Longitudinal Elongation of Slender Reinforced Concrete Beams Subjected to Cyclic Loading (주기하중을 받는 세장한 철근콘크리트 보의 길이방향 인장변형)

  • Longitudinal elongation develops in reinforced concrete beams that exhibit flexural yielding during cyclic loading. The longitudinal elongation can decrease the shear strength and deformation capacity of the beams. In the present study, nonlinear truss model analysis was performed to study the elongation mechanism of reinforced concrete beams. The results showed that residual tensile plastic strain of the longitudinal reinforcing bar in the plastic hinge is the primary factor causing the member elongation, and that the shear-force transfer mechanism of diagonal concrete struts has a substantial effect on the magnitude of the elongation. Based on the analysis results, a simplified method for evaluating member elongation was developed.   • Structural integrity of railway vehicles should last for a long period against various and continuous fatigue loadings, and the carbody structures of railway vehicle are manufactured by applying multiform welding types for each material. Since the most of cracks are occurred and proceeded at the vicinity of welding area during the lifetime of carbody structure, the fatigue strength evaluation for welding area of carbody structure should have been carried out. Rotem Company has evaluated lifetime and fatigue strength of carbody structure according to the fatigue analysis based on the international standard and/or inner-official regulation. This study introduces the fatigue analysis method that we have evaluated and calculated the damages for the welding areas of carbody structure under various fatigue loading conditions using cumulative fatigue damage rule(Miner's rule) to verify whether the cumulative damage does exceed unity. This study contains the fatigue test of specimens to derive stress-life relations(S-N curve), sub-modeling analysis and the calculation of cumulative damages under fatigue loading. The fatigue analysis verifies the welding area shall be capable of withstanding under fatigue loading, identifies how critical area shall be selected and presents the principles to be used for design verification.

  • The characteristics of fatigue cumulative damage and fatigue life of 8-harness satin woven CFRP composites with a circular hole under constant amplitude and 2-level block loading are estimated by Stochastic Makov chain model. It is found in this study that the fatigue damage accumulation behavior is very random and the fatigue damage is accumulated as two regions under constant amplitude fatigue loading. In constant amplitude fatigue loading the predicted mean number of cycles to a specified damage state by Markov chain model shows a good agreement with the test result. The predicted distribution of the fatigue cumulative damage by Markov chain model is similar to the test result. The fatigue life predictions under 2-level block loading by Markov chain model revised are good fitted to the test result more than by 2-parameter Weibull distribution function using percent failure rule.

  • In the last five years (2013~2017), we analyzed what factors influenced Korean films that have surpassed 10 million viewers in the Korean movie industry, where the total number of moviegoers is over 200 million. In general, many people consider the number of screens and ratings as important factors that affect the audience's success. In this study, four additional factors, including the number of screens and ratings, were established to establish a hypothesis and correlate it with the presence of 10 million spectators through big data analysis. The results were significant, with 91 percent accuracy in predicting 10 million viewers and 99.4 percent accuracy in estimating cumulative attendance.

  • The space radiation/total ionizing Dose(TID) and its effects, and the GEO satellite system design considerations in space radiation environment are studied in this paper using Spenvis(Space Environment Information System). The GEO satellite system in space environment is simulated by NASA AP8/AE8, JPL91 and NRL CREME models, repectively for trapped particle, solar proton and cosmic-ray. The total ionizing Dose which is accumulated continuously to spacecraft electronics has been expressed as the function of aluminum thickness. These values can be used as the criteria for the selection of electronic parts and shielding thickness of the Digital Channel Amplifier(DCAMP) structure.

  • 한국 문학이 세계로 뻗어나감에 따라 해외 시장에서 자리를 잡는 것이 중요해진 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 2016 년도부터 2020 년도까지 최근 5 년간 해외 출간된 도서들 중에서 굿셀러로 분류되는 누적 5 천부 이상 판매 여부를 예측하고자 했다. 굿셀러로 분류되는 도서는 전체 번역 도서 중 적은 비율을 차지하여 데이터 불균형이 발생하였으며, 본 연구에서는 SMOTE 기법과 앙상블 알고리즘을 적용하여 데이터 불균형 문제를 해결하였다. 그 결과, 데이터 클래스 비율이 1:1 에 가까울수록 성능 개선 효과가 나타났으며 LightGBM 모델이 99.83%의 AUC 값을 얻어 다른 앙상블 알고리즘에 비해 가장 좋은 예측 성능을 보임을 검증하였다. 또한 누적 5 천부 이상 판매 여부 예측에 있어 큰 영향을 미치는 변수로는 작가가 가장 중요한 요인으로 나타났으며 출간 국가, 그리고 평점 평균, 평점 참여자 수 같은 온라인 요인도 판매 예측에 유의미한 변수로 나타난 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

자율운항선박의 운항 경로 예측 및 운항 해역 항적 정보 기반의 비상상황인식 프레임워크 설계

  • 본 논문에서는 자율운항선박의 예측 가능한 운항 경로 상에 잠재된 비상상황을 인식하기 위하여 운항 해역의 항적 정보를 활용한 방안과 이를 기반으로 충돌 위험과 같은 비상위험을 식별하는 프레임워크를 설계하였다. 설계한 프레임워크는 크게 항적 특성 분석 모듈, 항로예측 모듈, 위험 식별 모듈로 구성된다. 항적 특성 분석 모듈에서는 자율운항선박의 운항 해역에 관한 선박들의 항적 정보를 활용하기 위하여, 대상 VTS 관제 영역 내에서 취합된 누적 선박자동식별장치(AIS) 데이터를 이용하여 선박의 항적 특성을 분석하여 데이터베이스(DB)를 생성하였다. 그리고 운항 경로 예측 모듈에서는 누적된 항적 정보와 자율운항선박의 현재 운항 정보를 기반으로 특정 시간 동안의 운항 경로를 예측하기 위한 학습 네트워크 모델을 구성하였다. 마지막으로, 위험 식별 모듈에서는 예측한 운항 경로 상에 최근접점과 최근접점 거리 정보를 이용하여 충돌 위험 가능성이 있는 충돌위험영역을 식별하였다. 설계한 프레임워크는 자율운항선박의 육상 관제소에서 원격 제어를 통해 위험상황을 인지하고 회피할 수 있는 정보를 제공할 수 있음을 실제 항적 데이터를 활용하여 그 결과를 검증하였다.

Integral Method of Stability Analysis and Maintenance of Slope (비탈면 안정해석과 유지관리의 통합해석기법)

  • Even if the various data analyzing methods were suggested to examine the measured slope behaviors, it is difficult to find methods or procedures for connecting the analyzed results of slope stability and measured slope data. This research suggests the analyzing methods combing the stability analysis and measured data based on progressive failure of slope. Slope failure analysis by time degradation were calculated by strength parameters composed of strength reduction coefficients, also which were compared to the measured data according to the variations of safety factor and displacement of slopes. The accumulated displacement curve were shown as 3rd degree polynomials by suggested procedures, which was the same as before researches. The reverse displacement velocity curves were shown as linear function for prediction of brittle slope failures, also they were shown as 3rd degree polynomials for ductile slope failures, which were the same as the suggested equation by Fukuzono (1985) and they were very similar behaviors to the in-situ failure cases.

Ideal Body Modeling of Rock Frost-thawing (이상물체를 이용한 암반의 동결융해 Modeling)

  • If the groundwater in rock joint is changed into ice, it induces the stress increment by volume increase. Also, if the ice is changed into groundwater again, the stress in joint decreases by volume decrease. The accumulated displacement and fatigues of joints are increased by the stress-hysterisis, induced from the continuous frost-thawing. Also the shear strength is decreased by them continuously. The stress-hysterisis is affected by the atmospheric temperature changes, whose behavior is visco-elasticity, usually. Therefore, Kelvin model could be used to analyze the frost-thawing behavior in winter. The measured data of total 5 points are examined, which are composed of 3 points of shallow joints and 2 points of deep joints. Because shallow weathered rocks have many joints, a lot of Kelvin model are connected and the behaviors are complicated. In case of deep joints, simple Kelvin model is applied and the behaviors are also simple.

Assessment technology for spatial interaction of Artificial Monitoring System through 3-dimensional Simulation (3차원 시뮬레이션을 이용한 인위감시체계의 공간대응성능 평가기술)

  • CCTV-applied monitoring is an effective measure to suppress potential crimes and record objective relationship; however, there is no methodology that can quantitatively compare and assess the afore-mentioned effects. Thus, this study intended to construct the methodology and analysis application that can measure the changes in the space-corresponding performance of CCTVs depending on installation measures by using 3-dimenstional virtual simulation technology. For analysis, the raster-based Isovist theory was 3-dimensionally expanded and the amount of incident sight line to each point was accumulated. At the same time, the amount of overlapped monitoring in the CCTV cameras that were connected to each measurement node was accumulated for cross-analysis. By applying the examples and analyzing the results, it was possible to construct an analysis application in use of collision detection model and quantify the changes of monitoring performance depending on positioning alternative of the cameras. Moreover, it enabled intuitive review and supplementation by reproducing visible shadow areas in a graph.
