  • In this paper we propose a series active power filter and a simple calculation method acquiring the reference voltage. A series active power filter is suitable to suppress harmonics produced by voltage type harmonic source such as a diode rectifier with filter capacitor on the DC side The proposed series active power filter system is applied to 3-phase 3-wire power system including the voltage type harmonic source. Experimental result obtained from a laboratory model are shown to verify the viability and effectiveness of the proposed system.

  • In this paper a control technique for active power filters is proposed which not only eliminates the harmonic current, but also controls the reactive power at the ac side of PWM inverter-induction motor drive system. Injecting the proposed PWM current enables the harmonic components of orders not greater than the pulse number per half-cycle to be removed completely. It also enables the input power factor to become unity. Theoretical investigations are performed to evaluate the performance of the proposed control technique.

  • The active filter system for harmonic current compensation is presented in this paper. The active filter, composed of a three-phase voltage-type PWM inverter and the capacitor, compensates both the harmonic currents and the reactive power by injecting the PWM current to the ac line. This paper describes the principle of harmonic current compensation, the calculation circuits for the harmonic currents to be injected, the several compensation characteristics. Also the experimental results are shown to verify the theory proposed in this paper.

  • This paper proposes an implementation of a line- voltage sensorless three-phase active power filter. The line synchronization for an active power filter does not require any additional hardware. It can be properly operated under various line-voltage variation. Current compensation is done in the time domain allowing fast time response. All control functions are implemented in software using a single-chip microcontroller, thus simplifying the control circuit. It is shown via experimental results that the proposed controller gives good performance for the line-voltage sensorless active power filter.

  • A control technique for current-fed filters is proposed which not only eliminates the harmonic current, but also controls the reactive power at the ac sides of PWM inverter-induction motor drive system. Injecting the proposed PWM current enables the harmonic components of orders not greater than the number of pulses per half-cycle to be removed completely. Also it enables the input fundamental power factor to become unity and hence total input power factor can be improved greatly. Digital simulation is performed to investigate the theoretical output characteristics of the current-fed filters by the proposed control technique.

  • 본 논문은 계통 연계형 인버터 제어에 있어서 계통 임피던스에 의한 계통전압 왜곡을 분석하고 있다. 특히 계통 연계형 인버터의 설계단계에서는 고려되지 않지만, 실제 시스템 구현 시에는 일반적으로 널리 사용되는 저주파트랜스의 누설 인덕턴스에 의한 영향을 살펴보았다. 계통 임피던스에 의해 계통 전압의 왜곡이 발생하고 이로 인해 저차 고조파 성분의 전류가 계통으로 유입되게 되는데, 본 논문에서는 이 저차 고조파에 대해 분석하고, 이를 감쇄시키는 기법을 소개한다. 제안하는 방법은 1.5kW 전압형 인버터의 시물레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • In this paper, we study a series active power filter to compensate current harmonics and unbalanced source voltages. Conventional control methods for compensating unbalanced source voltages use source voltages to calculate compensation voltages, and in addition use load voltages to regulate load voltages. But the proposed control method uses load voltage to compensate unbalanced source voltages and regulate load voltages. And we propose a control method to reduce current harmonics which can calculate compensation voltages directly from source currents and load voltages. By well-matched operation of two control methods, the series active power filter can compensate current harmonics, unbalanced source voltages, and regulate load voltages. We compose a combined system of the series active power filter and parallel passive filters to confirm a validity of proposed control methods. The results from experiments are presented to demonstrate effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • Phase Locked Loop(PLL) 시스템은 UPS, 전력용 능동필터, PWM 정류기 등 여러 전력변환 장비에서 사용되어 왔다. 특히 계통에 연계된 능동 전력변환 시스템은 계통과의 동기화를 위해 위상각의 정확한 정보가 필요하며 PLL 시스템을 사용하여 측정한다. 실제 계통의 위상각과 추출된 위상각 사이의 오차는 기준 전류나 전압에 더 큰 고조파를 야기한다. 본 논문은 계통 고장에 강인한 PLL 시스템의 제어기를 제안한다.

  • In this paper, a recurrent cerebellar modulation articulation control (RCMAC) has been developed for improvement of noise attenuation performance in active noise control system. For the narrow band noise, a filter-x least mean square (FXLMS) method has bee frequently employed as an algorithm for active noise control (ANC) and has a partial satisfactory noise attenuation performance. However, noise attenuation performance of an ANC system with FXLMS method is poor for broad band noise and nonlinear path since it has linear filtering structure. Thus, an ANC system using RCMAC is proposed to improve this problem. Some simulations in duct system using harmonic motor noise and KTX cabin noise as a noise source were executed. It is shown that satisfactory noise attenuation performance can be obtained.

  • 본 논문에서는 저 전압원과 고 전압원간의 양방향 전력 변환에 적합한 절연형 양방향 DC-DC 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안하는 컨버터는 저압 측에 전류형 능동 클램프 푸쉬풀 컨버터 구조와 고압 측에 배전압 회로를 가지는 하프 브릿지 구조를 가진다. 저압 측의 전류형 컨버터의 적용은 별도의 필터 없이도 저압 측의 전류 리플의 저감 효과 시킬 수 있으며, 고 주파수 변압기의 턴 비를 낮출 수 있다. 또한 배전압 회로를 통해 전류 대비 고압 측 소자의 전압 스트레스의 저감 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 최종적으로 제안하는 컨버터의 모의 실험결과를 통해 타당성을 검증한다.
