Analysis and Prediction for Abutment Behavior of Prestressed Concrete Girder Integral Abutment Bridges (프리스트레스트 콘크리트 거더 일체식 교량의 교대 거동 해석과 예측)

  • This paper discusses the analysis method of prestressed concrete girder integral abutment bridges for a 75-year bridge life and the development of prediction models for abutment displacements under thermal loading due to annual temperature fluctuation and time-dependent loading. The developed nonlinear numerical modeling methodologies considered soil-structure interaction between supporting piles and surrounding soils and between abutment and backfills. Material nonlinearity was also considered to simulate differential rotation in construction joints between abutment and backwall. Based on the numerical modeling methodologies, a parametric study of 243 analysis cases, considering five parameters: (1) thermal expansion coefficient, (2) bridge length, (3) backfill height, (4) backfill stiffness, and (5) pile soil stiffness, was performed to established prediction models for abutment displacements over a bridge life. The parametric study results revealed that thermal expansion coefficient, bridge length, and pile-soil stiffness significantly influenced the abutment displacement. Bridge length parameter significantly influenced the abutment top displacement at the centroid of the superstructure, which is similar to the free expansion analysis results. Developed prediction model can be used for a preliminary design of integral abutment bridges.

  • A nonlinear mathematical model of longitudinal combustion instability appropriate for ramjets and augmenters was developed based on modal analysis. The model was limited to a two-mode formulation. The associated differential equations were solved both analytically and numerically. The two-mode nonlinear model is capable of predicting the bootstrapping effect which characterizes nonlinear velocity-sensitive combustion response. Also, parametric studies were performed.

  • 단 채널 MOSFET 소자의 드레인 전압-드레인 전류 특성을 예측하기 위해서 caughey-thomas 이동도 모델을 수치적으로 구현하는 방법을 제안한다. 구현된 caughey-thomas 모델의 정확한 특성을 검증하기 위해서 0.5[.mu.m]의 설계규칙을 가즌 ASIC용 공정으로 n-MOSFET과 p-MOSFET을 제작하였다. 전자 및 정공의 포화속도 값이 각각 6.2*10/sup 6/[cm/sec] 과 1.034*10/sup 7/[cm/sec]인 경우에 채널길이가 0.5[.mu.m] 이상인 n-MOSFET과 p-MOSFET의 드레인 전압-드레인 전류특성의 모의실험 결과는 측정값에 비하여 10% 이내의 상대오차를 보였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 패치별 EGI 분포를 이용한 3D 다각형 메쉬 모델 (polygonal mesh model) 워터마킹 알고리즘을 제안하였다 제안한 알고리즘에서는 기하학적 변형에 견고하기 위하여 3D 메쉬 모델을 6개 패치로 분할한다. 그리고 위상학적 변형에 견실한 특성을 가지는 EGI 분포를 각 패치별로 구한다. 그리고 동일한 워터마크 비트열을 각 패치의 EGI 분포 중에서 길이가 큰 면체에 투영된 메쉬 법선 벡터들에 각각 삽입한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 워터마킹 알고리즘의 성능 평가를 위한 모의 실험에서 워터마크가 삽입된 모델의 비가시성 및 다양한 공격에 대한 견고성이 우수함을 확인하였다.

  • Longitudinal elongation develops in reinforced concrete beams that exhibit flexural yielding during cyclic loading. The longitudinal elongation can decrease the shear strength and deformation capacity of the beams. In the present study, nonlinear truss model analysis was performed to study the elongation mechanism of reinforced concrete beams. The results showed that residual tensile plastic strain of the longitudinal reinforcing bar in the plastic hinge is the primary factor causing the member elongation, and that the shear-force transfer mechanism of diagonal concrete struts has a substantial effect on the magnitude of the elongation. Based on the analysis results, a simplified method for evaluating member elongation was developed.   • Automatic modulation classification(AMC) is a core technique in Software Defined Radio(SDR) platform that enables smart and flexible spectrum sensing and access in a wide frequency band. In this study, we propose a simple yet accurate deep learning-based method that allows AMC for variable-size radio signals. To this end, we design a classification architecture consisting of two Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)-based models, namely main and small models, which were trained on radio signal datasets with two different signal sizes, respectively. Then, for a received signal input with an arbitrary length, modulation classification is performed by augmenting the input samples using a self-replicating padding technique to fit the input layer size of our model. Experiments using the RadioML 2018.01A dataset demonstrated that the proposed method provides higher accuracy than the existing methods in all signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) domains with less computation overhead.

A Simple Model of Shrinkage Cracking Development for Kaolinite (수축 균열 발달 과정을 위한 단순 모델)

  • The experiments have been conducted on Kaolinite in laboratory to investigate the development of shrinkage cracking and propose a simple model. Image analysis method consisting of control point selection(CPS) technique is used to process and analyze images of soil cracking captured by a digital camera. The distributions of crack length increment and crack area increment vary as a three-step process. These steps are regarded as stages of soil cracking. They are in turn primary crack, secondary crack and shrinkage crack stages. In case of crack area, the primary and secondary stages end at normalized gravimetric water content(NGWC) of 0.92 and 0.70 for different specimen thicknesses respectively. In addition, the primary stage in case of crack length also ends at NGWC of 0.92 while the secondary stage stops at NGWC of 0.79, 0.82, and 0.85 for the sample thicknesses of 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 cm respectively Based on the experimental results, the distributions of crack length increment and crack area increment appear to be linear with a decrease of NGWC. Therefore, the development of shrinkage cracking is proposed typically by a simple model functioned by a combination of three linear expressions.

  • 대부분의 암호이론은 공개되어 있기 때문에 정보보안 기술의 안전성은 암호 알고리즘과 키 길이에 의존성이 크다. 본 논문에서는 해쉬함수와 카오스 함수를 이용하여 암·복호화를 위한 권장 키 길이보다 작은 길이의 일회성을 갖는 공개키와 비밀키를 생성하여 공개키 암호 알고리즘의 대표격인 RSA 암호방식에 적용하여 본다. 소인수 분해 알고리즘의 개선·발전과 시스템의 처리속도 증가에서 오는 키길이 증가 문제를 해결하므로 스마트 카드와 같은 제한된 메모리에서 실용적으로 사용할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 암·복호화를 수행하는 처리 시간을 단축 시킬 수 있으며, 키 관리면에서도 여러개의 공개키/비?키를 사용하는 경우보다 실용적이다.

  • 가스-액체 이젝터에 관한 수치해석은 3차원 CFD 모델로 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 이젝터의 유동특성과 질량전달특성에 대한 작동조건과 이젝터의 기하학적 모형의 영향에 관한 연구를 수행하고자 한다. CFD 결과 실험 데이터에 의하여 검증되었으며, 유동 분석과 이젝터 성능의 예측 또한 실행되었다. 작동상태의 변화는 0.2 $\sim$ 1.2 범위에서 가스-액체 유량비를 변화시킴으로서 주어진다. 혼합관의 $L_M/D_M$이 4 $\sim$ 10의 범위에서 변화를 주었다. CFD 연구는 길이와 직경비가 5.5일 때 체적 유량전달계수는 가스 유량이 증가함에 따라 증가한다는 것을 나타낸다. 동시에 $L_M/D_M$가 4일 때 체적유량전달계수는 기체-액체 유량비가 0.6에서 최대치에 도달한다. 또한, 체적 유량전달계수는 혼합 튜브길이가 증가함에 따라 감소한다.

Analysis for Nonlinear Behavior of Concrete Panel Considering Steel Bar Buckling (철근 좌굴을 고려한 콘크리트 패널의 비선형 거동에 대한 해석)

  • Many constitutive models for concrete have been developed to predict the nonlinear behavior of concrete members considerably. The constitutive model for reinforcing bar that include the tension stiffening effect due to the bond characteristics between steel bars and concrete is being studied but the bilinear model is generally used. It was found that the buckling of the longitudinal reinforcing bars is controlled the nonlinear behavior of hybrid precast concrete panel, which is being developed for core wall. In this study, the constitutive models that can consider the embedding and buckling effects of reinforcing bar are investigated and a new model combing these constitutive models is proposed. In order to verify the proposed model, the analysis results are compared with experimental results of the concrete wall and hybrid precast concrete panel. The analysis of embedding-effect-only modeling predicted that the deformation increases continually without the decrease in the load carrying capacity. However, the analysis results of proposed model showed good agreement with some experimental results, thus verifying the proposed computational model.
