본 논문에서는 일반책에서의 정적 컨텐츠 요소와 오디오나 동영상 등의 멀티미디어 요소를 디지털 형태의 정보로 가공 및 저장하여 전자북을 편집할 수 있는 전자 출판 시스템을 설계한다. 기존의 전자북들은 멀티미디어 요소들을 보기 위한 별도의 전용 뷰어 설치가 요구되며, 서로 다른 포맷이나 다양한 프로그램들로 제작되어 문서의 통합 저장 및 관리가 어려운 실정이다. 본 논문에서 설계한 시스템은 별도의 전용 뷰어 대신 익스플로어와 같은 일반적인 뭔 브라우저를 이용하는 웹 뷰어를 지원하고, XML을 사용하여 보다 효율적으로 정보의 통합 관리 및 저장을 지원함으로써 다양한 컨텐츠 정보의 고수준의 재사용성을 제공한다. 또한, 웹상에서의 멀티미디어 요소들의 표현 시 요구되는 동기화 처리 기술을 위하여 SMIL을 이용함으로써 보다 다양한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 및 멀티미디어 요소들의 시간적, 이벤트 발생적 동기화를 지원하여 정보 전달의 이해도를 놀일 수 있도록 한다. 설계 시스템은 웹 상에서 전자북을 보기위한 웹 뷰어, 전자북 출판 시 텍스트와 멀티미디어 요소를 표현하는 XML과 SMIL문서를 각각 자동적으로 생성하는 XMLnSMIL 에디터, 생성된 각 문서들을 데이터베이스에 저장하기 위한 XMLnSMIL2DB 저장기, 데이터베이스 내의 데이터들로 부터 XML과 SMIL문서를 자동으로 생성하는 DB2XMLnSMIL 생성기 등으로 구성된다.

In the 21s1 century, it may be possible to offer comprehensive service by integrating all communication media under the development of digital technology without the classification of broadcasting and communication. In addition, it will be begun to perform HDTV broadcasting by focusing on the Metropolitan area in 2001yr and will permit over 100 channels for satellite communication, thus multi-channel TV broadcasting age has come in Korea. Therefore, this study is to identify the future environment of TV broadcasting and service area in ISDB age and to present new interactive type publication satellite TV transmission system, which provides customizing type digital screen book publication, by analyzing satellite broadcasting technology to create Korean cultural area around the Korean peninsula.

The emergence of digital library has been recognized as the paradigm shift of medium from paper to electronic, or that of the library function from ownership to access. From the point of view that digital information is the core constituent of digital library and is produced by electronic publishing, this paper explores the relationship between electronic publishing and digital library with special attention on recent digital library projects. And investigates the possibility of the transformation of scholarly communication system through digital library function as well as the impact of electronic publishing on the library functions.

Research libraries have been facing serials crisis, that is the difficulties in providing information which caused by high and rapidly increasing cost of scientific journal subscriptions. This economic problem resulted in the imbalance between scholarly Publication and library resources. University libraries recognized that the commercialization of research information is at the core of the economic problem. This paper analyzes the trials and suggestions of faculty, universities, and professional societies in the United States to reforming scholarly communication system to take back intellectual property from commercial publishers and to improve scientific information exchange.

‘Guidebook of Standard Agreement in Korea Cartoon Business’ was officially announced by Korea Culture & Content Agency. We try to make this as a standard agreement for both cartoonist and publisher through mating the most of it. As this ‘standard agreement’ is the result of government sponsored research, it ought to be used for the profits of both, cartoonist and publisher. After investigation for unequal terms if any , I tried to find other alternatives for the development of this part. The objectives of my study is as follows; first, for the circumstance in which cartoonists can be devoted to his work without any insecurity in the part of ‘agreement’. Second, publisher can publish more of good contents with the help of those cartoonists.

Th term "hybrid library" refers to the collection of material in print, electronic and other media library hold and give access to. 학술지는 책자 형태에서 전자 파일 형태로 급속히 변화하고 있다. 또한, 최근 전자 저널의 원문은 PDF에서 XML로 바뀌는 추세에 있다. 학술지 원문 XML은 JATS(Journal Article Tag Suite)라는 ANSI/NISO 표준을 따라 만드는 것이 보편화 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 우리나라 학술지를 XML로 구축하고 국제적으로 서비스하기 위해서 만들어진 전자저널 출판 모델을 설계하고, 이를 개발 구현한 내용을 소개한다. 개발된 전주기 학술지 출판 플랫폼(KPubS)는 리눅스 기반 스프링 프레임워크와 MVC 패턴 및 시큐어 코딩 기법을 적용하여 개발하였으며, 반응형 웹 기술을 적용하였다.

최근 분산된 노드들 간의 자료를 송수신하는 임베디드 어플리케이션들이 증가함에 따라 이를 지원하기 위한 분산 미들웨어도 함께 발전하고 있다. 분산미들웨어는 원격 객체 관리를 위한 클라이언트-서버 모델, 큐를 이용한 메시지 전송을 목적으로 하는 메시지 패싱 모델, 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에서 자료의 전송을 목적으로 하는 출판-구독 모델이라는 3가지 모델로 분류 된다. 본 논문에서는 3가지 분산 미들웨어 모델들에 대하여 살펴보고 출판-구독 모델의 대표적 분산미들웨어인 Data Distribution Service를 소개한다. 또한 출판-구독 모델이 단말 간 P2P를 지원함에 따라 생기는 문제점인 과다한 트래픽을 해결하기 위해 자료들을 그룹화 시켜 전송하거나 특정 토픽에 관련된 자료들을 미리 예약된 채널을 통해 전송하는 기법들을 제안하고 일반 DDS와 비교를 통해 그 효과를 예측해본다.

최근 데이터 산업 발전과 함께 데이터를 저장, 공유, 거래가 가능한 다양한 데이터 저장소와 거래소가 증가하고 있다. 대부분의 데이터 저장소 및 거래소는 데이터 검색과 공유를 위해 DCAT 기반 메타데이터를 구성하고 있다. 하지만 DCAT 기반 메타데이터는 웹 검색 엔진에서 검색이 잘되지 않는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이는 웹에서 자원을 출판하기 위한 데이터 모델 기법이 Schema.org 방법을 사용하고 있기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 이런 문제점을 해결하기 위해 DCAT 기반 메타데이터를 Schema.org 방법으로 변환할 수 있는 새로운 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 변환 기법은 데이터 저장소와 거래소 내 데이터셋이 웹에서 잘 검색될 수 있는 웹 출판 기능을 지원한다.
