  • 친환경인증제도란 환경에 농산물(예: 농약을 사용하지 않은 유기농산물), 친환경건축자재, 친환경건축물 등등 다양한 분야에 적용되는 인증제도입니다. 농약의 환경보전 기능을 증대시키고, 농업으로 인한 환경오염을 줄임으로 일반농산물을 친환경농산물로 허위 또는 둔갑표시하는 것으로부터 생산자.소비자를 보호하기 위해 유통과정에서의 신뢰구축으로 친환경농산물 생산과 공급체계를 확립하기 위한 것입니다. 그 동안 증산위주의 고투입농법에 의존해 온 결과 농업환경이 약화되어 지속가능한 농업생산을 위협하고 지나친 농약사용은 토양미생물, 천적감소 등 생태계 교란, 수질오염 및 농산물의 농약잔류문제를 야기하는 등 관련 국제규범이 제정됨으로써 환경보전 및 식품안전에 대한 국민의 관심제고에 적극적인 대응 필요에 만들어 졌습니다.

Survey of Pesticide use in Fruit Vegetables, Fruits, and Rice Cultivation Areas in Korea (과채류, 과수류 및 벼 재배지역에서 농약사용 실태)

  • In order to survey the actual pesticide usage, this survey was carried out on the growers of 3 plant groups, fruit vegetables, fruits and rice field, from 2009 to 2011. 390 farmers were selected from main production areas to investigate their pesticide application during the growing seasons. Input amounts per area of domestic fruit vegetables was surveyed as 11.6 kg a.i./ha for red pepper of field culture, 2.0 kg a.i./ha for red pepper of greenhouse, 2.3 kg a.i./ha for strawberry, 2.2 kg a.i./ha for watermelon, 4.8 kg a.i./ha for cucumber, 1.5 kg a.i./ha for oriental melon and 2.1 kg a.i./ha for tomato, respectively. Input amounts per area on fruits and on rice field were surveyed as 11.7 kg a.i./ha for apple, 12.5 kg a.i./ha for pear, 7.7 kg a.i./ha for peach, 4.5 kg a.i./ha for grape, 40.0 kg a.i./ha for citrus 5.4 kg a.i./ha for persimmon, and 3.46 kg a.i./ha for rice, respectively. As a result of the actual pesticide usage survey, The safety guideline for pesticide use is generally kept well by all farmers of fruits vegetables, fruits and rice.

Survey on Pesticide Use by Ginseng Growers at Gangwon Farmland in Korea (강원도 인삼재배지 농약 사용 실태)

  • This study aims to investigate if the properly use of pesticide in Ginseng farmland at Gangwon-do, Korea. Questionnaire included 36 questions such as control method for plant diseases, pests and weeds and pattern of pesticide use was answered by 271 Ginseng farmers lived in 4 cities and 8 counties at Gangwon-do. Ginseng farmers have noxious plant diseases, insects and weeds such as leaf spot, anthracnose, snail, stem-mining fly, horseweed and hairy crabgrass. To control of these, 35% of farmers relied on various type of pesticides and 31.5% of farmers used pesticides mingling with natural enemy, microorganism and organic materials. Farmers selected the pesticide based on the their own experiences or by recommendation of market dealers and neighbors, resulting in the use of inappropriate pesticides in the Ginseng farmland(78.8 % ). They followed standard dosage of the pesticide from Handbook of Pesticide Application(96.3%). They, however, used the same pesticides from 2 to 5 years(44.1 %). This consecutive use of pesticide could be induced resistance. This survey resulted that study for pesticide resistance and systematic educational program for proper use and selection of pesticide to Gingseng farmers should be conducted in farmland at Gangwon-do, Korea.

농업기술 - 농약중독 시 응급처치

  • 농약은 양면성을 갖고 있다. 즉 농약은 병해충 방제와 농촌의 노동력을 줄일 수 있는 측면에서 농업생산성 향상에 크게 기여하지만, 농약을 사용할 때 방심하거나 주의사항을 소홀히 하는 경우 농약중독 사고 등으로 농업인에게 건강과 경제적 피해를 주기도 한다. 이 같은 농약중독은 누간 겪을 수 있는 문제이므로 농업인은 농약중독 시 응급처리 방법에 대해 항상 숙지하였다가 신속히 대처해야 한다. 소개하는 농약에 노출된 형태에 따른 농약중독의 응급처치 방안을 잘 읽어보시고 잘 보이는 곳에 두고 잊지 않도록 한다.

  • Consumer protection and prevention of foodborne diseases are essential elements of food safety program for every country The food safety program proposed by WHO was introduced and the importance of GAP in establishing residue limits of intentional additives in food production was emphasized. The procedures and differences in establishing maximum residue limits of pesticides on food crops by Codex Alimentarius Commission and Korea were explained. Finally, considerations in harmonization of Korean standards with Codex MRLs were suggested.

Pesticide Residues in Agricultural Products and Its Countermeasures for Safety (우리나라 농산물중의 잔류농약과 안전성)

  • Pesticides are regarded as one of indispensable materials used in agriculture to protect pests and to keep the agricultural productions steadily. However, food contamination arisen from their application has brought about public concerns for safety suspicion to human health. A brief presentation is given in this paper on what has been conducted against pesticide residues to evaluate and ensure the safety of agro-porducts. The commonest countermeasures to keep safety would be tile establishment of MRls and safe-use guidelines of pesticides according to good agricultural practices. Korean MRls have been established on 38 chemicals with 56 commodities and in the case of safe-use guidelines 344 formulation items have been done by the government On the other hand, no satisfactory information is still available to evalute the actual residue levels in domestic agro-products, but a cautious proposal could be suggested through the fragmentary monitoring data of pesticide residues, so that the current residue levels would be far from potent hazard enough to cause chronic impact on human. The most important thing is to have the farmers keep safe use guidelines at pesticide application for the production of safe agricultural commodities.
