This study aimed to investigate depression, fatigue, and role-overload in nurses caring for COVID-19 patients and identify factors affecting depression. Data were collected from 142 nurses caring for COVID-19 patients at four designated COVID-19 hospitals using self-report questionnaires, from September 8, 2020, to September 17, 2020. The subjects' scores for depression, fatigue, and role-overload were 14.51±9.54, 3.19±0.64, and 3.30±0.64 points, respectively. Depression was positively correlated with fatigue (r=.40, p<.001) and role-overload (r=.30, p<.001), and fatigue was positively correlated with role-overload (r=.54, p<.001). Factors affecting depression included fatigue (β=.23, p=.014), health status (moderate: β=.28, p=.001; unhealthy: β=.26, p=.002), and hospital type (university hospital: β=.18, p=.024). The explanatory power (R²) of the model was 28.1%. In order to manage the nurse's depression level, a strategy for lowering the fatigue level and a strategy for improving the nurse's health statue are needed.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of the communication ability, communication type and satisfaction of nursing service on the re-use intention of nursing and care integration services of the hospital. The research subjects were 291 patients who were hospitalized for more than 3 days in the integrated nursing and care service center. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. As a result of the study, the variables that significantly affect the reuse of integrated nursing services in hospitals were satisfaction with nursing services and integrated services. The explanatory power of these variables was 63.4%. Therefore, to increase the intention to re-use integrated nursing and care services of the hospitals, efforts are needed to increase the satisfaction of nursing services. And research on other variables that affect the guarantee is highly recommended.

This study examined the effect of cookbang cognition on the star chef image and career preparation behavior, and the moderating effect of career self-efficacy. A self-reported questionnaire survey was conducted on 271 college students of culinary arts major in Daegu and Gyeongju area and analyzed using a structural equation model. As results, cookbang cognition showed a significant positive effect on the star chef image, and image also had a positive effect on career preparation behavior. In addition, career self-efficacy has a moderating effect on the relationship between the star chef image and career preparation behavior. Through these results, it is possible to suggest foundation for the related field through theoretical and empirical verification of the process in which the influence of cookbang affects career preparation behavior. In the future, more systematic study in this field is required.

A novel OLED pixel circuit is proposed in this paper that uses only n-type thin-film transistors(TFTs) to improve the luminance non-uniformity of the AMOLED display caused by the threshold voltage variation of an OLED driving TFT. The proposed OLED pixel circuit is composed of 6 n-channel TFTs and 2 capacitors. The operation of the proposed OLED pixel circuit consists of the capacitor initializing period, threshold voltage sensing period of an OLED·driving TFT, image data voltage writing period, and OLED·emitting period. As a result of SmartSpice simulation, when the threshold voltage of·OLED·driving TFT varies from 1.2 V to 1.8 V, the proposed OLED pixel circuit has a maximum current error of 5.18 % at IOLED = 1 nA. And, when the OLED cathode voltage rises by 0.1 V, the proposed OLED pixel circuit has very little change in the OLED current compared to the conventional OLED pixel circuit. Therefore, the proposed pixel circuit exhibits superior compensation characteristics for the threshold voltage variation of an OLED driving TFT and the rise of the OLED cathode voltage compared to the conventional OLED pixel circuit.

In this research, Collectivism's influence on Japanese employee's volunteerism in IT Multinational Enterpise (MNE) was investigated with empathy mediating. Previous research on Hofstede's cultural dimensions were mostly conducted at national levels. However, in this study, Yoo's Cultural value Scale (CVSCALE) was used to analyze colletivistic tenedencies at individual levels and its influence on volunteerism. A total of 220 self-administering online surveys were distributed to IT MNE employees in Tokyo, Japan for three weeks period. 160 usable surveys were collected and analyzed with SPSS 21.0. Findings indicate collectivism positively influenced volunteerism in individuals with empathy as possible antecent of volunteerism. In conclusion and application, the significance of this research lies in indicating collectivism's positive influence on volunteerism and empathy as possible antecedents of volunteerism in Japanese employees even though Japan has displayed stronger individualism than the rest of East Asian neighbors.

This study was aimed at providing how to improve the service quality of home care workers, particularly through investigating their job stress and job satisfaction. Participants were randomly sampled persons who were living in P city and simultaneously serving as home care workers at the time of the study. This research conducted a self-reported questionnaire survey of them over one month of May 2021. Of collected data, responses from 130 of the participants were finally analyzing here using SPSS and PROCESS macro model 4. As a result, it was found that home care workers' job stress had no direct effect on their service quality, but had an indirect influence on it via job satisfaction. This means that the higher those workers are in job stress, the less they are in job satisfaction, ultimately having a negative impact on their service quality. Based on these findings, this study suggested some ways to raise home care workers' service quality.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data necessary for preparing a sustainable health insurance system in the future by analyzing the difference in the results of claims according to the claims status of health insurance of dental medical institutions and the level of health insurance knowledge. In this study, a self-written online questionnaire was conducted for dental medical institutions 209 workers from March to May 2019. As a result of the study, The demand for professional manpower according to claim satisfaction was statistically significant in the qualification requirements (p<.05). Therefore, the necessity of professional workers for dental health insurance claims was confirmed and policies for this should be prepared.

We analyzed the responses of 152 science-gifted high school students by surveying the status and recognition of writing and keeping laboratory notebooks to develop guidelines and education plans. Science-gifted students did not write laboratory notes diligently, despite recognizing that it is crucial to do so. Mentors also tended not to provide faithful guidance and inspection. There was an insufficient practice in using research evidence in laboratory notebooks, such as including names and dates for authentication. In addition, while a high ratio of students owned their own laboratory notebooks, there was not a high level of recognition regarding the retention period, ownership, and responsibility. Based on these results, we propose suggestions for improving educational institutions for gifted students in science. First, it is necessary to strengthen the guidance for science-gifted students to faithfully write laboratory notebooks. Second, education on writing laboratory notebooks should be provided. Third, science-gifted high schools should prepare regulations for the management of lab notes and conduct education based on them.

This study investigated the level of knowledge about changes in the oral environment according to the presence or absence of smoking in adults in their 20s and 40s. It was conducted to use as basic data for the relationship between periodontal disease and smoking and the importance of concurrent education on smoking cessation during oral health education for adults.In subjective oral condition analysis, 65.4% of non-smokers and 59.0% of smokers thought that it was very good or good. Also, in both the non-smokers and smokers groups, the most common answer was that they thought the cleanliness of non-smokers would be higher. To the question of whether they had ever received anti-smoking education, 63.9% of non-smokers and 76.1% of smokers answered 'yes'. In the education that 'the oral environment changes depending on whether or not there is smoking', the non-smoker group showed 'no' and the smoker group showed 'yes' respectively. As a result, oral health education related to smoking and prevention It is thought that specific and active educational methods should be accompanied for this.

This study attempted to understand the mediating effect of nursing professional perspective in the relationship between empathy and care efficacy of nursing college students. The subjects of the study were 175 nursing college students attending nursing departments at three universities in Korea, and data were collected through a self-written online survey. Descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis were performed on the collected data using SPSS 29.0, and Sobel tests were performed to verify the mediating effect. As a result of the study, there was a significant positive correlation between empathy, nursing professional perspective, and caring efficacy of nursing college students, and nursing professional perspective had a complete mediating effect in the relationship between empathy and caring efficacy. Therefore, it is important to increase empathy in order to improve nursing students' caring efficacy, and it is suggested that education is important to promote nursing professional perspective.
