대학생의 자기결정성, 우울, 자아존중감, 충동성이 스마트폰 과의존에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-determination, Depression, Self-esteem, and Impulsivity on Smartphone Overdependence of College Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 남녀 대학생의 자기결정성, 우울, 자아존중감, 충동성, 스마트폰 과의존간의 관계를 탐색함으로써 이들 요인이 대학생의 스마트폰 과의존에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위함이다. 2개 대학교에 재학중인 남녀 대학생 263명을 대상으로 자가보고형 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 남학생의 스마트폰 과의존에 영향을 미치는 요인은 스마트폰의 중요성에 대한 인식(${\beta}=.411$, p<.001), 충동성(${\beta}=.204$, p=.007)과 우울(${\beta}=.200$, p=.040)인 것으로 나타났다. 여학생의 스마트폰과의존에 영향을 미치는 요인은 스마트폰의 중요성에 대한 인식(${\beta}=.630$, p<.001)과 충동성(${\beta}=.185$, p=.010) 이었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 남녀 대학생의 충동성 조절 및 스마트폰에 대한 왜곡된 인식 변화를 통해서 남녀 대학생의 스마트폰 과의존을 예방하기 위한 맞춤형 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

대학생의 양성평등의식이 결혼관 및 자녀관에 미치는 영향 (The impact of gender equality consciousness on view of marriage and children in university students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 양성평등의식이 결혼관과 자녀관에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 설문지를 이용하여 남녀평등의식, 결혼관, 자녀관에 대한 인식 수준을 파악하였다. 연구를 위한 조사는 S시의 대학생 205명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 28.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, one-way ANOVA, 피어슨 상관계수, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 대학생의 양성평등의식 수준은 평균 4.23점으로 나타났으며 여학생이 남학생보다 높게 나타났다. 대학생의 양성평등의식은 결혼관, 자녀관과 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 양성평등의식의 하위영역 중 가정생활 영역에서 결혼관과 자녀관에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 가정생활 영역의 양성평등의식이 높을수록 결혼관에 대하여 개방적이었으며 자녀가 필요하다는 인식은 낮은 것으로 확인되었다. 대학생의 긍정적인 결혼관 및 자녀관을 형성시키기 위하여, 남녀간의 균형잡힌 양성평등의식을 향상시키기 위한 교육프로그램이 개발되어야 할 것이다.

남녀 간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스, 대처방식 및 임상수행능력 비교 (Comparison of Stress Levels Arising in Clinical Settings, Stress Coping Mechanisms and Clinical Competency between Male and Female Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study compares differences between male and female nursing students in terms of the level of stress experienced during clinical practice settings, stress coping mechanisms and clinical competency. Method: The study population was nursing students who had taken a clinical practice course at one of five general hospitals in city D. Data were collected from September 15 to October 15, 2013 through a structured self-administered questionnaire survey given to 319 subjects (156 male students, 163 female students) enrolled in a statistical analysis course. Results: Male nursing students experienced lower stress levels during clinical practice and higher clinical competency than female students. In terms of stress coping mechanisms, male students were significantly more active than female students in deploying coping strategies. Among all students, students with higher clinical practice stress and concomitant stress coping scores exhibited higher clinical competency. Conclusion: Noticeable differences between male and female nursing students in terms of stress levels arising in the course of clinical practice, stress coping strategies, and clinical competency were revealed. However, further identification of specific stressful situations for male and female nursing students and subsequent management of clinical training circumstances are required.

남녀 대학생의 부모-자녀 간 의사소통 및 자아존중감과 성적 자기주장과의 관계: 성별의 차이 (Relationships among Parent-child Communication, Self-esteem and Sexual Assertiveness for Male and Female University Students: Gender Difference)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the relationships among parent-child communication, self-esteem and sexual assertiveness for male and female university students. Methods: This descriptive study used a comparative survey design that utilized self-report questionnaires. A total of 470 participants were male and female university students in B metropolitan city. Results: The degree of open communication use was higher for female students in comparison to male students, There were no differences in dysfunctional communication for both the father-child communication. There were no differences between males and females for the mother-child communication either. The degree of self-esteem was higher for male students in comparison to the female students. The degree of sexual assertiveness was higher for female students in comparison to the male students. The grade, religion, major, allowance source, marital status of parents, and relationship experience with opposite sex were influencing factors for the male students' sexual assertiveness whereas the individual's major and physical contact were influencing factors for the female students. Conclusion: Self-esteem and mother-child open communication were influencing factors of sexual assertiveness. Thus, the nursing intervention based on the influencing factors is needed in order for male and female students to express sexual assertiveness.

연극학적 상호작용 모델에 근거한 성교육이 남녀 대학생의 콘돔에 대한 태도와 콘돔사용의향에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Sex Education on Condom Attitudes and Condom Use Intention among Undergraduate Students - Dramaturgical interaction approach -)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the effects of sexual health education guided by dramaturgical interaction on condom attitudes and intention to use a condom among undergraduate students. Method: Seventy-one female and 23 male volunteers at a university in D metropolitan city participated in the study with an one group pretest-posttest design. The intervention was implemented for five weeks in October 2003 with a short course including group works to encourage university students' social skills In condom use negotiations and condom purchase by using a dramaturgical interaction model. A confidential questionnaire was administered at baseline and post-intervention, and changes in condom attitudes and intention to use a condom were measured. Result: The self-report of female subjects showed significant positive changes in two out of the five condom attitudes domains, such assailability and effectiveness(p<.001) embarrassment about negotiation and use(p<.05), while male subjects showed no change in each of the condom attitudes domains. No significant difference was found in intention to use a condom after the intervention. Conclusion: Sexual health education planned to encourage social skills in condom use by using the dramaturgical interaction model was found to have positive effects on female university students' condom attitudes. A more rigorously designed trial is needed to develop a comprehensive sexual health promotion programme that targets both cognitive and behavioral changes among sexually active Young adults within community.

남녀 대학생의 성희롱 피해, 가해 경험과 영향요인 분석 (A study on the Sexual Harassment among University Students)

  • Purpose: To investigate factors influencing sexual harassment and the frequency of incidents among university students. Method: During 1-20 July 2004, 339 students from five universities in Busan, Korea, responded to a written questionnaire. The SPSS Program calculated descriptive statistics, chi square test, and logistic regression analysis of the data. Result: Of the total respondents, 69.3% (62.6% of the males and 77.2% of the females), reported that they were victims of sexual harassment. Conversely, 72.5% (males 84.3%; females 58.4%), indicated that they were sexual harassment offenders. Characteristics of the reported victims were significantly different in terms of class year, proportion of males to females in their academic department, and group norms regarding sexually harassing behavior. Characteristics of the admitted offenders were significantly different in term of proportion of males to females within their academic department, group norms, and awareness of sexual harassment. Factors predicting sexual harassment included gender, proportion of males to females in an academic department, the group norms regarding sexually harassing behavior, and the offenders experiences. Conclusion: This study suggested that occurrence of sexual harassment among university students were related to various factors. Prevention programs should be developed that focus on these factors.

성 경험이 없는 대학생의 태도, 주관적 규범, 지각된 행위통제와 안전한 성행위 의도간의 관계 (The Relationship between Attitude, Subjective Norms, Perceived Behavioral Control and Intention of Safer Sexual Behavior in the Non-Experienced University Students of Sexual Intercourse)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학생들의 태도, 주관적 규범, 지각된 행위통제와 안전한 성행위 의도간의 관계를 확인하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구는 서울시 소재 일개 종합대학교에 재학 중인 남녀 학생 중 성 경험이 없는 604명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구는 주제가 매우 사적이고 민감하므로 자료수집은 온라인과 모바일을 통해서 2013년 4월 1일부터 4월 14일까지 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 따르면 안전한 성행위 의도는 태도(r=.312, p<.001), 주관적 규범(r=.320, p<.001), 지각된 행위통제(r=.412, p<.001)와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 본 연구 결과를 대학생들을 대상으로 한 성교육 프로그램이나 성 상담 프로그램 등의 성건강 증진을 위한 간호중재 전략의 개발에 이용할 것을 제언한다.

남녀 대학생의 성지식, 성태도 및 생식건강증진행위에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sexual Knowledge, Sexual Attitudes, and Reproductive Health Promoting Behaviors in Male and Female College Students)

  • Purpose: Due to today's sexual openness, college students may be exposed to frequent sexual relations, which can affect their adulthood reproductive health, pregnancy, and delivery. The purposes of this study were to explore the degrees of sexual knowledge, sexual attitudes, and reproductive health promoting behaviors in male and female college students and to identify their gender differences. Methods: A descriptive comparative design was used. A total of 181 college students(92 male and 89 female) were recruited. Data were collected between March 17 and April 8, 2016 using a convenience sample in a university located in Y city. Results: For male students, there was no correlation between two variables. For female students, reproductive health promoting behaviors had a significant relationship with sexual attitudes. Conclusion: These findings provide essential information that health care providers can use to increase their awareness of the importance of gender specific treatments when caring individuals.

남녀 대학생의 인유두종 바이러스 백신접종의도 영향요인 비교 (Comparison of Factors Associated with Intention to Receive Human Papillomavirus Vaccine Between Male and Female Undergraduate Students)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify and compare factors associated with intention to receive Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine between male and female undergraduate students. Methods: In the fall of 2010, 479 students responded to self-administered questionnaires about their intention to receive HPV vaccine, HPV knowledges, HPV related involvements and optimistic bias, subject's characteristics including opinion about HPV vaccine. Mann-Whitney U test, uni-variate and multi-variate logistic regression were used for data analysis with SPSS/WIN. Results: Intention to receive vaccine were 22.0% of men and 25.0% of women. There were significantly different in HPV knowledge (Z=-2.74, p=.006), optimistic bias (Z=-4.60, p<.001), vaccine is necessary for women (Z=-4,30, p<.001), vaccine is necessary for men (Z=-4.37, p<.001), vaccine is necessary if only symptom exist (Z=-4.52, p<.001), but there were not different in intention to receive vaccine, involvement between men and women. Concern about vaccine safety (OR=3.19, 95% CI 1.63~6.23) was determinant of intention to receive HPV vaccine for men. Conclusion: This study showed gender differences in HPV knowledge, HPV related optimistic bias and opinion about HPV vaccine, which would be assessed and well managed in tailored HPV education for enhancing HPV vaccine acceptance.
