북한(北韓)의 노동생산성(勞動生産性)과 적정임금(適正賃金): 북한노동력(北韓勞動力)의 질(質)에 관한 고찰(考察)

  • 일반적으로 북한(北韓)의 노동력(勞動力)은 "양질의 저렴한" 것으로 인식되고 있다. 이러한 인식을 근거로 북한의 노동력에 남한의 자본과 기술을 결합시키고자 하는 대북투자사업(對北投資事業)은 활발히 추진(推進)되어 왔으며, 북한의 핵문제가 해결되는 경우 급속히 실행(實行)에 옮겨지게 될 것으로 보인다. 그러나 북한의 노동력이 과연 "양질의 저렴한" 것인가의 여부에 관하여 체계적(體系的)인 검토(檢討)는 이루어진 바가 없다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서는 북한의 노동력이 일반적으로 인식되고 있는 바와 같이 "양질의 저렴한" 것인지의 여부, 특히 '양질' 여부에 관하여 그 타당성(妥當性)을 북한 노동력의 교육수준(敎育水準), 작업규율(作業規律), 노동생산성(勞動生産性)의 세가지 측면에서 검토하여 보았다. 그 결과 교육수준이나 작업규율에 근거하여 북한의 노동력이 '양질'이라고 생각하는 것은 무리한 평가라는 결론에 도달하였으며, 가장 설득력이 있다고 여겨지는 노동생산성에 근거한 예상도 실증분석의 결과 타당성이 작은 것으로 나타났다. 자료의 한계상 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서 대상으로 한 것은 북한(北韓)의 평균적(平均的)인 노동력(勞動力)의 질(質)로서 실제 우리 기업이 고용하게 될 노동력의 질과 차이가 있을 수 있다. 그러나 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서 분석한 바와 같이 북한의 노동력이 '저렴'하지도 '양질'도 아닐 수 있으므로 대북투자사업(對北投資事業)의 보다 신중(愼重)한 검토(檢討) 및 대북투자사업시(對北投資事業時) 보다 효율적(效率的) 북한 노동력의 활용방안(活用方案)이 모색(摸索)되어야 할 것이다.

A Study on the Mediating Effect of Positive Psychological Capital on the Effectiveness Relationship of Librarians' Emotional Labor and Professional Quality of Life (ProQOL): Including Widely Representative Library Librarians (사서들의 감정노동과 전문직 삶의 질(ProQOL)에 미치는 영향관계에서 긍정심리자본의 매개효과에 관한 연구 - 광역대표도서관 사서들을 대상으로 -)

  • This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of positive psychological capital in the relationship between emotional labor and Professional Quality of Life (ProQOL) of librarians belonging to the Widely Representative Library. From February 13, 2023 to February 24, 2023, 159 librarians working in 17 Widely Representative Libraries nationwide were surveyed for general characteristics, emotional labor, ProQOL, and positive psychological capital through questionnaires. For statistical analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and measurement model analysis were conducted using SPSS Statistics 24.0 and Amos 25.0. In addition, the mediating effect of positive psychological capital in the relationship between emotional labor and ProQOL of librarians in the Widely Representative Library was analyzed using a bootstrapping analysis method. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, it was found that there was a significant effect among librarians' emotional labor, ProQOL, and positive psychological capital in the Widely Representative Library. Second, the indirect effect of positive psychological capital in the relationship between Emotional Labor and ProQOL of Widely Representative Library librarians was found to be statistically significant. In other words, considering the direct effect of emotional labor on ProQOL, it can be inferred that there is a partial mediating effect. Therefore, it is suggested to develop a program that can improve the quality of professional life by reducing emotional labor and strengthening the positive psychological capital of librarians in further studies.

The Mediating Effects of Care Work Appraisals Held by Care Workers in Elderly Care Facilities on the Relationship between Job Environment and Service Quality (시설요양보호사의 근무환경과 서비스 질과의 관계에서 돌봄노동 평가의 매개효과)

  • This study aimed to investigate the positive and negative appraisals of care work held by care workers in elderly care facilities and to analyze the mediating effect of care worker's appraisals of care work on the relationship between job environment and service quality. For the purpose of the study, the data were collected from 298 care workers by using non-random and purpose sampling method. The results of the study showed job environment was a significant predictor in explaining in the variances of care work appraisal and service quality. In addition, care worker's positive and negative appraisals of care work were statistically significant mediators in the association of between job environment and service quality. Finding of the study indicated that service quality could be improved by not only improving job environment but also strengthening care worker's positive appraisal of care work. Finally, based on the findings of the study, implications and limitations of the study were discussed.

Impact of Emotional Labor on Quality of Service by Social Workers in Public Sector (사회복지전담공무원의 감정노동이 서비스 질에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently, social welfare officers are suffering from a lot of job stress due to increasing work and are carrying out emotional labor. This study assessed the effect of emotional labor on the quality of welfare service through a questionnaire survey on 937 civil servants in Sejong city and Chungcheongnam-do provinces. First, social welfare officers experienced more than average level of emotional labor, and they performed more internal behavior than surface behavior. Second, the services provided by the social welfare officers were higher than usual, followed by tangibility, assurance, reliability, empathy, and responsiveness. Third, deeping acting had a positive (+) influence on service quality among the sub-factors of emotional labor. In other words, the quality of service increases as the emotional state itself changes, On the other hand, deeping acting did not affect service quality. In the future, policy responses to excessive work burden of social welfare officers should be needed and a manual for responding to emotional labor should be provided.

A Study on the Mediating Effect of Emotional Labor and Filial Piety on the Relationship between the Working Environment and Service Quality of Elderly Care Workers (노인 돌봄 수행인력의 근무환경과 서비스 질 관계에서 감정노동과 효인식의 매개효과에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted with the purpose of verifying the effect of the working environment of elderly care workers on service quality and the mediating effect of emotional labor and recognition of filial piety. The subjects of the study were 460 elderly care workers. For the collected data, SPSS Process macro was used. As a result, First, it was found that all variables had a significant positive (+) relationship. Second, the parallel mediating effect of emotional labor and recognition of filial piety was confirmed. Third, the mediating effect of recognition of filial piety and the moderating effect of emotional labor were verified. Based on this study, it was found that filial piety awareness education and emotional labor management are necessary. A follow-up study with a more expanded concept should be conducted.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how paid work affects self-efficacy and interpersonal relationships among the poor elderly. In addition, this study analyzes to measure the psychological and social effectiveness that can be obtained through paid work in poor life. This survey was conducted for poor elderly people in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do on the assumption that the quality of paid work would positive affect the interpersonal relationships of the poor elderly, and that the self-efficiency would play a mediating role between the quality of paid work and their interpersonal relations. The final sample of 165 of them was selected and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the quality of paid work was analyzed to have a significant effect on the interpersonal relationship of the poor elderly, and the mediating effect of self-efficacy was also confirmed. Based on the results of these studies, the need for a policy to improve the quality of paid work for the elderly and practical measures to improve the self-efficacy of the elderly in the social welfare field were proposed.

High and Downwardly Rigid Reservation Wages are Responsible for the Youth Joblessness? (청년 고용 문제, 눈높이 때문인가?)

  • This paper criticizes the arguments for the high and rigid reservation wages as main cause of the youth joblessness. First, using longitudinal aspect of the Korea Labor and Income Panel Study, I found that there exists declining reservation wage for the young who make the transition from unemployed to employment. Second, the average duration of school-to-work transition in Korea is relatively low compared to that of other countries. Moreover the duration between leaving school and staring the first job has not significantly negative effect on adult labor market outcomes, but the quality of first job and unstable job experiences have serious negative effects on working career. These findings show that the high youth joblessness is due to both decent job deficit and labor market segmentation.

  • In this study, we analyze the relationships between long-term care workers' person-centeredness and job satisfaction, emotional labor, and service quality. Self-administered questionnaires were used to collect data from 460 long-term care workers in long-term care facilities. In the research model, person-centered care was verified using independent variables, with emotional labor (surface behavior, internal behavior) and job satisfaction applied as parameters, and service quality applied as a dependent variable. The results of this study are as follows. First, the fit of the model is good. Second, the implicit behavior of emotional labor is found to be an important factor affecting service quality. Also, emotional labor is an important mediator, improving the value of person-centered care and service quality. There is a positive correlation between internal behavior and service quality, and a negative correlation between surface behavior and service quality. Third, emotional labor (surface behavior, internal behavior) is the most influential variable in terms of service quality. The results of this study demonstrate the necessity to pay clinical and academic attention to person-centered care in terms of long-term care workers' emotional labor and service quality.

Quality of Life and Health Service Utilization of the Migrant Workers in Korea (이주노동자의 의료서비스 이용실태 및 삶의 질)

  • The aim of this study was to identify the utilization of health services and factors influencing the quality of life(QOL) of migrant workers. The participants were 135 migrant workers in Korea. Data was collected from September 10th 2012 to November 15th 2012. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheff' test, and hierarchical multiple regression. Immigrant workers experienced difficulty in using health services and had a $14.25{\pm}2.01$ QOL, which was relatively low. The factors influencing QOL were the length of stay in Korea, residence areas, and satisfaction with health services. Final regression model accounted for 16.7% of the variance in QOL. The satisfaction level with health services was the most influential factors in the level of the QOL. Therefore, diverse strategies should be developed to enhance the satisfaction with health services in Korea migrant workers.
