Walking in the City and the Museumification of Urban Space: Daegu's Modern Street Tour as a Performative Space (도시 속 걷기와 도시 공간의 박물관화: 수행적 공간으로서 대구 근대골목투어)

  • When it comes to museumification, it has often been approached in terms of false history, placelessness or simulacra. However, this research aims at exploring the relation between the bodily-spatial performance of walking in the city and the museumification of urban space. For this, first it reviews theoretical discussions of walking as a bodily-spatial performance. Then, in the case of Daegu's Modern Street Tour and particularly focusing on the tour map, it looks at how the bodily performance of walking constructs the urban space of the tour as a museumified space. Finally, seeing the participants' blogs and other websites as another performative space, it examines how the bodily performance of walking reproduces the discourse and space of the tour in virtual space as well as in actual space. The study suggests the elusive assemblage of heterogeneous and multiple time-spaces immanent in urban space, which is different from the absolute and linear order of time-space in museum space.

Calibration Method of Channels' Initial Phase Shift in Active Phased Array Antenna (능동 위상배열 안테나 채널의 초기위상 천이 보정 방법)

  • An active phased away antenna consists of many channels including radiator and active circuitary that contains low noise amplifiers and phase shifters. Each channel has different initial phase shift and gain because of inequality in active circuitary itself, interface between radiator and active circuitary, beam forming network and other antenna configurations. This is an inherent problem in active phased away antenna, therefore each channels' initial phase shifts and gains should be calibrated for obtaining the designed radiation pattern and antenna gain. In this paper, an efficient calibration method for the active phased array antenna is presented. By performing the above method, thhe antenna gain is increased more than 2.0 dB after calibrating considerably unequal 12 channels' initial phase shifts and gains.

  • Interior design is depend on combination way of between invisible meaning and visible form, then it has a several meaning by that. The meaning of interior space is a invisible concept which is shown by a form and it is mainly recognized by a image. The purpose of this study is to explore that characters of image in communication process, typical aspect and structural aspect have been shown in interior design. On this study, I try to study space analysis about commercial space to explore character of spatial image through theoretical approach. In a result, the image of interior space is made by deep representation as a designer's basic concept and is delivered by conversion of various codes. Therefore, the image of interior space is not a additional concept which is made by natural factor of space, it is a design concept which must be dealt with space planning.

  • A arrival of u-teaming paradigm requires many u-teaming system and model that is varied and support to distance education, Accordingly, the distance education system in u-learning environment has attracted a fair amount of critical attention. However there remain many questions, as yet unresolved, such as it is difficult to maintain interaction between tutor and learner, the construction of system is a great expense to them, a tutor, who manages the system, lacks technologic background, in most current distance education system. To solve these problem, some preliminary observations have to be made first: to keep teaming process in situation that it is unconnected with tutor, to construct the system economically, and to make to be easy-to-use. Therefore, in this paper, we develop the 'Intelligent U-Learning System using Cyber Tutor', which includes the conception of u-learning such as mobility, immanency, supports to keep learning without real tutor by cyber tutor, and removes technological and economical costs, verify the validity.

Short-Term Water Demand Forecasting Algorithm Using AR Model and MLP (AR모델과 MLP를 이용한 단기 물 수요 예측 알고리즘 개발)

  • In this paper, we develope a water demand forecasting algorithm using AR(Auto-regressive) and MLP(Multi-layer perceptron). To show effectiveness of the proposed method, we analyzed characteristics of time-series data collected in "A" purification plant at Jeon-Buk province during 2007-2008, and then performed the proposed method with various input factors selected through various analyses. As noted in experimental results, the performance of three types model such as multi-regressive, AR(Auto-regressive), and AR+MLP(Auto-regressive + Multi-layer perceptron) show 5.1%, 3.8%, and 3.6% with respect to MAPE(Mean Absolute Percentage Error), respectively. Thus, it is noted that the proposed method can be used to predict short-term water demand for the efficient operation of a water purification plant.

  • Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) draw attention as promising materials due to their excellent electrical and mechanical properties. However, the intrinsic strong interaction between CNTs presents a challenge to their use in various applications. Here, we present a facile method to disperse single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) in a polar solution using a graft copolymer, poly(vinyl chloride)-graft-poly(oxyethylene methacrylate), PVC-g-POEM. The graft copolymer was synthesized via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), as confirmed by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and $^1H$ NMR spectroscopy. The SWCNTs were uniformly dispersed in a polar solvent such as dimethylsiloxane (DMSO) using PVC-g-POEM as a dispersant, due to interaction between CNT and the graft copolymer, as revealed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis. Upon removal of the solvent, free standing nanocomposite films with good homogeneity were obtained.

  • In this thesis, I consider the definition and category Huang-Lao philosophy that doesn't argue to the present in the academic world. I consider the origin and formation of Huang-Lao philosophy, in the view of combining the history of a nature and a human. I consider the origin of Huang-Lao philosophy in the Guoyu and Zuozhuan, Huang-Lao philosophy accepts open academic tradition of Jixia philosophy that has an ideological acception freely, and I consider the process of an advance and systematic theory of Huang-Lao philosophy on the basis of the four treatises of Guanzi and Hanfeizi. Also, in this thesis, I focus on the current of Huang-Lao philosophy, on the both sides. One is acception of Zhujia of Daojia the other is acception of Daojia of Zhujia(Fajia). and I analysis the various contents and forms between a peculiar world view and a political methodology of Wubuwei(無不爲) in Huang-Lao philosophy.

  • Recently, public certificates issued by nationally-recognized certification bodies have been abolished, and internet companies have issued their own common certificates as certification authority. The Electronic Signature Act was amended in a way to assign responsibility to Internet companies. As the use of a joint certificate issued by Internet companies as a certification authority is allowed, it is expected that the fraud damage caused by the theft of public key certificates will increase. We propose an authentication model that can be used in a security gateway that combines PKI with a blockchain with integrity and security. and to evaluate its practicality, we evaluated the security of the authentication model using Sugeno's hierarchical fuzzy integral, an evaluation method that excludes human subjectivity and importance degree using Delphi method by expert group. The blockchain-based joint certificate is expected to be used as a base technology for services that prevent reckless issuance and misuse of public certificates, and secure security and convenience.

  • In various cultures and civilizations, artists are trying new ideas of reinterpreting the beauty of classic and redefining it in the ways of modern times rather than creating something new. In other words, modern cultural trend is creating a new culture by combining sensibilities of classic amid the flood of information with modern senses of artists. This study tries to combine various cultures an designs in accordance with this cultural change. Based on the features of expressing emotions of individuals and the world of impossible experiences from the short story 'When Buckwheat Flowers Bloom' of Lee Hyoseok, an incomplete area of consciousness which is at the border line of the polarized world divided by existence and absence is the area which creates a new culture by arousing readers' imagination as a potential world of thought. In addition, based on language from the short story, a researcher tries to utilize symbolic and imaginal beauties inside of that language as a material of design, and formative analysis them with the composition of proper words for visualization.

  • 도시 유역의 강우-유출 모의에는 지표 투수율 및 하수관거 영향 등 인위적 배수계통의 영향을 고려할 수 있는 도시유출모형이 널리 이용되고 있으며, 모형 검증을 통해 모의 성능을 평가한다. 도시유출모형의 검증은 일반적인 강우-유출 모형과 같이 강우사상별 유량의 관측시계열과 모의시계열의 목적함수가 최소가 되는 최적 매개변수를 탐색하는 과정이다. 도시유출모형의 검증에서 발생하는 문제점은 크게 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대규모 도시 유역의 복잡하고 다양한 하수관거에 대한 최적매개변수를 관거별로 구하는 것은 물리적으로 불가능하다. 따라서 동일 배수분구내 하수관거의 매개변수 값은 동일하다고 가정하거나, 모형 단순화 과정을 통해 매개변수의 물리적 범위 내에서 최적해를 탐색해야 하는 단순화에서 기인한 불확실성이 있다. 둘째, 다양한 매개변수들의 물리적 범위를 고려하기 위해서는 전역최적화기법이 유효하다. 그러나 전역최적화 종류, 목적함수, 모의횟수, 목표성능별 최적 매개변수 결과가 각각 다르므로 추정된 최적 매개변수의 범위에 대한 불확실성이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 Bayesian 모형과 EPA SWMM(Storm Water Management Model)을 연계하여 도시유출모형의 매개변수 불확실성을 정량적으로 분석할 수 있는 모형을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 서울 우이천 유역을 대상으로 SWMM 모형을 구축하고, 절단 정규분포(truncated Gaussian distribution)를 사전분포(prior)로 가정하여 매개변수의 물리적 범위를 고려하였다. 최종적으로 결합확률분포로 계산된 각 매개변수간 사후분포를 통해 모의된 유출량의 불확실성을 정량적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 모형은 대규모 도시 유역의 도시유출모형 구축 시 다양한 매개변수의 물리적 범위를 고려한 최적화와 동시에 내재된 불확실성을 정량적으로 분석할 수 있으므로, 침수예측 및 홍수예경보 등의 문제에서 상당한 신뢰성을 확보할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
