Recently, a research regarding calculation of construction time extension-oriented incidental costs has been intensively suggested in quantitative aspect and recent studies on system improvement has been made continuously. In the case of Domestic Public Construction Works, State Contract Act is applied when the client is government whereas Local Government Contract Act is done when the client is local government, but more meticulous study is required because improvement plan is not proposed even there is a clear demand for improvement of these problems on calculation standard. Thus this study suggested appropriate standard by comparing each the calculation standards followed by 'State Contract Act' and 'Local Government Contract Act', considering the problems accorded, and analyzing field cases. Calculation method of other expenses was differently regulated as the revision of each regulation, and this demonstrates that there is a difference of actual cost from 12.37% to 24.95%. It is shown that less cost of construction time were calculated than actual cost according to a problem of calculation method by State Contract Act as the rate at the time of contract to be applied in other expense rate. This study suggested the rate against incidental cost and the rate of other expense per day against total construction cost as an appropriate rate calculation for other expense based on field database.

This study has analyzed demonstratively the total of 192 dissertations published on the Korea Security Science Association Journal for the last 10 years in order to take a look at the research trends in the field of security. Based on this, this study intends to examine the research trends in the research field of security and present suggestions. The standard for analysis was largely divided into per period, per subject and per method of research. First, the research trend of the group per period was classified into a quickening period, a formative period and a development period. As a result, among the total of 192 dissertations, the quickening period occupied 45%, the formative, 42% and the development, 13%. The dissertations in the field of security were made up of 52% in the formative, 37% in the quickening and 11% in the development period. Also, it was shown that the number of dissertations in the field of security and escort did not even come up to half of total number of publications. Secondly, the research trend of the group per subject is divided into per large subject and per medium subject. As a result, all quickening, formative and development periods showed the highest values for other researches, which showed a tendency to lean upon other researches. In classifying the group per large subject by period, it presented similar aspects with 46% of the quickening period and 43% of the formative. Lastly, for the trends per method of research, compared to 23% of quantitative research, the qualitative research held 77%, which showed an overall tendency to depend on the qualitative research.

Thus in order to have a better understanding about the KSA(Korean Security association) and to express opinions on its role and security, this paper introduces and discusses about All Japan Security Service Association(AJSSA), which is the prototype of the KSA. There are several positive aspects to consider the introduction of, when these two associations are compared: the traffic security, a supporting member, ex-high-ranking police executive directors practically run AJSSA. These are to enhance financial ability and to promote better relationship with police. KSA needs to improve such relationship and to diversify activities as well. In addition, not just dismissing their duty by giving them the license, AJSSA provides several educations to revitalize the related people so that they can deal in effective and productive services. In another words, JSA perceives it is indispensable to educate the relevant people in the business. In contrast, it is reality that KSA has not put much emphasis on educations. Concisely, the most prompt issue is it should be more beneficial to its members by strengthening itself. Not simply following the example of foreign cases, but putting diverse efforts, KSA can make it substantial and stabilize future private security market in a long term.

This study aims to analysis and measure on the private security for the academic directivity and security industry for the market directivity in Korea. For this study we compare and analysis the curriculum of 15 universities in Korea and the papers which were published on "Korean Security Science Review" that is a report in a professional private security. In conclusion, 269 subjects are used as instructional materials in 15 universities, thus 103 subjects for the private security and 60 for the leisure sports and first-aid treatment, 46 for the social science, 30 for the martial arts and shooting, 16 for the secretary affairs, 14 for the foreign languages. Regarding scientistic papers, 45.7% of papers for the private security of all and 14.6% for the public security, 14.6% for the criminal, and 11.6% for the terror etc. But there are any papers for the facilities guard or security in spite of the facilities guard is pivotal role in this field. The facilities guard or security, or maybe house detective, holds 80.5% of the private security market and it is important role in this industry in Korea. Besides, considering development of private security, the security market makeup the body-guard field hold 12.2%, prevention security system by censor hold 4.1%. So, this statistics show that the facilities guard lead practically the private security industry in this field, but there are any subjects for the education and any research for the paper. Thus some modification on the universities curriculum is required, also needs activity research in the facilities guard field for the development private security.

The purpose of this research is to achieve qualitative growth for private security industry as a sector of service industry to attract clients and promote the growth of the private security industry by analyzing the factors which influence the customer's service satisfaction in using the private security services. A regression analysis was conducted to determine the factors which influences the satisfaction of private security service to ultimately achieve the research purpose. In the regression analysis, the difference between corporate clients and individual clients were analyzed for the sake of providing better security services and marketing applications. As a result, the factors that influences the satisfaction of the categorized groups were very clearly signified. Both individual and corporate clients showed increase in satisfaction rate when the fear of crime decreased. This result implies that the private security firms must possess segmented strategies as well as strategies to lower the fear factors of clients. There were no differences in all satisfaction-influencing factors when the fear reduction variable was exempted among both corporate and individual clients in usage satisfaction. This result shows that clients demand varies according to the client and the security firms must react to these demands by the clients. Although private security industry possess very clear publicity, it is a profit generating industry sector therefore, like other service industry, the private security services must implement strategies to keep up with the paradigm. If the satisfaction determinants from the research results are grafted into strategies such relationship marketing and target market selection, higher service satisfaction can be achieved from the clients.

Recently the demand for civil bodyguards and security guards shows rapid growth with social development that lead the social structure environment. In recent years, the security industry and market seems to be increasingly affected by new social environment changes. In addition to that, efficient management for the private security needs to many security managers. So, the management for the private security is a matter of primary concern to all security managers. The purpose of this research is to apply efficient management for the private security and how security managers leadership type effects on working attitude for guards. Then, this study is composed of the introduction in the first chapter, theological consideration of leadership and working attitude in the second chapter, research application in the third chapter and finally the conclusion in the fourth chapter. For the security managers, the organization can be altered its efficiency by organizing groups applying what kind of leadership to how it wed. Considering to its characteristic of security organization, the leadership is not only important factor effecting on outcome of organization but also core activity achieving the goal of organization to private security managers.

This research is looking for the private security industry and diagnostic issues and enable our strategy will be presented through SWOT analysis for the management environment of private security industry to ultimately contribute to the private security industry. Along, the purpose of this research is to want to reach key factors which affect the competitiveness of the private security industry. This study was to conduct literature research and surveys. And analyzing literature and data was collected. And determined the status of private security industry by conducted a comprehensive survey with 13 experts is causal. The question investigation hemisphere the question which harmonizes became accomplished in the center. Like this question analyzed the opinion of the identical research participant and 3 times was executed repetitively, and 2 to verify the data through multiple data as a basis for the SWOT analysis of the environment. Accordingly, the following conclusion emerges. First, the private security industry-related legislation will complement the systematic. This is the task of the public security authority and the relationship will be in the direction for improvement. Second, to develop strategies for diversification of products and services through the use of IT. This business what development security services and products based on IT advanced technology can provide a solution to maximize profits to large security companies and to all of the small companies. Third, it should seek ways to make exports that social safety net project based on security technology and capital of Kore for other Asian countries or developing countries in the world.

In modern society, private securities have developed their capabilities continuously. However, despite the fact that not only security industries have been considerably expanded in quantity, but also plenty of scholars published diverse papers relating to security problems, qualitative growths of private securities have not accomplished fully. Especially, securing the President would not be guaranteed only by PSS(Presidential Security Service). In order to secure the President successfully, it is necessary for all the social parts to strive to protect the President. In this respect, improving private securities, including academic fields, might be critical so as to succeed in securing the President. Without the supports from private securities, there might be lots of security problems in national context. Therefore, this study proposes several policy suggestions for the cooperation among PSS, private security industries and academic fields: (1) Providing a lot of practical knowledge from PSS to college students, (2) Personnel exchange between academic parts and PSS to promote the efficiency of securing the President, (3) Furnishing diverse information and knowledge about security to private securities, (4) Formulating security-searching standards, (5) Expanding educational institutions under PSS.

Conventional truss optimization approaches, while often sophisticated and computationally intensive, have been applied to simple, minimum weight-cost models. These approaches do not perform well when applied to real-world trusses, which have costmodels that are complex and which often involve multiple objectives. Thus, this paper describes the optimization strategies that a clustering technique, which identifies members that are likely to have the same product type, uses for the optimal design of truss structures with real- world cost functions that consider the costs on the weight of the truss, the number of products in the design, the number of joints in the structures, and the costs required in the site.At first, the clustering technique is applied to identify the members and to generate a proper initial solution. A simple taboo search technique is then used, which attempts to generate the optimal solution by starting with the solution from the previous technique. For example, the proposed approach is a plied to a typical problem and to a problem similar to relative performances. The results show that this algorithm generates not only better-quality solutions but also more efficient ones
