The Operation Method of Coordinated Multi-point Transmission/Reception in Cloud Base Station (클라우드 기지국에서의 조정 다중점 송수신 운용 방법)

  • Mobile operators are considering a variety of technical measures to cope with the explosion of data while reducing TCO(Total Cost of Ownership) of their networks. In this paper, to investigate the possibility about one of such technical measures, system level simulation to evaluate the performance of the capacity and mobility was performed in cloud base station structure to apply coordinated multi-point transmission and reception. As a result, we find out that system capacity and mobility performance may be improved according to the scale and application area of cloud base station with the operation of coordinated multi-point transmission and reception, and these mutual causality can provide practical guidelines to mobile network's operation.

  • This paper proposes a coordinated multi-point communication (CoMP) method with channel selection to improve performance of a macro user equipment (MUE) in a dense small-cell network environment in a building located within coverage of a macro base station (MBS). In the proposed CoMP method, in order to improve the performance of the MUE located in the building, A small-cell base station (SBS) selects a channel with lower interference to the neighboring MUE and transmits appropriate signals to the MUE requiring CoMP. Simulation results show that the proposed CoMP method improves the performance of the MUE by up to 164% and 51%, respectivley, compared to a random channel allocation based traditional SBS network and CoMP method.

  • 웨이퍼내의 온도 균일도를 확보하는 것은 고속열처리공정장비(RTP)에 있어서 입력신호 수집을 통해 달성해야 할 중요한 제어 요소이며, 이러한 온도의 균일도를 향상시키기 위해서는 웨이퍼의 각 지점에 대한 정확한 온도 계측이 필수적으로 선행되어야 한다. 그러나 RTP의 구조적 특징과 동작특성 때문에 정확한 온도계측이 매우 어려운 면이 있다. 온도계측은 주로 고온계를 통해 이루어지는데 대류와 복사 등 여러 가지 원인에 의해서 웨이퍼내에 온도가 불균일하게 되는 경우 한정된 개수의 고온계로 온도 분포를 정확히 추정할 수 없는 한계를 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RTP 공정을 열역학적으로 접근하여 단일점 온도 계측에 의한 전체 온도 분포 추정 기법을 연구하고 이것을 다중점 온도 계측에 의한 온도 분포 추정 기법으로 확장 발전시켜 웨이퍼에 상대적으로 영향을 끼치는 요소 중 예측 불가능하거나 측정 불가능한 요소까지 포함하여 최소의 측정치를 활용하여, 적절한 제어입력 유도에 필요한 형태로 웨이퍼상의 온도계측을 가능하게 하였다.

  • 본 고에서는 국제표준으로 권고되고 있거나 국제표준으로 작업중에 있는 멀티 미 디어 회의시스템을 위한 여러가지 프로토콜과 응용들을 기반으로하여 국제표준에 적합 한 멀티미디어 회의시스템을 위한 회의응용 서비스를 설계한다. 여기에서 설계 하는 회의용 서비스의 범위는 회의의 설정과 운영, 제어와 종료에 관련하는 회의제어 응용 서비스와 멀티미디어회의에서 사용되는 정지영상응용, 그리고 이를 다중점으로 연결하 여 다중점통신을 가능케하는 다중점통신서비스를 설계 한다. 본 설계에서는 동적이 MCU 의 설정이 가능한 회의 환경의 구성, 회의의 개최와 진행, 운영등의 설계에 중점을 두었다.

Vanishing Point Detection Method Using Multiple Initial Vanishing Points (다중 초기 소실점을 이용한 소실점 검출 방법)

  • In this paper, we propose a vanishing point detection method using multiple initial vanishing points. Vanishing points are important geometric information that is used for reconstructing 3D structures. Three vanishing points are detected for indoor scenes. In the previous work, it could be inaccurate to detect only one initial vanishing point, because initial vanishing point getting most highest sum of voting could be deferent from the best initial vanishing point. Therefore the method which sets multiple initial vanishing point and detects a best vanishing point from them gives us preparation for the prior case. Also in this paper, we propose a adjusting vanishing point method by postprocessing of detected vanishing points. We could detect more accurate vanishing point by using postprocessing. Experimental results show that the accuracy of the vanishing point detection is about 1~2% higher than that of the existing method through the proposed method and the performance is improved accordingly.

Permutation test for a post selection inference of the FLSA (순열검정을 이용한 FLSA의 사후추론)

  • In this paper, we propose a post-selection inference procedure for the fused lasso signal approximator (FLSA). The FLSA finds underlying sparse piecewise constant mean structure by applying total variation (TV) semi-norm as a penalty term. However, it is widely known that this convex relaxation can cause asymptotic inconsistency in change points detection. As a result, there can remain false change points even though we try to find the best subset of change points via a tuning procedure. To remove these false change points, we propose a post-selection inference for the FLSA. The proposed procedure applies a permutation test based on CUSUM statistic. Our post-selection inference procedure is an extension of the permutation test of Antoch and Hušková (2001) which deals with single change point problems, to multiple change points detection problems in combination with the FLSA. Numerical study results show that the proposed procedure is better than naïve z-tests and tests based on the limiting distribution of CUSUM statistics.

  • Semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) are optical probes with excellent fluorescence properties. Therefore, they have been applied to various bio-medical imaging techniques and biosensors. Due to the unique optical characteristics of wide absorption and narrow fluorescence energy bands, multiple types of signals can be generated by the combination of fluorescence wavelengths from different QDs, which enables the simultaneous detection of more than two biomarkers. In this review, the advantages and applications of QDs and QD nanobeads (QBs) in multiple biomarker assays were described, and new developments or improvements in multiplexed biomarker detection techniques were summarized. In particular, recent reports were summarized, focusing on the design strategies in immunoassay construction and signal transducing materials for fluorescence-linked immunosorbent assays using QDs and immunochromatographic assays using QBs. New detection platforms will be developed for early diagnosis of diseases and other fields if multiplexed detection technologies of excellent accuracy and sensitivity are combined with artificial intelligence algorithms.

Summarization Based Multi-news Title Extraction Using Term Relevance Estimation and Byte Pair Encoding (단어 관련성 추정과 바이트 페어 인코딩(Byte Pair Encoding)을 이용한 요약 기반 다중 뉴스 기사 제목 추출)

  • 다중 문서 제목 추출은 하나의 주제를 가지는 다중 문서에 대한 제목을 추출하는 것을 말한다. 일반적으로 다중 문서 제목 추출에서는 다중 문서 집합을 단일 문서로 본 다음 키워드를 제목 후보군으로 추출하고, 추출된 후보를 나열하는 형식의 연구가 많이 진행되어져 왔다. 하지만 이러한 방법은 크게 두 가지의 한계점을 가지고 있다. 먼저, 다중 문서를 단순히 하나의 문서로 보는 방법은 전체적인 주제를 반영한 제목을 추출하기 어렵다는 문제점이 있다. 다음으로, 키워드를 조합하는 형식의 방법은 키워드의 단위를 찾는 방법에 따라 추출된 제목이 자연스럽지 못하다는 한계점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이 한계점들을 보완하기 위하여 단어 관련성 추정과 Byte Pair Encoding을 이용한 요약 기반의 다중 뉴스 기사 제목 추출 방법을 제안한다. 평가를 위해서는 자동으로 군집된 총 12개의 주제에 대한 다중 뉴스 기사 집합을 사용하였으며 전문 교육을 받은 연구원들이 정성평가를 진행하여 5점 만점 기준 평균 3.68점을 얻었다.

A Multistriped Checkpointing Scheme for the Fault-tolerant Cluster Computers (다중 분할된 구조를 가지는 클러스터 검사점 저장 기법)

  • The checkpointing schemes should reduce the process delay through managing the checkpoints of each node to fit the network load to enhance the performance of the process running on the cluster system that write the checkpoints into its global stable storage. For this reason, a cluster system with single IO space on a distributed RAID chooses a suitable checkpointng scheme to get the maximum IO performance and the best rollback recovery efficiency. In this paper, we improved the striped checkpointing scheme with dynamic stripe group size by adapting to the network bandwidth variation at the point of checkpointing. To analyze the performance of the multi striped checkpointing scheme, we applied Linpack HPC benchmark with MPI on our own cluster system with maximum 512 virtual nodes. The benchmark results showed that the multistriped checkpointing scheme has better performance than the striped checkpointing scheme on the checkpoint writing efficiency and rollback recovery at heavy system load.

Floor Response Spectra Analysis Including Correlations of Multiple Support Motions (층간의 상관관계를 고려한 다중 층응답스펙트럼 해석)

  • This paper deals with the response spectra analysis method of the secondary structures including the correlation effect between the nonuniform multiple support excitations. Based on the random vibration theory, the multiple floor response spectra and the cross-correlation coefficient spectra of the floor motions are derived from the design ground response spectra. The example analysis results show that the proposed method yields more accurate results than those by the conventional multiple floor response spectra method without the correlation effects of the support motions. The present method may be easily employed in the seismic design of the secondary structures in engineering practice.
