Photographic records capturing the changes of a city are vital parts of local history archives. They were, however, not collected properly for the local history archives even by local governments. Therefore, as a solution for this problem, seven major cities (Seoul, Incheon, Gwangju, Ulsan, Daejeon, Busan, and Daegu) initiated the urban landscape documentation project for archiving the photographic records of each city. This study investigated the current status of the urban landscape documentation project and found that Daegu metropolitan city's project only holds some of the contest photos and a few old photos from the local government. A proper donating process is urgently needed to preserve valuable photographic records of Daegu, and this study aims solutions for the Daegu metropolitan city's urban landscape documentation project to improve the acquisition methods of photographic records. This study suggests the process for photographic records donation from citizens and a metadata set for donated photographs.

지난해 연말 일간지에 한 퇴임 교수의 공공도서관 장서 기증 소식이 소개되었다. 주인공은 리영희 전 한양대 교수로 그는 1970-80년대 청년학생들에겐 '사상의 은인'이었고, 맹목적 반공권력자들에겐 '의식화의 원흉'이었다. 한국의 대표적인 진보 지식인으로 손꼽혀 온 리영희 교수를 경기도 산본 자택에서 만나보았다.

인쇄사들이 겪고 있는 어려움중의 하나가 바로 서체문제다. 디자이너들이 마음껏 사용하는 서체를 인쇄사에서는 유료로 모두 구입해야 하기 때문이다. 이런 가운데 지난 1월 12일 대한인쇄문화협회에는 따뜻한 소식이 전해졌다. 바로 서체회사인 릭스코와 헤움에서 서체 40종을 무상기증하기 위해 협회를 찾았기 때문이다. 이에 본지에서는 릭스코와 헤움을 찾아가 기증한 서체와 함께 어떠한 서체를 공급하고 있는지 알아봤다.

출판사에서 발행하는 책 가운데 5-10% 정도는 저.역자 기증용, 홍보용으로 시장의 사정권에서 사라진다. 언론사나 대학교수에게도 울며 겨자먹기로 증정하지만, 정작 수요를 맡아줘야 할 지역 도서관에서 기증을 요청하는 경우도 많다. 책은 거저 얻을 수 있다는 생각이 바뀌고 전문지.도서관 기능이 강화돼야 한다는 지적이다.

This study is a non-equivalent control group quasi-experimental design to test the effectiveness of educational programs on human tissue donation for nursing students to change the perception of human tissue donation. The subjects of the study were 75 nursing students located in U city, 38 in the experimental group and 37 in the control group. The data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 23.0. The average age was 22.39±0.75 years old, women 84.2% and there was no difference in general characteristics and prior data between the two groups. Knowledge (F=-8.921, p<).001, Attitude (F=-5.414, p<).001, perception of death (F=-3.075, p=).004) showed a significant difference, and the educational intervention of nursing students developed to promote human tissue donation showed a positive effect on human tissue donation. When programs to be applied to educational institutions that train not only medical personnel but also experts in other fields must be developed, the establishment and stability of the human tissue donation culture will be solidified. It is also suggested that health care campaigns and education in public educational institutions should be conducted together.

Pneumocephalus after thoracoscopic excision of a mediastinal mass is a very rare complication. It presumably occurs due to dural injury near the spinal root and development of a subsequent subarachnoid-pleural fistula. A 60-year-old woman complained of nausea and headache after thoracoscopic excision of a posterior mediastinal mass. She was diagnosed with pneumocephalus by brain CT and recovered with supportive management.

Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the effects of Brain Death Organ Donation Education on nurses' knowledge and attitudes. Methods: It is a quasi-experimental study using the non-equivalent control group. A total of 100 nurses participated in the study; 50 in the experimental group, and the rest in control group. Collected data were analyzed using ${\chi}^2-test$, t-test and ANCOVA by SPSS 12.0 program Results: There was a statistically significant difference in knowledge (F=13.29, p<.001), and attitude (F=4.35, p=.040) after the experimental group received Brain Death Organ Donation Education. Conclusion: The Brain Death Organ Donation Education was revealed as an effective tool in improving nurses' knowledge and attitudes toward organ donation.

지난 4월 22일 정보통신부에서는 정보통신의 날 50주년을 축하하는 기념식이 개최됐다. 그런데 이 날의 주인공은 정보통신부를 대표하는 장관도 아니었고 21세기를 주도하는 정봉통신 분야 신기술도 아니었다. 평생 동안 수집한 체신(정보통신) 관련 사료 172점을 정보통신부에 기증한 원로 우표수집가이자 전 광주체신청장인 진기홍(92)선생에게 이 날의 스포트라이트가 집중됐다. 백수를 바라보는 나이지만 체신(정보통신)에 대한 펄펄 끓는 열정으로 젊은 날을 보낸 것만큼 아직도 그 건강과 당당함을 유지하고 있는 진 선생을 만나 자세한 사연을 들어봤다.
