닭 수정란을 이용한 생명공학 기술은 일반적인 포유류 가축의 수정란에 적용되고 있는 기술과 비교 해 볼 때, 기본적인 배 발생 단계에서부터 개체 탄생에 이르기까지 상당 부분에 걸쳐 상이한 점이 많다. 왜냐하면, 조류는 발생학적 특성상 수정과 초기 배 발생을 제외한 거의 대부분의 개체 발생 과정이 난각 속에서 진행되기 때문이다. 또한, 포유류는 새끼를 낳는 반면, 조류는 몸밖에 알을 낳아 적당한 습도와 온도에서 일정기간 품은 다음 병아리를 부화시키는 동물이다. (중략)

Recently deep interests and attractions have been paid on the generation of ozone, which is widely used to remove bad smell and to clear water. Silent discharge is considered as one of the most effective methods to generator ozone. In this paper, silent discharge reactors were made, waich were filled with different dielectric materials, and some silent discharge charactistics were investigated experimantaiiy.

In this study, the rock mass classification results from the face mapping and the resistivity inversion data are compared and analyzed for the reliability investigation of the determination of the rock support type based on the surface electrical survey. To get the quantitative correlation, rock engineering indices such as RCR(rock condition rating), N(Rock mass number), Q-system based on RMR(rock mass rating) are calculated. Kriging method as a post processing technique for global optimization is used to improve its resolution. The result of correlation analysis shows that the geological condition estimated from 2D electrical resistivity survey is coincident globally with the trend of rock type except for a few local areas. The correlation between the results of 3D electrical resistivity survey and the rock mass classification turns out to be very high. It can be concluded that 3D electrical resistivity survey is powerful to set up the reliable rock support type.

새학기의 시작과 더불어 게임판도에도 많은 변화가 있었다. 우선 막대한 제작비가 투입된 대작RPG의 오픈베타서비스가 시작되었다. 기본적인 구도는 당초 대작3인방으로 불리던 웹젠의 <썬>이 예상보다 오픈베타서비스 일정이 늦추어지는 바람에 한빛소프트의 <그라나도에스파다>와 넥슨의 <제라>가 맞대결을 펼치고 있는 양상이다. 이 두게임은 이미 김학규 프리미엄으로 개발 초기부터 관심이 집중되었다는 점과 캐주얼게임의 지존 넥슨에서 최초로 개발한 정통성인 RPG라는 점에서 관심을 불러 일으키고 있다. 한편, 게임계뿐만 아니라 사회 전체 이슈로 떠오르고 있는 ‘리니지 도용 사태’는 시간이 지날수록 그 피해규모가 급증하며 엔씨소프트 및 게임·IT업체 들의 주가가 큰폭으로 하락, 후폭풍이 만만치 않았다. 그러나 명의도용의 원인이 되었던 <리니지> 게임은 사회적 파장과는 무관하리만큼 게임사용량의 큰 변화 없이 여전히 막강한 위세(?)를 떨치고 있다. 이번 명의도용 사태가 엔씨소프트에겐 악재로 작용했지만, 리니지 게임에는 전국적 홍보를 할 수 있었던 호재로 작용 했다. 개학과 더불어 전체 게임 사용량이 소폭 하락했던 2월! 그럼 지금부터 2월 한달간 게임동향을 살펴봤다.

This experiment was carried out to examine the correlation among the semen characteristics of Holstein bulls. Seventy-two samples of semen were collected from 6 Holstein bulls, 2 to 10 years old. The characteristics of the semen were estimated by ordinary methods. The results obtained in this experiment were summarized as follows: 1. Semen characteristics on an average were 6.0 ml of volume, 16${\times}$108/ml of concentration, 92.4${\times}$108 of total sperm number(TSN), 72.1% of motility and 4.6% of abnormality. 2. Semen volume was positively high correlated (P<0.01) with total sperm number, but negative correlation was observed with the sperm motility (P<0.05) and semen concentration. 3. In relation to their age, older bulls semen volume and total sperm number were increased (P<0.01), but semen concentration and motility were decreased (P<0.01).

This study was carried out to investigate the characteristics of semen and egg storage period on hatchability of Korean native chicken(KNC, 44-wk old). The body weight, volume of semen, concentration of spermatozoa, total sperm of an ejaculate, motility of sperm and percentage of fertile eggs were 2,555.89g, 0.473$m\ell$, 30.81${\times}$10(sup)8/$m\ell$, 13.14${\times}$10(sup)8 cells, 3.58 and 91.69%, respectively, in KNC. The percentage of fertile eggs were 87.9∼96.0% on storage period in KNC. The viability and hatchability were 80.2%. 74.6%, respectively, in storage period for 22 days in storage temperature of 11∼14$^{\circ}C$. The results of the trial show that viability can be get more than 80% in storage period for 3 weeks in storage temperature of about 13$^{\circ}C$.

This experiment was conducted to determine the effect of dietary red pepper seed oil meal (RPSOM) on the performance and the fat pad content in broiler chicks. feeding trial was conducted with 360 birds broiler chicks for 8 weeks. The levels of dietary RPSOM were 0, 5, 10 and 15% and mixed in diet consisting of corn and soybean meal. Body weight, feed intake, feed conversion and mixed in diet consisting of corn and soybean meal. Body weight, feed intake, feed conversion and viability were not significantly different among treatments. The percentage of abdominal fat and skin color were not significantly differents among treatments. The results of the feeding trial show that RPSOM can be used within 10% in broiler diet.

An assessment of the field performance of machines for varied farming conditions may be essential to the development of mechanization program and rational machinery management. The field performance of machines is largely affected by the field capacity of machinery selected, physical size and shape of field plots and their scatterness, farming functions and conditions, and labor requirement and constraints. The study was to develop the mathematical model for the field performance of machines and time requirement of the rice farming systems, considering those factors which affect the field performance of machines. The mathematical models developed were simulated to determine field efficiency and capacity of the different sizes of major machinery for a various size of paddy field plot and for prevailing conditions of farming operations. The effects of the sises of machinery and the plot geometry on the efficiency and field capacity were compared for major rice farming functions.
