니켈과 질소를 도핑 함으로써 염료흡착성을 가지는 TiO2 합성 및 특성연구

  • $TiO_2$에 니켈과 질소가 도입된 촉매를 합성하여 광촉매 활성을 연구하였다. degussa는 methylene blue 분자에 대하여 흡착능력을 거의 나타내지 않았으나, 니켈과 질소의 양이 최적화된 촉매에서는 최대 흡착량이 13.01 mg/g에 달하였다. Zeta potential 측정 결과 최대 -25.46 mV의 음전하를 나타내었으며, 각각의 촉매흡착성은 이와 비례하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 니켈이 도입된 $TiO_2$는 흡착능력뿐만 아니라 가시광선을 이용한 MB분해 실험에서 우수한 광촉매 특성을 나타내었다.

Improvement of Thermal Stability of Nickel Silicide Under the Influence of Nickel Sandwich Structure (니켈 sandwich구조에 의한 니켈실리사이드의 열안정성의 개선)

  • 본 논문은 니켈실리사이드 (Ni-Silicide)의 열안정성을 개선하기 위해서 Ti와 TiN capping 층을 이용한 새로운 구조 Ni/Ti/Ni/Tin 구조를 제안하였다. 계면특성과 열안정성을 향상시키기 위해 타이타늄(Ti)을 니켈(Nickel) 사이에 적용하고, 니켈 실리사이드 형성 시 산소와의 반응을 억제하여 실리사이드의 응집현상을 개선시키고자 TiN capping을 적용 하였다. 니켈 실리사이드의 형성온도에 따른 $NiSi_2$로의 상변이를 억제할 수 있었고, 열안정성 평가를 위한 $700^{\circ}C$, 30분간 고온 열처리에서도 제안한 구조로 니켈실리사이드의 단면특성과 19 % 정도 면저항 특성을 개선하였다.

THE CHANGE OF CANAL CONFIGURATION AFTER INSTRUMENTATION BY SEVERAL NICKEL-TITANIUM FILES IN THE SIMULATED CANAL WITH ABRUPT CURVATURE (수종의 엔진구동형 니켈-타이타늄 파일에 의한 급한 만곡의 근관 성형시 근관형태 변화에 대한 비교연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate which type of Ni-Ti files are able to maintain canal configuration better in the simulated canal with abrupt curvature near it's apex. Ninety six simulated root canals were made in epoxy resin and $\sharp$15 finger spreader was used as root canal templates. The simulated root canals were made with radius of curvature of 1.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 6.0mm respectively and the angle of curvature of all simulated canals were adjusted to 90 degree. The simulated canals were instrumented by ProFile, ProTaper, Hero 642, and $K^3$ at a 300 rpm using crown-down pressureless technique. Pre-instrumented and post-instrumented images were taken by digital camera and were superimposed with Adobe Photos hop 6.0 program. Images were compared by image analysis program. The changes of canal width at the inner and outer side of the canal curvature. canal transportation were measured at 9 measuring point with 1 mm interval. Statistical analysis among the types of Ni-Ti files was performed using Kruskal-Wallis test and Mann-Whitney U-test. The result was that ProFile maintain original canal configuration better than other engine driven Ni-Ti files in the canals above 3.0mm radius of curvature, and in the 1.5mm radius of curvature, most of Ni-Ti flies were deformed or separated during instrumentation.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the canal configuration after shaping by ProFile. ProTaper and K-Flexofile in simulated resin canals with different angles of curvature. Three types of instruments were used: ProFile. ProTaper. K-Flexofile. Simulated root canals. which were made of epoxy resin. were prepared by ProFile. ProTaper with rotary instrument using a crown-down pressureless technique. and hand instrumentation was performed by K-Flexofile using a step-back technique. All simulated. canals were prepared up to size 25 file at end-point of preparation. Pre and post instrumentation images were recorded with Scanner. Assessment of canal shape was completed with Image Analysis program. Measurements were made at 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9 and 10mm from the apex. At each level. outer canal width. inner canal width. total canal width. and amount of transportation from original axis were recorded. Instrument deformation and fracture were recorded. Data were analyzed by means of one-way ANOVA analysis of variance and the Sheffe's test. The result was that ProFile and ProTaper maintain original canal shape regardless of the increase of angle of curvature than K-Flexofile. ProFile show significantly less canal transportation and maintained original canal shape better than ProTaper.

  • 마찰교반접합법은 특정한 회전수로 회전하는 용접 툴을 이용하여 접합하고자 하는 피접합재의 맞댄면에 삽입시킨 후 툴을 이동시키거나 혹은 시편을 견고하게 고정시킨 장치(backing plate)가 움직여 고상 상태에서 접합이 이루어진다. 알루미늄, 마그네슘 등 비교적 융점이 낮은 저융점 재료의 재료에 처음 적용이 되어 많은 연구가 활발히 진행되었고 타 용접방법에 비해 우수한 접합특성을 나타내었다. 최근 이러한 마찰교반접합은 이러한 저융점 재료를 넘어서 스틸, 타이타늄, 니켈 등과 같은 고융점 재료 등에 대한 적용이 늘어나고 있다. 마찰교반접합을 이용하여 이러한 고융점 재료의 접합 경우 내마모성 및 내열성 등의 내구성이 갖추어진 툴과 이러한 툴을 냉각시킬 수 있는 냉각 장치 등이 필요로 하나 경제적 측면이나 접합부의 우수한 특성 등을 고려 할 때 그 적용 및 발전 가능성이 매우 높다고 볼 수 있다. 최근 무공해 연료로 각광받고 있는 액화천연가스 (LNG)의 수요가 급증함에 따라 LNG 저장탱크 소재로 널리 사용되고 있는 9% Ni강의 수요 또한 증가하고 있는 상황이다. 하지만 9% Ni 강은 극저온용 소재로 용접부의 저온인성 ($-196^{\circ}C$)이 가장 중요하기 때문에 저온인성을 확보하고자 Inconel 계나 Hastelloy계 등의 니켈 기 합금을 용접재료로 사용하고 있으나 이러한 용접재료는 가격이 매우 고가이며 또한 용접 후 용접부의 강도가 낮다는 문제가 제기되고 있다. 또한 LNG 탱크 제작시 사용되는 용접법은 GTAW, SAW 및 SMAW 이지만 국내에서는 주로 SMAW에 의존하고 있는 실정인 관계로 보다 더 경제적인 용접 프로세스의 적용 가능성이 검토되고 있는 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 마찰교반용접을 이용하여 두께 4mm의 9% Ni 강에 대해 맞대기 마찰교반접합을 실시하였다. 툴 회전 속도 및 접합 속도를 고정한 상태에서 접합을 실시 하였으며 접합 시 툴은 $Si_3N_4$로 제작된 툴을 사용하였다. 접합 후 외관상태 점검, 미세조직 관찰, 경도, 인장 강도 및 저은 충격 측정 등의 실험을 실시하였고, 이러한 결과를 이용하여 미세조직과 기계적 특성과의 관련성을 조사하였다.

The Efficiency of the Ni-Ti Rotary Files in Curved Simulated Canals Shaped by Novice Operators (만곡모형근관에서 초심자가 근관형성시 Ni-Ti 전동파일의 효용성)

  • 여러 가지 장점으로 인해 Ni-Ti 전동 파일을 근관성형에 사용하는 빈도가 점차 증가되는 추세이지만, 초심자를 대상으로 한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초심자에서 Ni-Ti 전동 파일을 사용할 때 근관 형성의 효용성을 평가하고, 어떤 방법이 초심자에게 적절한지를 알아보고자 하였다. 근관형태가 재현된 레진 블록을 이용하여 12명의 초심자와 4명의 숙련자가 근관 형성을 시행하였다. 각 술자는 ProFile, ProTaper, Hybrid (ProFile+ProTaper)를 이용하여 각각의 레진 블록을 세 개씩 근관형성하고, 각 파일 별의 근관 형성 시간을 기록하였다. 근관 형성 전과 후의 digital 이미지를 중첩하여 치근단으로부터 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7mm level에서 근관단면의 총길이 변화량, 만곡 외측의 길이 변화량, 만곡 내측의 길이 변화량, 중심이동량, 중심이동율과 치근단에서의 apical transportation을 구하고, 초심자와 숙련자 사이의 차이를 비교 평가하였다. 실험결과 ProFile군의 1, 3, 5, 6, 7mm level과 ProTaper군의 6mm level, Hybrid군의 3mm level에서 초심자의 근관단면의 총길이 변화량이 숙련자보다 많았다. 모든 군에서 치근단으로부터 4, 5, 6, 7mm level에서는 근관 중심이 만곡내측으로 이동하였고, 1 2, 3mm level 에서는 만곡외측으로 이동하였으나, 숙련자가 시행한 Hybrid군의 3mm level과 비숙련자가 시행한 ProTaper 군의 3mm level에서는 만곡내측으로 이동하였다. 모든 군의 3mm level과 ProFile 군의 5mm level에서 초심자의 중심이동율이 숙련자에 비해 컸으며, 초심자가 ProTaper를 사용시 더 큰 apical trans portation을 보였고, 모든 군에서 초심자가 근관형성시 더 많은 시간이 걸렸다. ProFile과 ProTaper를 이용한 Hybrid technique이 초심자에게 추천되며, 초심자들도 충분히 교육받는다면 만곡된 근관의 근관형성에 있어서 Ni-Ti rotary file의 이용이 가능하리라고 사료된다.

COMPARISON OF SHAPING ABILITY OF NICKEL-TITANIUM ROTARY FILES WITH DIFFERENT TAPER IN SIMULATED RESIN CANALS (모형레진 근관에서 엔진 구동용 니켈-타이타늄 파일의 경사도의 차이에 따른 근관성형력의 비교)

  • The aim of this study was to compare shaping ability of nickel-titanium rotary files with different taper in simulated resin canals. The instruments used in this study were GT with .04 taper ProFile with ISO-sized tip, .04 taper ProFile with ISO-sized tip alone, and .02 taper Naviflex file and all canals were prepared by crown-down technique. A total of 30 composite images were made from pre- and post-canal scanned images using Scanjet 4C scanner and Corel photopaint 8.0 and then, prevalence of canal aberrations was measured. The amount of coronal substance the instruments removed was also calculated two-dimensionally on digitized images with the Brain C software to compare the relative enlarging efficiency. Finally, the prepared internal canal form was evaluated three-dimensionally with impression technique. The results were as follows; 1. The incidence of zipping in Naviflex group was significantly high compared to the other two groups(P<.05). 2. The amount of coronal substance the GT combined group removed was significantly larger than the other two groups(P<.05). 3. The GT combined group produced canals with good taper and flow. Under the conditionas of this study, the combined use of larger tapered nickel-titanium rotary files prepared simulated canals safely, efficiently and with good three-dimensional form.

SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPIC STUDY ON THE EFFICACY OF ROOT CANAL WALL DEBRIDEMENT OF ROTARY NI-TI INSTRUMENTS WITH DIFFERENT CUTTING ANGLE (엔진 구동형 니켈-타이타늄 합금파일의 절삭각에 따른 근관성형 효과에 관한 전자현미경적 연구)

  • The purpose of this in vitro study was to compare the effects of root canal cleanness following two Ni-Ti rotary instruments with different rake angle. Thirty-six sound, extracted human premolars with single root were randomly divided into three groups. The used rotary instruments were HEROShaper (Group 1, Micro-Mega, Besancon, France, n=12) and ProFile (Group 2, Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland, n=12). Control group (n=12) was only extirpated with barbed broach (Mani, Matsutani Seisakusho Co., Japan) Group 1 & 2 teeth were prepared to a #40/.04 taper at the apex followed by 1 mm using crown-down technique. After canal preparation and frequent irrigation with 5.25% sodium hypochlorite, the roots split longitudinally into a bucco-lingual direction. Root halves were cross-sectioned in apical third portion again. All root specimens were processed for SEM investigation and photographed. Separate evaluations by one endodontist were undertaken for smear layer on prepared walls with a five score-index for each using reference photograph in root halves. The penetration depth of smear layer into dentinal tubules was also estimated in the other halves. Following results were obtained: 1. Smear layer was observed on all the prepared walls with two experimental groups except control group. 2. Smear layer characteristics in two experimental groups; 1) HEROShaper group showed snowy, dusty appearance and were shown open dentinal tubuli on the prepared walls of almost specimens, and the thickness of smear layer covering onto dentinal surfaces was within 1-2 ${\mu}m$ in a few specimens. 2) ProFile group showed shiny, burnished appearance and complete root canal wall covered by a homogenous smear layer with no open dentinal tubuli in all specimens. The penetration of smear layer into dentinal tubules was found in all specimens and the thickness was at 2-4 ${\mu}m$ in all specimens. These results demonstrated that a completely clean root canal could not be achieved regardless of positive or negative rake angle, which is in accordance with the majority of previous studies on root canal cleanliness In conclusion, through irrigation with antibacterial solutions or chelating agents is recommended to remove the smear layer on prepared canal wall in spite of Ni-Ti instrumentation.

Mechanical properties of nickel titanium and steel alloys under stress-strain test

  • The great variety of commercial brands of orthodontic wires available on the market, stimulated by the so called superior wires (nickel titanium with shape memory effect and superelastic nickel titanium), makes the professional choice for a suitable and less expensive material difficult. The in vitro study of the mechanical properties of the orthodontic wires acts as an auxiliary tool for the professional. In this paper, a comparative study of mechanical properties was made, using stress strain tests for 4 types of orthodontic wires (conventional stainless steel, multistranded steel, superelastic nickel titanium and thermoactivated nickel titanium) separated into 5 groups. A series of 6 tests were tested for each group of wires. Initially, each group was tested 3 times until the wires broke. Furthermore, 3 more tests for each group were performed, stretching the wires under standardized activation loads, for a reliable comparison of their mechanical properties, during loading and unloading. 1 tests were applied to check differences among the groups. In vitro, the results suggest that regarding the mechanical properties supposedly desirable for physiological teeth movement, such as resilience, elasticity modulus, strength liberated during unloading, and the way that strength is liberated, thermoactivated nickel titanium wires, acting under mouth temperature, seems to be a good choice, fellowed by superelastic nickel titanium, multistranded stainless steel, and conventional stainless sleet. Superelasticity was demonstrated for superelastic nickel titanium wires. When at $37^{\circ}C$, thermoactivated nickel titanium wires showed shape memory effect, showing that temperature is important for enhancing the mechanical properties.
