In this study, the fire resistance of high strength concrete with organic fibers and polymer powder (PW) was investigated. Two types of the specimens of ${\phi}100{\times}200mm$ and $300{\times}300{\times}600mm$ sizes were prepared. As a result of the test, it was found that the fiber-to-PW mixing ratio of 1:1 achieved the highest fluidity. Further, it was found that the mixing ratios of PP 0.05% + PW 0.05%, PNY 0.05% + PW 0.05% was sufficient to protect the high strength concrete from spalling. For the mock-up specimens of $300{\times}300{\times}600mm$ size, if the required amounts of fibers were added in the concrete. the concrete spalling was resisted. Likewise, in the case of the polymix (PM) together with PW, all the tested specimens were satisfactory for fire resistance performance.
On the result of load-bearing fire test to confirm the fire resistance of a composit beam, if the composit beam has lower fire resistance than required standard, it can be improved by section change. But if there are many types of section change, it takes much time and cost owing to conducting many tests. On this study, it was confirmed which part of the asymmetric H-section composit beam affected most on fire resistance by heat-transfer analysis. Then, we checked the tendency of improving fire resistance depend on section change by heat-transfer and non-linear structural analysis and suggested a changed section having 1-hour fire resistance.

Fire resistance properties and mechanical properties of high strength concrete mock-up column using organic fiber by KS F 2257 Methods of fire resistance test for elements of building construction and compression test was investigated for application of precast concrete column method of high rise building in this study. As a test result, it was appeared that ECC permanent form is available as fire resistance method of high strength concrete and new precast concrete construction method for facilitating construction of high rise building.
Concrete-filled square steel tube (CFT) columns have inherently high fire resistance and load-bearing capacity. Nevertheless, it is sometimes necessary to improve their fire resistance using external fire protection. This paper presents the experimental results of the temperature distribution of CFT columns with fire protection. A fire load test was carried out by exposing small-scale specimens to heat in an electric furnace that was especially built for testing loaded columns. The temperature distribution of CFT columns under constant axial loads was determined, as were its significant parameters, such as the types of fire protection and thickness, the thickness of the square CFT, and the fire duration times. The results of this study showed the temperature distribution of each specimen of the electric furnace and the temperature distribution properties of concrete and steel. In addition, the axial displacement and local buckling behavior of CFT columns based on temperature changes was observed.
This paper is an experimental study of the chemical resistance of mortar which contains silica sand particles. The possible use of silica sand particles in the future as an admixture for improving chemical resistance of mortar is examined in mortar model experiments. The possibility of using mortar model its prediction models for the chemical resistance of concrete is examined. The results obtained are as follows. Since the experimental results from the chemical resistance tests based on the kinds and the amount of replaced admixture are similar to those from the concrete. mortar model could be used as a prediction model of chemical resistance of concrete.
The domestic fire resistance performance test is conducted as a prescriptive design method such as quality test. In quality test there are 2 methods, unloaded fire resistance test and fire resistance test under load. In realistic, these tests, however, have problems with expense, time and diversity of structure. This study reviewed fire resistance performance of H-beam flexural member by thermal stress analysis using finite element ABAQUS program. This research is for the performance-based design reviewing applicability of domestic standard. As a result of this study, limit temperatures per each load ratio provied for proper performance of fire resistancy.
Fire resistance of new hybrid timber framed wall systems was evaluated in this study. These wall systems are composed of two major structural parts. One part is a heavy timber frame part designed to take charge of whole vertical load using heavy timber post and beam, and the other is an infill wall structure, designed to take charge of whole horizontal load and to provide an established level of fire resistance. A basic concept of this hybrid wall is adopted from a typical furniture structure with frame. A timber post and beam frame is constructed with Japanese Larch solid timber post(180mm by 180mm) and beam(180mm by 240mm). As infill wall systems, two types of walls are applied. One is a typical light timber framed wall with solid blocking and another is a structural insulated panel wall, in which polystyrene insulation is filled between two structural panels to make single structure. For all tested walls, two layers of 12.5mm thick type-X gypsum boards are used on fire exposed side. Prior to tests for hybrid walls, only infill walls are tested without heavy timber frame. All fire resistance tests are carried out in accordance with KS F 2257, and temperatures on several points within wall structure and unexposed wall surface are measured during fire tests. It is considered that the reinforcement of heavy timber frame is significantly efficient for improving the fire resistance of timber framed walls.
In recent construction research, the focus has primarily been on developing 3D printers and construction-specific materials. 3D printing technology in construction is growing rapidly due to its potential benefits. However, there's a notable lack of research on the fire performance of 3D Printed Concrete (3DPC) walls. This study addresses this gap by investigating how 3DPC walls respond to controlled heating conditions in a simplified test. The research aims to provide crucial insights into the behavior of 3D-printed mortar composite walls when exposed to fire. The findings have the potential to enhance safety and reliability in 3D printing technology within the construction industry. Furthermore, it could contribute to improving the fire safety standards of architectural structures and expand the use of 3D printing in future construction projects.

In this paper, the effect of change of sleeve type on fireproofing performance of through-penetration firestop system on metallic pipes was analyzed. As a result, if the material of the sleeve is high in thermal conductivity and thick, a large amount of heat is transferred to the top of the support structure.
As recent buildings are getting more high-rise and larger, steel structures, not a reinforced concrete structure, for columns and beams among the main structural members in a building are being widely used. Steels used for the main members of a building are constructed with a fire-resistive structure by applying them with fire-resistive coatings. The introduction of a simple test method that can verify the performance of fire-resistive material constructed on a site without conducting a fire-resistant test(real scale fire test) is needed and this study derived a site analysis method possible to make a rapid and scientific analysis through the analysis of components (instrumental analysis) concerning tire-resistive materials. the possibility of application of it in analyzing congruence over site construction materials by recognizing it as a standard material after securing an inherent fingerprint area of tire-resistive materials of which performance was verified in the concrete through thermal analysis was proved through experiments. This research result can be minimize of casualties, who is harmed to building collapse according to structures fire.
