GDS(Grating automatic Drawing System), which is an automatic design system of metal products called grating, is a system that produces various detailed drawings on the basis of information within a Plan Drawing that represents layout of the gratings such as locations, shapes, directions, etc. However, automatically produced drawings by GDS do not fully satisfy the standard of the general dimension marking method used among the layout designers. The lack of this standard quality mainly results from the fact that overlapping among dimension markings appears frequently. To solve the overlapping problem we applied the rule-based expert system which uses the expert's knowledges and facts to solve the problems. The rules for the expert system are designed based on the expertise of skilled layout designers within the grating production lines.

Chosundoseohaeje, a book type catalog was published three times under the rule of Japanese imperialism. This catalog has several characteristics of modem catalog as fellows : First, each record of this catalog includes title, volume no., statements of responsibility, printing type, annotated bibliography containing date, author, background, structure, contents of the book, and biographies. Second, this catalog has a subject retrieval system by the four-part classification(Kyung, Sa, Ja, Jib), title retrieval system by Japanese alphabetical index, and authorㆍeditor retrieval system by their family name index or king's name index. Third, this catalog has a system indicating the location of described books by Gyujanggak book numbers.

본 연구에서는 유해 중금속을 다량 함유하고 있는 산업폐기물의 고화 처리에 사용되는 칼슘설포알루미네이트(4CaO $3Al_2O_3\;SO_4$ 이후부터 CSA로 기입)의 제조를 위해 철강부산물인 압연 슬러지를 활용하여 그 특성에 대해 조사하였다. 본 연구에서는 철강 부산물인 압연슬러지 외에 석회석 미분물, 인산부산 석고를 혼합하여 칼슘알루미네이트 상을 합성하였다. 합성 결과 소성온도 $1250^{\circ}C$에서부터 CSA가 합성되었고, 이와 함께 칼슘실리케이트$(2CaO\;SiO_2)$와 칼슘알루미노페라이트($4CaO\;Al_2O_3\;Fe_2O_3$)도 함께 합성되었다. CSA 합성에 미치는 중금속 영향을 관찰한 결과 원료의 중금속이 CSA 합성 온도를 낮추는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. CSA를 이용한 철강산업 폐기물의 중금속 고용 처리 연구에서도 본 실험에서 합성된 CSA가 폐기물의 중금속 고화 처리에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

In this thesis, the matching network at the local oscillator port of the sub-harmonic mixer is optimized for reducing the conversion loss. A downconverter for point to point system applications is designed and fabricated using the such sub-harmonic mixer. The sub-harmonic mixer achieved the conversion loss of 11.8 dB at the 12 dBm input power of the local oscillator and the isolation of less than -40 dB. The downconverter achieved the IF output power flatness of 2 dB and the total noise figure of 5.9 dB.

This study was conducted to provide information which will be useful for managing the forest trails effectively. To investigate users' attitudes toward the forest trail construction and use, a questionnaire survey was employed in the Jirisan Dulegil. As the results, most of the respondents perceived that the Jirisan Dulegil have positive impact economically and socio-culturally on community growth. Contrastively, a negative perception existed in the environmental aspect. The users' satisfaction level regarding the Jirisan Dulegil appear to be positive. Users' satisfaction level regarding use services provided in community boundary was evaluated relatively lower. In this point of view, trail use service system provided in the community should be reconsidered for effective forest trail management.

In this paper, OMR system based on image processing is developed which improve the performance of conventional OMR system based on line-scan method. Based on this OMR system, real-time OCR system which recognizes alphanumerics is also developed. We propose the OMCR system which recognize the mark and numerals at the same time. Besides, we improve the input system using constrained 7-segment type handwritten numeral instead of mark to solve the problem caused by miswriting the mark. In summary, we verified the reai-time recognition performance of developed OMCR system using application form for admission, answer sheet for college entrance examination and receipt sheet.

This study analyzes presentation methods of traffic guide maps to guide drivers easily and correctly to their destinations on complex road networks. The problems of Korea's guidance systems were analyzed and domestic and international road guide maps were compared. This study includes the problems of road number discernment, such as the sizes, colors and marking intervals on the map. The widths and colors of different hierarchical roads were evaluated. The indices, enlarged downtown maps and uncertainty of grade separation on the map were analyzed and the solutions were also provided.

Mixed-mode (MM) designs in which data are collected by different modes in one design have become increasingly popular. An MM data collection has several advantages such as reductions of coverage error, non-response and cost. However, MM designs may introduce mode effects that are confounded by selection effects and measurement effects, which can make MM data quality poor. In order to investigate mode effects, SRI implemented a concurrent mixed-mode experiment in 2014 where respondents could choose between a self-administrated Web survey and a self-administrated paper survey. This paper separately estimates selection effects and measurement effects. We found that measurement effects on some items are large.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the quality of the Serials Union Catalog(UCAT) of KISTI. In examining both MARC records and bibliographic display records of 172 Japanese serials, AACR2R and KORMARC formats were used as the standard rules. Those records were described in the minimum or incomplete level ; but had repeated errors in various data fields, which included the incorrect choice of main headings, parallel titles and other titles, the improper use of language codes and related data fields, and the provision of incomplete information, etc. To improve the overall quality of bibliographic database, thorough comprehension and application of cataloging rules and MARC formats are strongly required.

This study was conducted to investigate knowledge and attitudes about AIDS among dental hygiene students in a college. The study population surveyed by means of a self-administered questionnaire consisted 265 of them. The converted score of knowledge of AIDS among all respondents was $76.4({\pm}13.4)$ point if 100 point for all statements were correctly answered. More than half of them said they were afraid of getting AIDS. The majority of them had a reluctance toward HIV infected patients. Almost all said that they felt the fear of infection if they had to treat HIV infected people. In conclusion, dental hygiene students should be educated more about AIDS.
