전문용어의 정비, 기초 데이터 구축 및 관리, 전문용어의 구축 과정의 표준화 방안, 전문용어 정비의 심의에 대해서 알아 보고자 한다. 전문용어의 정의에 대해서 간단하게 알아보고, 전문용어 정비를 위한 공정도를 소개하며, 전문용어 정비 순서와 절차에 대해서 설명하고자 한다. 기초 데이터 구축 및 관리 과정에서 어떤 방법으로 기초 데이터를 구축하게 되었으며, 어떠한 절차에 따라 DB화 및 심의를 위한 준비를 하게 되는지를 보고하고자 한다. 또한 전문용어의 정비를 하는 과정에서 발생하는 몇 가지 문제점에 대해서 알아 보고, 표준화 방안을 제시하며, 마지막으로 전문용어 정비를 위한 심의 지침을 제시하고자 한다. 심의 지침은 기존의 연구에서 제시된 권장안을 바탕으로 전문용어의 정비를 위한 기준에 맞게 만들어졌다. 이 논문에서는 전문용어의 정비를 위한 전반적인 절차와 내용 그리고 심의에 대해 기준을 제시하는데 목적을 두고자 한다.

최근들어 원예학, 농학, 식물학 등의 분야에서 각종 환경요인에 대한 식물의 생장반응을 연구하기 위한 기초 실험의 상당 부분이 인공광원을 사용한 가운데 이루어지고 있다. 또한 상기의 기초연구 이외에 식물공장에서와 같이 인공광과 태양광의 병용 또는 인공광만을 사용한 식물생산의 상업화에 대한 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 가운데 조직 배양묘, 접목묘, 실생묘 등을 인공광하에서 효율적으로 생산하기 위한 식물묘 생산의 실용화 연구도 수행되고 있다. 그런데 식물생산과 밀접하게 관련된 광(또는 복사)에 관련된 용어의 정의 또는 단위가 물리학, 조명 공학, 생물학 등의 전문 분야에 따라 서로 다른 경우가 있으며, 식물을 연구 대상으로 삼는 분야에서도 관련 용어와 단위가 뒤섞여 사용되기도 한다. 즉 하나의 용어가 복수의 의미로 사용되거나, 반대로 하나의 정의에 대해서 다수의 용어가 사용되기도 한다. 이러한 경우 단위가 명확하게 표시되지 않으면 사용된 용어의 의미가 애매하게 전달될 수 있다. 그러므로 식물생산과 관련된 용어 또는 단위의 사용에 혼란이 초래되지 않도록 용어와 단위를 통일하는 것이 바람직 할 것으로 판단된다.(중략)

The purpose of this study is to analyze use patterns of archival terms and suggests the directions for their standardization. This present paper begins with analyzing translation patterns of fundamental terminology in the area of records and archives management and compares with corresponding Chinese and Japanese words. And some problems of essential terms are discussed in the light of standardization criteria which are adjusted to archival terms. Based on these analyses, it suggests directions for standardizing archival terms.

본 논문에서는 한국통신(KT)에서 사용되는 주요 용어들을 추출하여 추출된 용어들 간의 고유성과 관계성을 기초로 한 용어 온토로지를 구축하였다. 또한 생성된 용어 온토로지를 이용한 검색질의 예를 통해서 기업의 다양한 분야를 관리하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 방안을 모색했다. 온토로지 구축 툴로는 은토로지 에디터, Protege를 사용하였으며. 온토로지는 최상위 클래스 Organization(기관), Employee(직원), Product(상품), Technique(기술) 등 4가지로 분류하여 구축하였다. 본 연구를 기초로 한국통신(KT)의 다양한 지식정보를 체계화하고 KT 데이터베이스를 효과적으로 관리할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 구축된 온토로지를 이용한 미래의 KT 시멘틱 검색시스템 구축에 기초가 되기를 기대한다.

The study was made to examine basic data for the eventual establishment of scientific terms in forestry and also propose tentatively correct terms in the soil erosion control measures in various fields of rehabilitation works. The 30 foundamental measures and 279 measures concerned with soil erosion control works are collected and arranged in sequence of gully, hillside, and sanddune erosion control measures and in order of Chinese, Korean and English respectively.

This study tries to identify the terms which shared the same meaning with a present-day geographical concept region, or jibang(地方) in Korean, Prior to the initiation of modem geography. The analysis of the annals of the pre-modem political regimes and the earliest geography textbooks ends up with the terms oe(外), bang(方), oebang(外方), ji(地面). These terminologies, although having had almost similar meanings that region intends, nonetheless deliver somewhat different connotation depending on the context and times in and during which they were used. Another finding of significance is that region and jibang, both central .words in contemporary geography, began to be used only after the introduction, by way of Japan, of modem geography in the early 20th century. The colonial experience and subsequent political and social turmoil, however, results in careless uses of the terms in geography teaching and research. Efforts need to be continued to address the problems of misuse of these basic terms and, by doing so, to raise geographical pursuits on a right track.

It is necessary to teach science terminology in order to solve the problems induced from the fact that students have low comprehension in science terminology. The purpose of this study was to investigate science teacher's perception of teaching science terminology. The questionnaires consisted of perception of science terminology, science terminology for teaching, teaching of science terminology, and teaching methods for science terminology. As a result, science teachers had difficulty with science terminology and were not familiar with them as well as students were. Despite having perceived the necessity of teaching science terminology because it serves as a great influence on students to study science, they didn't have enough knowledge of the teaching methods for science terminology, so that they felt difficulties in teaching science terminology. Finally, science teachers hope to display new science terminology with explanations on each page of the science textbooks.

국제정세의 변화와 오랜 통일에의 염원에 따라 남북한 상호간에 많은 교류가 예상되고 있다. 그러나 해방 후 분단 반세기 동안 남한과 북한은 전혀 교류가 없는 상태에서 서로 다른 길을 걸어왔기 때문에 모든 분야에서 상당한 이질감을 느낄 수 밖에 없다. 수학의 경우에도 분야에 따른 연구상황은 물론, 용어면에서도 많은 차이를 보인다. 우리가 별 노력없이 일본식 한자용어와 영어용어를 그대로 수용하고 있는 경향인데 반하여 북한에서는 한글화 작업에 많은 노력을 쏟아와 대부분의 수학용어들이 우리 고유의 한글로 정착되어 있다. 현재 우리의 감각에는 생소하고 어색한 단어들도 많지만 북한의 좋은 한글용어를 보완, 수정하는 등 중요 자료로 받아들여 우리의 수학용어를 체계화시킴으로써 통일된 앞날의 우리 수학발전에 기초로 삼아야 할 것이다.

우리나라에서 학문분야별로 출판된 전문용어사전의 표제어 기술형식은 매우 상이하다. 이러한 특징은 여러 분야의 전문용어사전을 참조해야 하는 이용자에게 많은 불편을 초래할 뿐만 아니라 표준화된 전자사전에 대한 요구를 충족시키지도 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 전자사전 표준화의 일환인 전문용어사전의 표제어 기술형식 표준화를 위한 기초작업의 일부로서 현재까지 우리나라기서 출판된 전문 용어사전을 대상으로 표제어의 기술형식에 대하여 기술요소, 기술요소의 순서, 띄어쓰기, 다의성을 갖는 용어의 구분, 배열 등에 대하여 조사 분석하였다.

The purpose of this study is to find out the problems related to the lack of research on rapidly changing digital information media and industry flow and to suggest solutions. In Korea what is needed is basic academic research on cartoon and animation field, and the development and systemization of teaching material. As a first step to achieve this goal, standardization of cartoon and animation related terminology and publication of a dictionary of terminology are underway. To reach agreements on terms, discover new terms, standardize terms and their interpretations, and publish a standardized dictionary, experts in the fields of cartoon and animation education, industry, and academia in North America, Europe, and Japan have been invited to work together. Through these efforts, a dictionary of terminology will be published, which will not only provide useful information but also solve problems related to the use of not standardized terms.
