Parameterization and Application of a Forest Landscape Model by Using National Forest Inventory and Long Term Ecological Research Data (국가산림자원조사와 장기생태연구 자료를 활용한 산림경관모형의 모수화 및 적용성 평가)

  • Forest landscape models (FLMs) can be used to investigate the complex interactions of various ecological processes and patterns, which makes them useful tools to evaluate how environmental and anthropogenic variables can influence forest ecosystems. However, due to the large spatio-temporal scales in FLMs studies, parameterization and validation can be extremely challenging when applying to new study areas. To address this issue, we focused on the parameterization and application of a spatially explicit forest landscape model, LANDIS-II, to Mt. Gyebang, South Korea, with the use of the National Forest Inventory (NFI) and long-term ecological research (LTER) site data. In this study, we present the followings for the biomass succession extension of LANDIS-II: 1) species-specific and spatial parameters estimation for the biomass succession extension of LANDIS-II, 2) calibration, and 3) application and validation for Mt. Gyebang. For the biomass succession extension, we selected 14 tree species, and parameterized ecoregion map, initial community map, species growth characteristics. We produced ecoregion map using elevation, aspect, and topographic wetness index based on digital elevation model. Initial community map was produced based on NFI and sub-alpine survey data. Tree species growth parameters, such as aboveground net primary production and maximum aboveground biomass, were estimated from PnET-II model based on species physiological factors and environmental variables. Literature data were used to estimate species physiological factors, such as FolN, SLWmax, HalfSat, growing temperature, and shade tolerance. For calibration and validation purposes, we compared species-specific aboveground biomass of model outputs and NFI and sub-alpine survey data and calculated coefficient of determination (R2) and root mean square error (RMSE). The final model performed very well, with 0. 98 R2 and 8. 9 RMSE. This study can serve as a foundation for the use of FLMs to other applications such as comparing alternative forest management scenarios and natural disturbance effects.

Comparison and discussion of MODSIM and K-WEAP model considering water supply priority (공급 우선순위를 고려한 MODSIM과 K-WEAP 모형의 비교 및 고찰)

  • This study compared the characteristics of the optimization technique and the water supply and demand forecast using K-WEAP (Korea-Water Evaluation and Planning System) model and MODSIM (Modified SIMYLD) model considering wtaer supply priority. Currently, The national water resources plan applied same priority for municipal, industrial and agricultural demand. the K-WEAP model performs the ratio allocation to satisfy the maximum satisfaction rate, whereas the MODSIM model should be applied to the water supply priority of demands. As a result of applying the priority, water shortage decreased by an average of $1,035,000m^3$ than same prioritized results. It is due to the increase of the return flow rate as the distribution of Municipal and industrial water increases. Comparing the analysis results of K-WEAP and MODSIM applying the priorities, the relative error was within 5.3% and the coefficient of determination ($R^2$) was 0.9999. In addition, if both models provide reasonable water balance analysis results, K-WEAP is superior to GUI convenience for model construction and data processing. However, MODSIM is more effective in simulation time efficiency. It is expected that it will be able to carry out analysis according to various scenarios using the model.

  • SNS provider's biggest interest lies in enhancing user satisfaction through user request analysis and developing services to induce continuous use of those devices. In particular, setting up management directions to develop SNS at maturity is important and it is also important to identify the functions which SNS users are pursuing for and identify what's considered unsatisfiable among the services currently provided in light of user expectations. To this end, this study further presents sociality quality and personal emotional quality reflecting the characteristics of SNS to the existing quality factors and expands to Expected Confirmation Model. This study further took into account of sociality quality and personal emotional quality reflecting the characteristics of SNS and approached to them from the perspective of quality in a comprehensive way, analyzed the degree of impact on recognition factors, and presented the factors that had an impact on the satisfaction with usage and intention to use continuously.

A Study on Transfer Process Model for long-term preservation of Electronic Records (전자기록의 장기보존을 위한 이관절차모형에 관한 연구)

  • Traditionally, the concept of transfer is that physical records such as paper documents, videos, photos are made a delivery to Archives or Records centers on the basis of transfer guidelines. But, with the automation of records management environment and spreading new records creation and management applications, we can create records and manage them in the cyberspace. In these reasons, the existing transfer system is that we move filed records to Archives or Records centers by paper boxes, needs to be changed. Under the needing conditions of a new transfer paradigm, the fact that the revision of Records Act that include some provisions about electronic records management and transfer, is desirable and proper. Nevertheless, the electronic transfer provisions are too conceptional to apply records management practice, so we have to develop detailed methods and processes. In this context, this paper suggest that a electronic records transfer process model on the basis of international standard and foreign countries' cases. Doing transfer records is one of the records management courses to use valuable records in the future. So, both producer and archive have to transfer records itself and context information to long-term preservation repository according to the transfer guidelines. In the long run, transfer comes to be the conclusion that records are moved to archive by a formal transfer process with taking a proper records protection steps. To accomplish these purposes, I analyzed the 'OAIS Reference Model' and 'Producer-Archive Interface Methodology Abstract Standard-CCSDS Blue Book' which is made by CCSDS(Consultative committee for Space Data Systems). but from both the words of 'Reference Model' and 'Standard', we can understand that these standard are not suitable for applying business practice directly. To solve this problem, I also analyzed foreign countries' transfer cases. Through the analysis of theory and case, I suggest that an Electronic Records Transfer Process Model which is consist of five sub-process that are 'Ingest prepare ${\rightarrow}$ Ingest ${\rightarrow}$ Validation ${\rightarrow}$ Preservation ${\rightarrow}$ Archival storage' and each sub-process also have some transfer elements. Especially, to confirm the new process model's feasibility, after classifying two types - one is from Public Records center to Public Archive, the other is from Civil Records center to Public or Civil Archive - of Korean Transfer, I made the new Transfer Model applied to the two types of transfer cases.

  • Sliding accidents on the road have a high percentage by road freezing, especially, they often have appeared at bridges and Tunnel of freezing areas. Thus, the stability of road operations is enhanced by preventing partial freezing phenomenon. According to the geothermal snow melting system analysis, a pattern of thermal conductivity is found out; pavement materials of concrete and asphalt where the system is buried. The heat transfer simulation is essential when the geothermal snow melting system is applied according to heating exchanger pipe placed in the lower pavements. The model tests are conducted on low temperature in freezer using the manufactured test model which is equal to pavement materials. Many variables are discovered from numerical analyses under the same conditions with model test.

A Study on Determinants of the Ecotourist's Satisfaction with Geumgang Birdwatching Destination (금강 철새도래지 생태관광객의 만족에 영향을 미치는 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to suggest appropriate directions for the desirable ecotourist attraction management through the investigation of the tourist's satisfaction with ecotourism in case of Geumgang birdwatching destination. This research focus on the identification of the determinants of the ecotourist's satisfaction and the estimated regression model. The results of this study for the tourist's satisfaction with the ecotourism are summarized as follows. First, as a result of the factor analysis of the tourist's satisfaction variables, five factors like 'knowledge information', 'experience', 'ecological value', 'guide service', 'facilities environment' are deduced. Second, as a result of the test of significance, the difference of the satisfaction with ecotourism in aspect of the tourist's demographic characteristics like age and academic background is confirmed to be statistically significant except sex. Third, the tourist's satisfaction with ecotourism appears to be positively correlative with the tourist's overall satisfaction.

  • 농업가뭄은 관측과 예측이 용이하지 않고 정량적으로 나타내기도 어려운 자연현상이며, 우리나라의 경우 농업용수 이용량이 많고, 농업용 저수지, 양수장 등 이용형태가 다양하므로 강수 부족으로 농업가뭄이 발생한다고 해도 실제로 농업현장에서 느끼는 가뭄은 시·공간적으로 다를 수 있다. 농업용수 공급은 수문관리원이 경험을 통한 수문관리를 해오고 있으며, 그 방법 또한 정확한 계측이 아닌 경험으로 이루어지고 있어 공급량 관리가 정성적이고 제한적인 한계가 발생한다. 따라서, 수원공에서 수로조직 및 포장에 이르기까지의 용수공급 모의를 통해 농업용수 공급의 합리적인 분배, 말단 수로 및 포장까지 안정적인 용수공급을 위한 물공급 및 분배 효율 분석이 필요하다. 또한, 기존 농업용 수리시설물의 물 공급 능력 평가 및 들녘단위의 평야부 물 부족지역과 과잉공급된 지역의 정확한 파악을 위한 연구가 필요하다. 따라서, 농업용 저수지 및 양수장의 주목적인 관할 수혜구역에 대한 농업용수공급 안정성 및 관개효율을 평가하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 상주지역의 덕가 저수지를 대상으로 양수장 위치에 따라 가상의 3가지 용수공급 시나리오를 구성하고 각 시나리오별 수로 네트워크 모의를 통해 평야부의 공급량 및 관개효율을 비교 분석하고자 한다. 2017년부터 2019년까지 농업기반시설관리시스템 (Rural Infrastructure Management System, RIMS) 저수율 데이터를 구축하였고, 유체의 흐름에 대한 수리적 특성을 모의할 수 있는 SWMM(Storm Water Management Model) 모형을 통해 관개기 동안의 농업용수 분배 모의와 공급효율을 분석하고자 한다.

  • 우리나라 하구에 조성된 담수호의 수자원은 다양한 용수 목적에 맞게 활용하고 있으며, 수질 기준에 부합하는 용수를 공급하고 담수호 및 간척지의 친환경적 가치를 높이기 위해서는 담수호의 상류 유역 및 유입 오염물질, 그리고 담수호 수체 특성에 대한 종합적인 이해를 기반으로 수질 오염 관리 대책을 수립하는 것이 중요하다. 일반적으로 담수호 개선을 위한 방안의 선정 방식은 연평균 수질 농도를 기준으로 목표하고자 하는 수질 기준의 만족 여부에 대한 평가와 경제적 평가를 함께 고려하여 최적의사결정 기반으로 주로 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 기존의 평가 방법에서는 목표 수질의 만족 여부가 중요하다는 점에서 담수호 수자원의 시기별 활용성에 대한 고려를 간과하기 쉽다. 또한 담수호 수자원 시스템의 수질 악화에 대한 회복탄력성을 높이는 일은 단순히 유역관리대책의 적용에 따른 수질 개선 문제와는 별도로 담수호 수자원 시스템의 지속 가능성과 연관된다는 점에서 기존의 평가 방식을 보완하기 위한 수단이 필요하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 담수호 수자원 관리 방안을 평가하는 데 있어서 회복탄력성의 개념을 활용하였으며, 각 방안에 대한 시간적 변화에 따른 담수호의 회복탄력성 특징을 고려하기 위하여 동적 회복탄력성 개념 및 평가 방법을 도입하였다. 본 연구에서는 우선 기존의 수질 평가 방법에 따라 간월호를 대상으로 수질 개선 방안별 수질 변화를 SWAT-EFDC 연계모형을 통해 모의하고, 연평균 수질 농도와 총인 삭감량에 대해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 간월호의 지형학적 특성에 따라 간월호 상류 구간의 수질 농도가 다른 구간에 비해 높게 나타났으며, 상류 구역의 경우 준설 시나리오만으로는 목표 수질을 달성하기 어려운 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 상류 구역의 수질 목표 달성을 위해서는 준설 시나리오만으로는 한계가 있으므로 상류 유역 출구부에 위치한 하수처리시설의 총인 배출부하량을 삭감과 추가적인 유역 수질 관리 대책이 필요하다.

  • The educational exchange through e-learning is working very well in such case as develop e-learning, development of various learning tools, cooperative practical use of e-learning contents, etc. However because there were no considerations of LMS(Learning Management System) interconnection when each systems were developed, the exchange through e-learning is starting to raise a problem. Especially the exchange through e-learning between university produced problem for a variety of reasons by absence of direct exchange in every case such as communication of students information, communication of lecture information, etc. Hence in this thesis, I will present designed model about efficient LMS interconnection through analysis case of exchange through e-learning and deduce problem. In the first place I define essential part for study such as lecture establishment data, lecture data, user data, class data, student learning tracking to interconnection data, then constituted data interconnection table used view by data interconnection prcess. By experiment result, the accessibility between students and professors was more convenience, and decreased work process by less data exchange. Henceforth there are researches in development of various essential parts for study, considered security of LMS interconnection.

Telecommunication Service Usage as Predictor of the Timing of Handset Buyers' Replacement Purchases (통신서비스 이용행태 분석을 통한 휴대폰 교체기간 예측)

  • With the explosive growth of mobile products industry, tons of newer versions of products are putting on the market. From the marketer's perspective, understanding consumers' replacement purchases, especially the replacement timing, is essential to product planning and selling. This study presents an approach to finding out factors influencing the timing of buyers' replacement purchases of cell phones, using duration analysis; a hazard function specification is applied to describe consumers' replacement timing decision. Based on the data collected from a mobile telecommunication company, five categories of factors have been inspected. These are consumer's innovative service usage, data service usage, voice service usage, participation in loyalty programs, and the demographic characteristics. The results of the study are as follows. Firstly, the positive coefficient of 'the number of related services used' suggests that the consumers who have more usage knowledge tend to replace faster. Secondly, customers participating in the membership service are positively associated with early replacement purchases. Lastly, younger customers(vs. older) and male(vs. female) customers turned out to replace cell phones earlier.
