  • 대기 중에 부유하고 있는 입자상 물질은 보통 입경에 따라 2.5$\mu\textrm{m}$ 이하의 미세입자와 2.5$\mu\textrm{m}$ 이상의 조대입자로 나눌 수 있다. 조대입자는 토양 및 해염, 꽃가루, 화산재 및 토양 먼지와 같이 자연발생원에서 주로 생성되며, 인체에 큰 영향을 미치지 않는다. 그러나 미세입자는 화석연료의 연소, 자동차의 배출가스 및 화학물질의 제조공정 등의 인위적 발생원에서 주로 방출되며, 또한 이들 1차 생성분진과는 달리 대기중에서 황산가스나 휘발성 유기화합물 둥이 응축과정을 거쳐 가스상에서 입자상으로 변환되어 생성된 2차 입자도 환경학적으로 매우 중요한 의미를 갖는다.   • The effects on the formation of anodic oxide films on Mg-Al alloy (AZ91) in 1M-NaOH solution was investigated using parameters of current density and time during anodizing The general tendency has been confirmed that the increase of anodizing time improves the corrosion resistance. It is considered that the formation of anodic oxide film was increased by increasing the applied current and the anodizing time to generate active dissolution reaction In anodizing at constant current density. passivity potentials shifted to noble direction with increasing current densities. It was confirmed that oxygen quantify in anodic oxide films increased with anodizing time. The compact films above 4 $mA/cm^2$ were formed with the shape of an island in grooves at early stage and then grew with combination of the islands

  • The chemical conversion film formed on magnesium alloy was investigated by using the colloidal silica with some parameters such as solution pH. temperature, solution conditions, and treatment time. Moreover. the solutions consisted of colloidal silica titanium sulfate, and cobalt ions were used for the colloidal silica film to having a good corrosion resistance and adhesion properties. It was thought that the film at 298K was made with combination of Si-O. The quantity of film formed at high temperature such as 333K and 353K is smaller than dissolved quantity during chemical conversion treatment. Adding $CoSO_4$ to the colloidal silica solution enhanced the adhesion force between the silica film and magnesium substrate, The optimum conditions for the chemical conversion treatment solution were PH 2.90 s treatment, and 298K.

  • Jambangee's advertisements in spring 1998 attracted public attention by the differentiating message of 'nationalism'. The purpose of this paper is to interpret Korean youth's culture of consumption, value, thought and culture expressed in these advertisements. The semiotic analytic method of F. Saussure and R. Barthe were used. Metaphor and metonymy as interpretive tools were used. Two levels of meaning, denotation and connotation were examined, and idelogies and mythologies were sought. Contrary to the most of jean advertisements which show youth, characteristic style, western life style and westernized beauty, refinement, materialism, and social differentiation, Jambangee's advertisement showed nationalism and patriotism. These advertisements criticized that preference of imported goods and ostentation of purchasing power brought crisis of economy and I.M.F. system. Jambangee's jeans symbolized as the meaning of nationalism and patriotism were suggested as a way to save our country. Jambangee's advertisements are meaningful. Because we had accepted western fashion passively so far, but for the first time Jambangee applied Korean design elements to jeans and gave new meanings to them through the 'nationalism'campaign.

  • The various contents of MgF2 from 0 to 12.5wt% are studied in the AlF3-(Mg+Sr+Ba)F2-P2O5 system for the effects of various properties in glasses and the atmosphere of melting was controlled by N2 and Ar gas respectively. Density, refractive index, infrared transmission, thermal conductivity and thermal expansion coefficient of glasses are determined. Density, refractive index and thermal conductivity are decreased, micro-hardness and thermal expansion coefficient are increased according to the increasing of MgF2 contents. Infrared transmittance decreases with increasing the MgF2 contents and it slightly dropped by air than N2 and Ar atmosphere. Other properties are not influenced by atmosphere control.

  • 잔류응력이 부품의 성능에 미치는 영향에 대해 많은 연구가 되어져왔고, 이를 성능개선에 효과적으로 응용하는 많은 방법들이 소개되었다. 또한, 부품의 가공성, 변형 등에 대한 잔류응력의 영향을 정량적 또는 정성적으로 해석하는 연구가 지속되어져 왔을 뿐 아니라, 복합재료 내에서의 잔류응력과 그의 영향에 대해서도 활발한 연구가 계속되고 있다. 이처럼 잔류응력의 분야는 그의 측정, 응용 및 구조물내의 역할 등에 대한 연구의 잠재성이 큰 분야이다. 잔류응력이 부품의 성능에 미치는 영향에 대한 정확한 예측과 효율적 응용을 위해서는 잔류응력을 비파괴적으로, 정량적으로 정확히 그리고 부품 전체에 걸쳐 현장에서 신속히 측정할수 있는 방법이 절실히 요구되어지고 있지만 아직 이러한 방법은 존재하지 않는다. 여기에 대한 연구가 이루어지고 방법이 개발되어질 수 있다면 이는 대단히 획기적인 연구가 될 것이다. Neutron diffraction technique이 이에 가장 근접한 방법이 되겠으나 현장에서의 신속한 측정에는 아직 매우 미흡하다.

  • An automobile lower arm has been fabricated in a prototype form by hydroforming with the aids of numerical analysis and experiments. For the numerical process design, a program called HydroFORM-3D developed here on the basis of a rigid-plastic model, has been applied to the lower arm hydroforming. The friction calculation between die and workpiece has been dealt carefully by introducing a new scheme in three-dimensional surface integration. To accomplish successful hydroforming process design, thorough investigation on proper combination of process parameters such as internal hydraulic pressure, axial feeding, and tool geometry has been performed. Results obtained from numerical simulation for a lower arm in hydroforming process are compared with a series of experiments. The comparison shows that the numerical analysis successfully provides the manufacturing information on the lower arm hydroforming, and it predicts the geometrical deformation and the thinning.

  • Blanking is one of the most frequently used processes in sheet metal forming. In this paper, attention is paid to the blanking simulation of aluminium foil with $20{\mu}m$ thickness which is used an anode in lithium-ion polymer battery. In order to study the shearing mechanism for the metallic foil, finite element analysis with Crockroft and Latham fracture criterion was performed. The objective of the present work is to evolve a methodology to obtain the optimum punch-die clearance for a given aluminium foil by the simulation of the blanking process using a general purpose FEM code.
