  • 세계는 지금 기후변화와 자원위기로 심각한 위협에 직면하고 있다. 이처럼 에너지와 환경문제가 국가경제의 미래와 기업 생존을 결정하는 주요변수로 부각되고 있으나 대다수의 중소기업들은 정보 기술 인력 부족 등으로 인해 녹색성장 방향에 적절히 대응하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본고에서는 중소기업의 녹색성장 정책 현황 및 대응방안에 대해 알아보자 한다.

  • We should have a new perspective on the words, green and growth, to have a full understanding of them and consider the environment itself as leading to the nation's growth. The green growth policy is to convert the paradigm of economic growth into one with a good circle of environment and growth. However, as each country has a different view of the green growth policy, we will see how the countries carry out the policy and how the companies and people accept it. To do this, we will employ an actual analysis and propose a green growth strategy for the nation. The following are from the actual analysis in the article: 1. The GG policy is not just limited on the environmental problems but related to the nation's well-being as well. 2. Energy policy should be defined as the core thing of the GG policy and energy effectiveness among others things should be carried out on a short term basis. 3. Developing a strategy using IT is necessary for the GG policy. 4. Very careful approach should be taken to build a master plan for the nation bearing effective outcome of the policy. 5. The GG policy should be regarded as a social reformative one motivating the nation's much interest in it.

An Analysis on the Costs and Outcomes of Green Technology Innovation : Focusing on Production Innovation Activities in Manufacturing SMEs in Korea (녹색기술개발의 비용과 혁신성과에 관한 연구 : 중소기업 생산환경혁신 활동을 중심으로)

  • When assessing environmental or other regulatory programs, economists and other policy analysts have traditionally used the approach that consists of comparing the benefits from regulation with the costs that must be borne to capture these benefits. The vast majority of economic analysis of regulation was based upon the assumption that regulations increase production costs. Porter had disputed this seemingly straightforward claim. In his view, economists had failed to incorporate the capacity of stringent regulations to induce innovation into their analysis. However, at the same time, the hypothesis had been criticized by economists. This study analyzed the determinants of innovation performances as well as activities of small and medium manufacturers, based on a recently held survey among mainly manufacturing SMEs in Korea. In particular, this study took the level of innovation activities, the strength of environmental regulations, and moreover the impediment that the company went through as factors. In addition, the characteristics of innovative SMEs were compared with the other counterparts. The empirical analysis revealed that the level of environmental awareness, existence of innovative activities, characteristics of firms, and moreover the innovation types are the most important determinants of SMEs’ innovation performance both in technology as well as in economic perspective.

  • 'Green경영'은 기업활동 전반의 환경영향을 최소화하고 Green 제품 확대, Green 신사업 강회를 통해 새로운 고객가치를 창출하는 동시에 국가 및 사회에 기여하는 적극적이고 능동적인 경영이다. 과거 환경경영이 환경관리를 주요 방침으로 삼고, 환경에 대한 영향을 최소화하기 위해 사업장의 환경관리를 중심으로 전개되었다면, Green 경영은 Green 사업장 조성뿐만 아니라 Green 제품 확대, Green 신사업 강화를 통해 전세계적 이슈인 기후변화 문제에 대응하고, 저탄소 녹색성장에 기여하여 지속성장을 도모하는 것이 주목적이다. LG화학은 Green 경영을 통해 제조 공정상의 에너지 효율을 개선하고 온실가스 감축, 물(원수) 사용량 절감, 그린에너지 생산 등과 같은 직접적인 기여뿐만 아니라 에너지 효율이 높은 제품을 판매, 소비단계에서의 온실가스 배출을 줄이고 태양전지, LED, 전기차 배터리 등 Green 신사업를 확대하는 등의 간접적 기여를 통해 지구 전체의 온실가스 감축에 기여하고자 한다. 한편 기후변화 관련 국내외 규제에 능동적으로 대응하고, 국내외 에너지 정세 변화에 따른 영향을 최소화하기 위하여 온실가스 배출량 관리, 신재생에너지 시스템 설치, 스마트그리드 시범사업 참여 등 다양한 활동을 전개하고 있다.
