모양정보는 사람이 물체를 구분하는 특징 중 하나이며 Zernike moments등의 방법으로 그 특징을 표현한다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 Zernike moment 방법을 수정하여 입력 모양정보를 내부 모양정보와 외부 모양정보로 분리하여 각각의 영역에 대해서 특징을 추출한다. 그리고 두 모양정보의 유사도를 계산하는 과정에서 내부 모양정보와 외부 모양정보의 특징에 각각 다른 가중치를 적용함으로써 사용자의 의도에 가장 적합한 질의 결과를 얻을 수 있는 새로운 기능성을 부여하여 검색의 효율성을 높였다. 실험 결과 기존의 Zernike moments 방법에 비해서 최대 12 %의 성능 향상이 있음을 보였다.

본 연구는 우리나라 물류기업의 경영 효율성 비교 분석을 통해 물류기업의 특성별 차이가 있는지 파악하였다. 분석방법은 효율성을 측정하는데 유용한 자료포락분석(DEA)의 CCR 및 BCC 모형을 이용했다. 투입변수는 종업원 수와 매출원가를 사용하였고, 산출변수는 매출, 영업이익과 당기순이익을 사용하였다. 분석자료는 2016년도 공시된 금융감독원 전자공시시스템의 자료를 활용했다. 분석결과 고효율성으로 나타난 물류기업의 수는 3자 물류기업이 많았으며, 효율성이 높은 2자 물류기업들은 우리나라 대기업의 물류 자회사로서 모기업 및 계열사들의 물량을 바탕으로 내부거래 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

This paper examines the pecuniary effects stemming from insider trading in the equities of firms targeted for acquisition. Illegal exchanges by those having advantageous information are found to result in excessive returns to stockholders of the sought firms. However, unusual market activities are not typical immediately subsequent to the illegal trading date, suggesting that nonpublic information is synthesized by market mechanisms with sufficient speed so that others cannot profit by imitating the better informed traders. The obtained evidence does not support the contention that insider trading on nonpublic information harms the outsider stockholders of involved firms.

The aim of this study was to analyze the productivity changes in government-funded research institutes for Economics & Humanities and Social Sciences. From Malmquist total factor productivity index analysis, the average productivity decreased 6.5% between 2006 and 2010. Further analysis showed that technical efficiency increased 4.7% annually while the technology change rate decreased 10.8% on average. Under pressure for innovation from the outside, research institutes responded to managerial efficiency improvement, which lead to increases in technical efficiency. On the other hand, for productivity improvement of government funded research institutes, they must pursue technological advances by securing an outstanding research workforce, expanding the R&D budget, and changing the R&D method. Each institute must perceive the cause of an individual institute's productivity change, and establish strategies for increasing productivity.

본 논문에서는 워크플로우 시스템의 엔진 컴포넌트들 간에 이루어지는 내부 통신 메커니즘에 대해 기술한다. 워크플로우 엔진의 내부 통신 메커니즘을 구현하는 방법은 동기적 매커니즘과 비동기적 메커니즘으로 나뉘어진다. 본 논문에서 제안하고 있는 e-Chautauqua 워크플로우 관리 시스템에서는 비동기적 메커니즘을 토대로 하여 엔진 컴포넌트들의 내부 통신 처리를 구현한다. 이러한 엔진 내부 통신의 성능 향상을 위해 비동기 메시징 방식을 기반으로 하는 EJB 메시지 빈(Message-Driven Bean)을 사용하여 설계한다. 또한 엔진 컴포넌트들 간의 내부 통신시에 사용되는 송수신 메시지를 구조적인 유연성과 확장성을 지닌 XML로 설계함으로서 엔진 컴포넌트들간의 내부 통신을 보다 효율적으로 이루어지도록 설계한다.

Softwares which have many functions to satisfy user's requirements is developing. But generally, users use partial functions of software. If we could construct software which leave useful functions and remove unuseful functions in software with many functions, we could enhance execution efficiency by reduction of program size and quality of software. There are 6 items in international standard ISO/IEC 9126 about quality of software. These are functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintenance and portability. In this study, we proposed metrics for measurement of efficiency and simplification method for source code. And we described products evaluation result and indicated problem and progress method for practical development project about proposed efficiency metrics.

The battery pack which is a main component of E-scooter needs the cooling system because it is the matter of battery safety in spite of the incresing of charge efficiency due to decress the internal resistence in the condition of high temperature. The purpose of this study is to analyse the effects of cooling methods which is the control of air's inlet and outlet operating timing. When each battery had large temperature deviation in the battery pack, the difference of battery's performance and efficiency were appeared. In this study, the cooling performance of battery pack has been improved by changing the operation timing of inlet and outlet fan, it improved the performance and efficiency of battery. The numerical analysis using a commercial code ANSYS CFX version 17.0 were used for the study.

Ambulances are an important element of pre-hospital emergency medical services, and also an important space for improving the work efficiency of paramedics. Paramedics use the interior environment to maximize the capabilities of the space, but ambulances need to be improved to help with the responsibilities of paramedics. A Seamless space was constructed in accordance with the placement of first-aid emergency medical equipment and drugs, and a patient room was loaded in the interior space of an ambulance. This study was to improve the treatment space of an ambulance to improve the efficiency of work by paramedics The new design provides safety and efficiency for emergency medical services through planning of interior storage suitable for the duties of paramedics and through identification and analysis of the problems in the environment.

This study investigated the determinants of debt ratio in public institutions. For this purpose, we analyzed the impact of external and internal factors on debt ratio. In this paper, external factors included government grants and deficits compensation, and internal factors included inefficient management. The results of this study are as follows. First, we find that there is a significant positive relation between government grants and debt ratio. This result means that the higher government grants, the higher debt ratio. Second, we also find that there is a significant positive relation between deficits compensation and debt ratio. This implies that the institutions subject to deficits compensation have higher debt ratio. Third, we can not find a significant relation between welfare benefit and debt ratio. This finding implies that inefficient management is not a factor on debt ratio of public institutions. The results documented in this paper provide important policy implications for investigating the determinants of debt ration in public institutions.

Single-machine-based 그래프 엔진의 state-of-the-art 모델인 RealGraph 는 쓰레드를 이용한 병렬화로 성능을 향상하였으나 쓰레드 내부에서의 병렬성은 고려되지 않았다. 본 논문은 SIMD 명령어를 이용해 RealGraph 의 병렬성을 향상시켰다. 쓰레드 내부의 효율성을 높이기 위해 RealGraph 의 구조와 그래프 알고리즘의 분석을 통한 SIMD 명령어의 적용 가능한 영역을 탐색하였다. 실험으로 SIMD 명령어의 적용을 통해 쓰레드 내부에서 벡터 연산을 수행하여 평균 7.6%, 11.7%, 9.2%의 수행 시간 단축을 이끌어냈으며 SIMD 명령어의 적용이 그래프 엔진의 분석 성능에 얼마나 도움이 될 수 있는지 확인하였다.
