkage of extended reality(XR). At this time, many quests and incentives of platform are provided to induce students to experience smart and fun field studying facilities by linking real trip experiences and virtual extended_reality studies in the metaverse interworking.

  • 본 연구는 생체정보를 이용하여 개인을 인증하고 확인하기 위한 방법으로 기존 단일 생체인식 기법의 단점을 보완하기 위해 홍채와 얼굴을 이용한 다중생체인식(Multi-Modal Biometrics Recognition)기법을 연구하였다. 중국 홍채 데이터베이스 CASIA(Chinese Academy of Science)에 Gabor Wavelet과 FLDA(Fuzzy Linear Discriminant Analysis)를 사용하여 특징벡터를 획득하였으며, FERET(FERET(Face Recognition Technology) 얼굴영상데이터를 사용하여 FERET 연구에서 매우 우수한 성능을 보인 EBGM알고리듬으로 특징벡터를 획득하였다. 이로부터 얻어진 두 score 값에 대하여 다양한 균등화 과정을 시도해 보았으며, 등록자와 침입자를 구분하기 위한 Fusion Algorithm으로 Bayesian Classifier, Support vector machine, Fisher's linear discriminant를 사용하였다. 또한, 널리 사용되는 방법 중 Weighted Summation을 이용하여 다중생체인식의 성능을 비교해 보았다.

  • 생체인식 기술은 급속도로 발전하고 있지만 개개의 생체 정보를 이용한 단일 생체인식 기술은 생체 방식에 따라 각각의 문제점이 노출되고 있는 상황이다. 이에 두 가지 이상의 생체 정보를 결합하여 단일 생체인식 기술의 문제점을 극복하고 보다 좋은 인식률을 확보하기 위해 다중 생체인식 시스템(Multi-Modal Bio-metries System)이라는 복합 시스템이 제안 되었다. 이 논문에서는 생체인식 산업의 특성 및 개인 인증 방법으로 사용중인 단일 생체인식 시스템의 문제점을 알아보고 그 해결방안으로 다중 생체인식 시스템의 확률단계(Probability Level)에서 더 좋은 성능을 보여주기 위해 각각의 시스템에 가중치(Weight)를 부여 할 경우, EER(Equal Error Rate)이 단일 생체인식 시스템에 보다 가중치를 부여 했을 때 낮아짐과 동시에 ROC 커브도 (Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve) 좋아짐을 보였다.

Multiple Barcode Watermarking Technique for Improve Robustness and Imperceptibility (강인성과 비지각성 향상을 위한 다중 바코드 워터마킹 기법)

  • Digital watermarking is tried to get an optimum tradeoffs between its performance characteristics, robustness, transparency and capacity. This paper is, therefore, suggesting a watermarking technique that builds multiple barcodes in various frequency bands to implement embedded watermarks that is imperceptible and robust against various attacks. Even though a watermark technique with duplicated barcode watermarks embedded in various frequency bands can satisfy robustness as there is high possibility that watermarks embedded in an image remains after various attacks, the duplicated barcode data can weaken imperceptibility. Thus, to satisfy the conflicting characteristic requirements of watermarks, robustness and imperceptibility, different barcode data is embedded in each frequency band. The test shows that ownership authentication with the technique suggested in this thesis does not require specialized hardware, and extracted watermarks can be easily identified through a mobile barcode scanner app, which allows low complexity, low cost and swift identification.

  • Because many of the FOB key, anti-collision algorithm for a seamless multi-access is applied to the smart-key system. In this paper, we have designed and implemented improved anti-collision algorithm that dramatically reduces the communication response time required in the user authentication process immediately after by dynamically changing the order in which the request of the user ID as the user ID on immediately before in the smart key system for vehicles that use many of the FOB key. In order to evaluate the performance of the system the improved anti-collision algorithm is applied, we show the behavior of the algorithm implemented in the state actually mounted on the vehicle and verify that communication response time required for many of the FOB key was reduced by about 33% compared to existing algorithms.

  • This study aims to analyze the influences of KS certification system on export performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Korea. The analysis may contribute to enhance export competitiveness of Korean SMEs. Based on previous studies for environment-specific and business-specific determinants regarding KS certification system, this study analyzed six factors influencing on export performance of Korean SMEs. For empirical tests, this study used frequency, validity, reliability, and multiple regression analysis with SPSS 21.0. The results of analysis could be summarized as follows. Managerial mind had influence on KS certification system, whereas employee's awareness on standard was influential to the same categories. Another business-specific factor, KS certification education & training, affected factors of general standardization of KS certification system. General standardization of KS certification factor had effects on export strategic performance. This empirical study presents following implications for small and medium businesses. First, considering that SME management mind proved to be influencing all variables, the concerned SME CEOs are required to support and encourage intra-standardization of KS certification mind within the company to improve their export performance. Second, to better the export performance, SMEs not only need to support, but also to provide education of KS certification to raise awareness on standardization among the employees. Third, ISO certification as well as intra-business standardized system for FTA-related works are highly encouraged to put into use to improve the quality of products.
