The purpose of this research is to suggest diverse directions for eco-friendly knit designing through analyzing the characteristics of Stella McCartney's knit designs. The first stage of the research was to explore the characteristics of eco-friendly fashion design based on literature review. The next stage was to categorize the characteristics of eco-friendly design found in Stella McCartney' knit fashion based on the precedent analysis. The data collected showed 274 examples from 40 Stella McCartney collections, including Spring, Resort, Pre-Fall, and Fall Ready-to-wear collections between 2013 and 2022. All information was collected using www.vogue.com. As a result, the characteristics of Stella McCartney's knit design were classified into four directopms: 1) Perpetual Naturalism, 2) Cultural Complexity, 3) Practical Functionality, and 4) Subcultural Reproducibility. The first characteristic, 'Perpetual Naturalism' values the continuous symbiosis between animals and human beings, thereby protecting global environmental value. Stella McCartney's knit design continuously showed a longing for nature's beauty through fashion design, which allowed people to enjoy the meaning of symbiosis between human beings and animals. Second, 'Cultural Complexity' is the characteristic that appears in Stella McCartney's knit fashion design when collaborating with various artists and/or mixing traditional knit motives inspired by traditional cultures and retro moods. Third, 'Practical Functionality' is the design characterisitic that allows items to be worn for a long time as it is comfortable, simple, and practical. Stella McCartney's knit designs pursue easy-to-wear designs that are comfortable and have practical designs with simple details. Lastly, 'Subcultural Reproducibility' showed in Stella McCartney's knit designs reflect Hippie culture, which pursued a rejection of conventional values, and promoted sustainable energy. This culture peaked in the 1960s and 1970s, when 'Beatles' were mainly working. Additionally, retro styled knit designs inspired by other various music genres from the 1980s and 1990s appeared in this category as well.

This study examines how the concept of gender fluidity-viewing gender identity as a fluid and wide spectrum-is represented in modern knit fashion collections. The period spring/summer 2017-fall/winter 2021, when gender-related fashion keywords started attracting attention, was limited to the last five years, and the results of a case analysis focused on a total of 357 knit fashion photos are as follows. First, the androgynous compromise through the mixing of heterogeneous elements appears as a mix-and-match style due to the patchwork of heterogeneous materials and forms that borrow or share masculinity and femininity. Second, it was confirmed that the dismantling exaggeration caused by the destruction of the size and form of clothes was an avant-garde image that exaggerated the size or length of clothes or destroyed ideas and forms. Third, the exposed sensuality caused by the deformation of the fluid knitting technique was shown in the form of proudly expressing sexuality by exposing the body either using the cut-out technique or through the loose texture of the knit. Knit fashion can highlight decorative effects using handcrafted techniques and express a detailed or coarse sense of organization depending on the density. In addition, since it is possible to create a complex image by juxtaposing and mixing various knit structures, it was confirmed that it is a suitable material for expressing gender fluidity flowing between men and women in fashion.

This study examined how middle-aged female consumers' environmental consciousness influences their attitudes and ethical purchasing behavior toward RUR (recycling, upcycling, and reuse) knit products. The research employs a survey method, targeting 30-40 year old women residing in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do Province. On-line and off-line data collection were conducted. The following conclusions emerged through statistical analyses, including factor analysis, cluster analysis, t-test, and regression analysis. Firstly, respondents' environmental consciousness variables were classified into two factors, delineating high and low environmental consciousness clusters, demonstrating significant differences between them. Secondly, the high environmental consciousness cluster exhibited more positive consumer attitudes and ethical purchasing behavior towards RUR knit products. Moreover, it was established that environmental pollution consciousness and eco-friendly product purchase consciousness influenced environmental consciousness on consumer attitudes and ethical purchasing behavior. Lastly, the study confirmed that consumer attitudes mediated environmental consciousness and ethical purchasing behavior. In conclusion, this research establishes a meaningful link between environmental consciousness, consumer attitudes, and ethical purchasing behavior in 30-40 year old women. Environmentally conscious groups positively influence attitudes toward RUR knitted fashion and promote ethical purchasing behavior. Consequently, it is recommended that knit fashion companies prioritize environmental consciousness and eco-friendly products in their marketing strategies. Furthermore, diversifying the application of RUR knit products, coupled with eco-friendly production techniques, can amplify their appeal and utility, ensuring a positive impact on consumer behavior.

Aliphatic and aromatic nitro compounds were selectively reduced to their corresponding amino derivatives in good yields using formic acid and CeY zeolite under monomode reactor. This system is found to be compatible with several sensitive functionalities. Beside the recycling result showed it had a long catalyst lifetime and could maintain activity even after being used for 20 cycles.

Recently ADN was disclosed to replace AP or AN as a solid oxidizer. 3-N,N-Dinitraminopropanitrile, a key intermediate in the preparation of ADN, was synthesized from bis(2-cyanoethyl)amine by the sequence: nitration of bis(2-cyanoethyl)amine followed by decyanoethylation by base and the second nitration with NO2BF4. 3-N-Nitro-bis(2-cyanoethyl)amine could also be obtained by the oxidation of the corresponding N-nitroso compound.

The purpose of this study is to discover the techniques and the trends of expression of modern knitwears focusing on the 1990's after. According to a wide sense, ecology, ethnic, modern are the themes of knitwears of 1990's after. The characteristic technique of expression according to the themes are expressed by the harmony of image, yarn, color, silhouette, techniques of expression. The modern knitwears are tried by mixed and various techniques, developed to the area of art wear, escaping from simple and practical item.

The purposes of this study were to investigate consumers preference and dissatisfied factors in knitted golf wear The 430 questionnaires were sent to consumers who live in the Seoul Metropolitan district including Pundang-city and Iisan-city, The return rate was 89.5%. Statistical devices were t-test, ANOVA, $X$2. frequency with SAS program. The results of this study were as follows: First, Preferred colors were pastel, straw yellow, and black in descending order. Preferred coordination was analogous rather than complementary coordination. The classical look with T-neck, pullover, and V-neck was preferred. The preferred materials were pure cotton and cotton/wool blend in solid colors or plain and intasia structure. There were significant differences that pure cotton was preferred the forties and fifties or housewife, and cotton blend was preferred the thirties or service jobholders. Second, dissatisfied factors were pilling, deformation and de-coloration. The pilling problem was indicated in all income levels. Customers complained about no exchange and no refund policy with sales persons'discourtesy and time delay for repairing.

The bending properties, wrinkle resistance, and fabric retention behaviors of cotton knitted fabrics in the wale and course directions were studied for their dependence upon resin finishing, knit structure, and washing cycles. Stiffness, wrinkle recovery angles, and dimensional stability were investigated before and after resin finishing and laundering. It has been found that any change in the physical properties of the knitted fabrics with respect to knit structure and fabric directions are related to accompanying modifications to the state of the fiber properties. The decrease of fabric shrinkage rates and wrinkle recovery properties from increasing laundering cycles is related with resin incorporated on the fiber surface. This study shows that resin finishing on knitted fabrics can be performed only to improve fabric retention properties with reduced wrinkle recovery properties.

파일 직물은 높은 기공성과 유체흡수 및 보온성이 뛰어나, 타월, 행주와 같은 청소직물 뿐 아니라 침장 및 의류용 소재에도 널리 사용되고 있다. 최근 경편분야에서 극세사를 이용한 제품이 다양한 용도로 적극 활용되고 있으며 환편 제품으로 가볍고 터치감이 특징인 Polar Fleece가 저렴한 가격으로 소비자들의 관심이 증대되고 있다. 이러한 소비시장을 고려해 볼 때 이 두 가지가 함께 공존하는 제품 개발이 절실하지만, 극세사 제품은 트리코트 경편제품이고 Polar Fleece로 활용하는 제품은 환편에서 후가공 기술을 응용한 제품으로 생산기계와 가공공정이 다르며, EF Velboa와 Polar Fleece 2종류 원단의 본딩으로만 가능하기 때문에 환경적으로도 유해하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 덕산엔터프라이즈(주)에서 경편조직과 원사의 특성을 고려하여 본딩 공정없이 표면 은 EF-Velboa, 이면은 Polar Fleece와 같은 부드럽고 고급스러운 외관을 동시에 발현하는 3D 입체구조를 가진 원단을 개발하였다. 또한 개발된 원단의 다양한 용도전개를 위해 염색프로그램, 균염성, 견뢰도 테스트를 진행하였으며 향후 제품군으로의 활용 가능성 여부를 검토하였다.

대구경 현장타설말뚝에 대한 시험하중의 증가와 함께 적용이 활성화되고 있는 오스터버그 셀(Osterberg cell)방식이 적용된 국외의 4 개소 시험결과에 대하여 소개하였다. 사례연구의 대상이 된 4 개소 시험말뚝은 일반적인 시험보다는 결과상의 특징이 있어 현재 및 향후 동일한 시험방법이 적용될 경우 고려될 수 있는 내용을 중심으로 기술하였다. 이들 말뚝시험에서는 가장 전형적으로 지지력의 균형이 이루어져 말뚝의 극한현상이 발생되지 않아 설계하중을 충분히 확인한 경우뿐 아니라 선단지지력이 부족하여 선단 그라우팅 후 재시험을 한 경우, O-cell을 말뚝의 선단에 가장 근접하여 설치 한 후 시험한 경우, 그리고 다단면(multi-level test)시험이 수행되었던 예 등을 살펴보았다.
