  • Wetlands are a transitional zone between aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, and a habit for the various biospheres. The main purpose of this study is to suggest a new technique that establishes the management districts of inland wetlands. To establish management districts of sub-watershed units, this study used the BurnDEM techniques. The management district resulted form this study are assessed its effectivity using an overlap of inland wetland map and sub-watershed maps classified by 18 sub-watershed. The result of this study could be applied to build a national inland wetland database.

  • 우리나라 인천항의 적체현상은 그 한계를 초과한 상태여서 체선율이 약 40%에 이르고 있다. 아울러, 수도권 대량화물의 대부분이 인천항을 경유하여 내륙수송방법을 통해 운송되므로 수도권의 심각한 교통체증을 가중시키며, 물류가격경쟁력의 저하현상을 초래하고 있다. 따라서, 운하를 건설하여 연안해송, 내륙수운 등의 수송수단을 통해 대량화물 운송을 원활히 하여 내륙교통량을 완화시키고 수송비를 절감시키는 방법도 이상과 같은 문제점해결의 대안이 될 수 있을 것이다. (중략)

  • In order to identify the factor and effect of shippers' inland transportation decision in North China and the Republic of Korea, the determinants of shipping liners, shippers and forwarders when selecting ports were extracted through previous studies and then analyzed using factor analysis and Fuzzy-AHP. As a result of analyzing the importance between groups, it can be found that while logistics costs at port and accessibility to hinterland are the most important factors for shipping liners, shippers and forwarders. Transportation cost by feeder is the most important sub factors for shipping liners. Inland transportation cost is the most important sub factors for shippers and forwarders. Through this study, it was recognized that one of the biggest concerns of shippers was reduction of inland transportation cost In addition, it was confirmed that the main factor of shifting the decision of the port selection from the shipping liners to the shipper is the reduction of inland transportation cost.

A Study of Appropriate Amounts and Applicable Ranges of the Travel Time Values of Goods in Korea (우리나라 화물 시간가치의 적정 크기와 적용 가능 범위 연구)

  • This study assesses the appropriate amounts and applicable ranges of travel time values for freight transport modes in Korea. The findings suggest that it is possible to determine appropriate sizes and applicable ranges of travel time values of goods set for road transport mode (i.e. truck), whereas those for railway, inland waterway, marine, and air transport modes are not as easily estimated. The adequate travel time value for trucks is 20,000won/vehicle hour, and the application range of travel time value of trucks is 17,000~23,000won/vehicle hour considering other variables. The most adequate estimation method of determining the travel time value for road transport is the wage rate method, whereas the marginal rate of substitution method is more rational for railway, inland waterway, marine, and air transport modes considering the application purpose and characteristics of the goods transported.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze factors that have significant influence on decision making of inland transportation of shippers. The study was conducted in Republic of Korea and Northern areas of China where marine feeder lines are operated, and logistic regression analysis was used as a research method. More than 67% of the domestic shippers who received the questionnaire were found to make inland transportation decisions. As a result, the inland freight and unloading costs had a significant influence on the inland transportation decision of the shippers. On the other hand, in order to attract domestic and overseas shippers to generate profits, it is necessary to establish various infrastructures and incentives for government support to reduce inland transportation costs and freight charges by identifying needs of shippers. In addition, it is necessary to review the factors influencing decision making of inland freight in shippers and port facilities, and ways to create freight should be sought through continuous improvement efforts in these areas. An analysis using various factors which can influence inland transport is needed as a future study.

  • 이 단지는 대체로 세가지의 입지배경을 지니고있다고 보겠다. 즉 첫째는 강원도 등뼈 산지의 내부산간 오지에 입지하고 있어서 이른바 자연의 신비를 그대로 지니고 있는 내륙 유경지역에 입지하고 있다고 본다. 따라서 속세를 떠난 대자연의 품속이라고 할 수 있는 오지에 입지하고 있어서 심산유경의 계곡을 찾는 기분을 느끼게 할 수 있는 지리적인 입지를 지니고 있다고 본다. 둘째, 동해안인 관동지방, 바닷가와 그리고 내륙오지에 해당하는 영서지방을 연결시켜주는 중간의 징검다리의 거점이 될 수 있는 위치를 차지하고 있다본다. 즉 동해안 삼척 동해시 나아가서는 관동연안해안지대에서 태백산 넘어 서쪽 정선땅 특히 최근에 국민관광지로 개발되고 있는 정선의 화암약수터와 화암동굴지대를 묶고 있는 국민관광 지역으로 넘어가는 바른 중간지점에 자리잡고 있는 것이다. 셋째로, 우리나라에서도 가장 내륙오지의 광산지역인 태백시지역 그리고 정선의 사북 고한읍 등의 광산지역에서 가장 가까운 지리적 위치를 지니고 있다고 본다.(중략)

  • 우리나라 해역에서 선박의 대형화, 고속화와 선박교통량의 증가 및 항만과 해양개발 등으로 해상교통 환경은 급속하게 변화하고 있으며, 항로의 좌 우 측방 한계 표시, 항행위해요소의 표시 등의 용도로 사용되는 부표류는 항만, 연안해역 및 내륙수로에서 통항 선박의 안전을 위하여 그 수요가 점진적으로 늘어나고 있다. 변화하는 해양교통 환경에 능동적으로 대처하고 부표관리 업무의 효율성을 증대하기 위하여 경량화, 내부식성, 저비용 등 장점으로 정온도가 유지되는 항내나 내륙수로 등에서 국제적으로 항로표지용 부표로 이용되고 있는 플라스틱 부표의 국외 개발 동향, 제조 방법 및 시제품의 특성 평가를 통한 기술 향상 방안에 대하여 기술하였다.

Inland regional drought study using SPI (SPI를 이용한 내륙지방 가뭄 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 SPI지수를 이용하여 내륙지방의 가뭄을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 적용된 SPI가뭄 지수는 국내에서 발생하였던 과거의 가뭄사상 특성을 분석하기 위하여 SPI(Standardized Precipitation Index)지수를 선정하여 안동관측소의 1983년~2016년까지의 월평균 강우자료를 취합하여 가뭄지수를 산정하였다. 또한 이를 이용하여 가뭄발생을 3개월, 6개월, 9개월, 12개월로 나누어 가뭄기간 조사를 통하여 내륙지방의 대표적인 도시인 안동지방의 가뭄특성 및 주기를 분석하였다. 그 결과, SPI-3은 겨울과 이듬해인 봄까지는 가뭄현상이 심화되며, 여름철에는 장마로 인해 가뭄이 완화되는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 가뭄의 주기성을 분석한 결과 5년 내외 주기가 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, SPI-3의 분석결과 1년에서 2년의 주기성을 보였다. 따라서 SPI가뭄지수를 이용하여 안동지역의 가뭄을 분석한 결과 2000년 이후 길게는 6년을 주기로 가뭄지수가 나타났으며, 관측된 강우자료를 이용하여 가뭄을 산정하데 있어서 효과적인 분석에 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • From the day of luxurious inland river cruise ship started in Chongqing, China, the controversy is continuous; some people think those luxurious cruise ships on inland river might reduce the experience to enjoy the scenery of the Three Gorges, while some people think, which could improve the experience. In the study, the service facilities provided by luxurious inland river cruise ship will be evaluated by Pre-Post comparison based on IPA methods. After a review of the service facilities provided by luxurious inland river cruise ship running on Three Gorges areas. The tourists who would take the trip were asked to fill an questionnaire to examine the desired service facilities performance, which represents the highest level of the service facilities of the cruise ship that is expected by customers. After the trip, they were asked again to fill another questionnaire to examine the importance of service facilities and the performance of service. Pre-Post comparison would be examined to tell whether there is any change between pre and post experience. IPA would be used to evaluate the service facilities provided by inland river cruise ship. At last, some strategic suggestions to the development of inland river cruise ship are made.

Using the Gyeong-in Ara Waterway to Revitalize Coastal Shipping (연안해운 활성화 측면에서의 경인아라뱃길 활용 방안)

  • Many countries are developing transportation technologies aimed at reducing environmental pollution and the environmental burden. For example, environmentally friendly transportation routes and methods are being used to improve inland waterways in Europe. Against this backdrop, a case study was conducted on special cargo (weight cargo, earth and sand, etc.) on Korea's Gyeong-In Ara Waterway, an inland waterway connecting the Han River and the West Sea, serving a distribution function. The results of the analysis showed that coastal shipping could be promoted using the waterway, including a positive synergy among environmental, economic, and social aspects. That is, by shifting from overland transportation to marine transportation, it is possible to reduce environmental pollution, ease traffic congestion, decrease traffic accidents, and shorten the licensing period for the weight cargo demand of the northern area of the Han River. In this respect, the Gyeong-in Ara Waterway could become an environmentally friendly transportation route, promoting coastal shipping in Korea. However, for this to occur, support systems such as subsidies for marine transportation and using the inland waterway are required, as happens in the EU. Furthermore, existing policies to promote coastal shipping should be improved and applied more broadly.
