The purpose of this study is to present basic data for developing patient-centered care by identifying the current situation and problems of caregivers' protection management for the problem behaviors of the elderly with dementia targeting caregivers working at three nursing hospitals among the facilities for the elderly in the Uiseong area. From January 2021 to July 2021, 1 caregiver with less than 1 year, 5 caregivers with 1 to 3 years of care, and 2 caregivers with 4 years or more, who are directly caring for the elderly with dementia in clinical practice working at a nursing hospital, managing and supervising them A total of 13 patients were included, including 3 nurses and 2 secretary generals. As a qualitative case study, the results of caregivers' protective management for the problem behaviors of the elderly with dementia were listed in mental, physical, and relational aspects. Conflicts in the process and the results of conflicts in the care process with hospital managers are listed based on case studies. More specifically, the efforts and passion of researchers to understand the problem behaviors of the elderly with dementia and to devise and verify practical management methods based on this are urgently needed. It will be necessary to secure data of various case studies in clinical practice through research methods.

This study was intended to understand the status of dysphagia related knowledge, attitude and nursing performance of nursing staff's in geriatric hospitals, to confirm the correlation among these, and to provide basic resources for dysphagia nursing intervention programs. The 220 subjects were nursing staff's who worked in geriatric hospitals located in G city and N city. For data analysis, The descriptive statistic was used to analyze the subjects' general characteristics, and dysphagia related characteristics, knowledge, attitude and nursing performance degree. For the differences of dysphagia related knowledge, attitude and nursing performance according to the subjects' general characteristics, t-test and ANOVA were used. The correlation of the subjects' knowledge, attitude and nursing performance degree was analyzed with Pearson's correlation coefficient. The score of the subjects' dysphagia related knowledge was average 14.07±2.94, the subjects' dysphagia related attitude was average 3.59±0.39, the subjects' dysphagia nursing performance was 3.10±0.43. dysphagia nursing performance had a significantly positive correlation with dysphagia related knowledge(r=0.295, p=.000) and dysphagia related attitude(r=0.392, p=.000). The above result of the study indicated positive attitude based on accurate knowledge is needed for nursing staff's in geriatric hospitals to improve nursing performance for dysphagia. When education programs for dysphagia are planned in geriatric hospitals, it is necessary to consider knowledge level and attitude simultaneously.

The purpose of this study was to propose and estimate the architectural planning of general hospital in Korea, for the aged society in the near future. Average life expectancy of Koreans has been lengthened and the percentage of the aged populations is expected to be increased sharply. Therefore, the social problems for the aged occur in various levels, especially in healthcare facilities and medical system due to the weak health conditions of the aged. These problems will become more serious in the near future. However, the architectural planning of general hospital in Korea has not been prepared for the aged society yet. The results of this study were as follows the ward of general hospital should be divided into acute and geriatric wards because of the characteristics of geriatric diseases.

The aim of this study was to identify the influences of sleep quality, depression and fatigue on job stress of geriatric hospital workers. The subjects were 175 workers from 6 geriatric hospitals. Data were collected on March, 2015 using a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. The job stress was negatively correlated with sleep quality(r=-.364, p<.001), positively correlated with depression(r=.376, p<.001) and fatigue(r=.646, p<.001). The multiple regression analysis revealed that the most powerful predictor of job stress was fatigue(${\beta}=.581$, p<.001). These results indicate that fatigue affect job stress of the geriatric hospital workers. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare tailored fatigue management program and working conditions that can reduce job stress.

This study is descriptive research, attempts to determine the status of elderly inpatients of veterans hospital' of drug awareness information, drug use status and drug Misusage. The subjects were 220 patients of aged 65 and over only five metropolitan areas nationwide in drug use in the Veterans Hospital, national merit, the study is from May to June. SPSS Win 18.0 program was used as the data analysis and a statistical statement by mean, standard deviation, t-test and ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. As a results, there was showed a statistically significant level 'age', 'type of marriage', 'education', 'triage', 'health status' as the general characteristics of the subjects. It showed the 'age' of the variables that influence recognition in the area of drug awareness information, and drug Misusage and drug use status factors seemed to affect the 'health status'. Therefore, It need for a comparative study of elderly inpatients and inpatients of veterans hospital, the research should be qualitative research of veterans medical services to the on reasonable support measures in the Veterans Affairs health care system and national merit.
