본 논문에서는 유아를 위한 가정연계 다문화 교육활동을 계획하고 적용함으로써 유아와 어머니의 다문화 인식에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보는 것에 목적을 두고 있다. 분석 결과 첫째, 가정연계 다문화 교육활동이 유아의 다문화 인식 전체와 하위 요인인 문화 개방성, 문화 수용성, 문화 존중성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째 가정연계 다문화 교육활동은 어머니의 다문화 인식 전체와 하위 요소인 문화 수용성, 문화 존중성에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 문화 개방성에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 가정연계 다문화 교육활동에 참여한 유아들의 다양한 표현 결과물과 교사 관찰일지, 교사저널 등을 분석한 결과 유아들의 다문화 관련 인식에 긍정적인 변화가 있었으며, 문화 개방성, 문화수용성, 문화 존중성에도 효과가 있었다. 즉, 가정과 연계한 다문화 교육활동은 유아의 다문화 인식과 어머니의 다문화 인식 중 문화 수용성과 문화 존중성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the multicultural sensitivity of early childhood teachers, their perception on the purpose of multicultural education and any possible differences in those regards according to their background variables in an effort to determine the influence of the multicultural sensitivity of early childhood teachers and their perception on the purpose of multiculitural education on multicultural sensitivity, as the two variables were closely bound up with multicultural teaching efficacy. The subjects in this study were 283 selected early childhood teachers. The findings of the study were as follows: First, as for perception on the purpose of multicultural education, caring-centered perception was most common among the early childhood teachers, and their scores in multicultural sensitivity were a little above average. Second, there were significant differences among the teachers in multicultural sensitivity and perception on the purpose of multicultural education according to career, age and academic credential. Third, multicultural sensitivity and four perceptions on the purpose of multicultural education had a significant positive correlation with multicultural teaching efficacy. Multicultural sensitivity exerted the largest influence on multicultural teaching efficacy. Among the four perceptions of the purpose of multicultural education, caring-centered perception and social action-centered one turned out to have an impact on the subvariables of multicultural teaching efficacy. This study will provide basic information to prepare some solutions that enforce ealry childhood teachers' mulitucultutral education ability by improving their multicultural teaching efficacy.

This study is to investigate the theoretical background of the content system for an integrated approach to multi-cultural education. It has been expanding to children from general family even though started to support children from multi-cultural family. Most of multi-cultural education programs would be their purpose as building the multi-cultural citizenship even though various multi-cultural education have been introduced. These programs had limited to apply western multi cultural education into Korea school, and Their focuses were not who is person to be morally educated in the multi cultural society. Thus, this study put emphasis on the necessity of and developed the content system for an integrated approach to multi-cultural education.

The number of multicultural families is on the rise worldwide. In this respect, the central government and municipal governments are also implementing and supporting multicultural-related policies. However, they are in progress, not as services needed for multicultural members but as policy issues. This causes multicultural members to fail to figure out the need of policies supported by the government or local governments, as well as to grasp the desire for what services in need are. In addition to this, many studies regarding multiculture are under way but few studies have been known so far as to multicultural business models. This study has suggested a final business model and strategy methods by designing, comparing and analyzing a business model needed for multicultural members through interviews with professionals and multicultural members with regard to mulcultural policies and examples in Korea.

The study aims at understanding current states and problems for multi-cultural families in libraries. The study examined multicultural services in Korean libraries as well as overseas. The study analyzed library services and education problems of multicultural families based on multicultural model, assimilationist model, and differential exclusionary model. The study surveyed multi-cultural services librarians and educators as well as immigrants and children who have participated in multicultural problems, and finally analyzed problems and requirements of programs for multicultural families.

This study investigated effects of college students' multicultural contacts on multicultural competency. This study also examined mediating effects of perspective taking and prejudice. Multicultural contacts were divided into quality of contacts and quantity of contacts. Effects of quality and quantity of contacts on multicultural competency through perspective taking and prejudice were separately analyzed using two models. For the purpose, 642 Korean college students completed the questionnaires including multicultural contacts, multicultural competency, perspective taking, prejudice and demographic information. The results indicate that both quality and quantity of contacts are associated with multicultural competency, but quality of contacts are more strongly associated with multicultural competency. Also, perspective taking and prejudice mediate the relationship between quality of contacts and multicultural competency while mediators did not mediate the relationship between quantity of contacts and multicultural competency. The results indicate that intimate and positive contacts with outgroup members help enhance college students' multicultural competency through increased perspective taking and prejudice reduction. Future multicultural education for undergraduate students should focus on increasing the quality of multicultural contacts and help them with perspective taking, and reducing prejudice.

The purpose of this study was to explore degree of multicultural openness, preoccupation, multicultural acceptability, and multicultural efficacy, the factors influencing of multicultural efficacy of nursing students and to provide the basic data to increased multicultural efficacy. This research involved 299 nursing students in B and Y city. Data were collected from May 8, 2017 to 28. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. In results of the study, multiculture efficacy appeared as $3.92{\pm}0.54$. There were significant difference in multicultural efficacy with age, experience of class with multicultural students, experience of other languages class, foreign friends. There were positive correlation between multicultural efficacy and multicultural openness(r=.396, p<.001), between multicultural efficacy and multicultural acceptability(r=.471, p<.001), negative correlation between multicultural efficacy and preoccupation (r=-.464, p<.001). Regression analysis showed 36.1% of variance in nursing students multicultural efficacy can by age, foreign friends, preoccupation, multicultural acceptability. Through this research requires the fellow study to determine the various factors affecting multicultural efficacy of nursing students. And it is necessary to development education and program that can enhance multicultural efficacy is required.

This study aimed to analyze a relationship between a cognitive level of multicultural acceptability and multicultural attitude of Multicultural Family Support Center workers. As a result of the research with regard to this study purpose, there was a difference between variables after analyzing whether it is different between multicultural acceptability depending on social statistics characteristic of Multicultural Family Support Center workers, and multicultural attitude. In addition, it was shown that there was a significant relationship between variables in the result of analyzing the effect of Multicultural Family Support Center workers' multicultural perception, ability to form multicultural relationship, and factors of multicultural sympathy on openness, receptiveness, and flexibility of multicultural attitude. From the result, this research has significance that it suggests a politic alternative to improve the level of multicultural attitude of Multicultural Family Support Center workers.

Aim(s): This study aims to explore the relationship between multicultural awareness, multicultural acceptance and sensitivity of nursing students in the midst of rapid changes in multiculturalism, and to explore the direction for improving multicultural awareness as health care workers in the future. A survey was conducted among 135 nursing students from two universities in one region, and 108 students, excluding random responses and dropouts, were the final subjects for analysis. For data analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis and mediation effects were tested using SPSS and process Macros. The results confirmed a statistically significant relationship between multicultural awareness and multicultural acceptance (r=.572, p<.001). The relationship between mutual cultural sensitivity, multicultural acceptance (r=.650, p<.001) and multicultural awareness (r=.456, p<.001) also showed a significant positive correlation. In addition, the effect of mutual cultural sensitivity was confirmed in the relationship between multicultural awareness and multicultural acceptance. As a result, in the relationship between multicultural awareness and multicultural acceptability, intercultural sensitivity ranged from 0.188 to 0.554, and the 95% confidence interval did not include 0; thus, indirect effect was statistically significant. Considering these results, it was confirmed that it is important to increase multicultural awareness and intercultural sensitivity in order to increase multicultural acceptance.

This study aimed to examine multicultural acceptance of librarians and to investigate the factors affecting librarians' multicultural acceptance. For this, this study collected its data through a questionnaire conducted for the public librarians. The total 319 questionnaires were collected and 292 were finally analyzed. The results showed that the factors affecting the multicultural acceptance of the librarians were the experience of overseas residence, of multicultural service and of multicultural education. Based on the results, the ways to cultivate librarians' multicultural acceptance were discussed.
