Design of Automatic Ship Maneuvering Control System (선박 자동 운항 제어기의 설계)

  • This paper is concerned with the design of automatic ship maneuvering system including automatic path tracking controller and automatic berthing controller. The optimal control technique is employed to design the automatic path tracking controller, which is based on the linearized equations of ship motion. The numerical example shows that the automatic path tracking controller is capable of tracking the line between way points which are determined by pilot a priori. The decentralized control technique is employed to design the automatic berthing controller. In addition to the automatic path tracking controller, the fuzzy logic controller is used to control the forward speed. The numerical example shows that the automatic berthing controller can be successfully implemented.

Design of a Boradband Power Divider by Distributed Network Synthesis (분포정수 회로합성에 의한 광대역 전력분배기 설계)

  • In this paper, the synthesis of distributed impedance transformers is presented that is essential for power divider design, whereby a broadband power divider is designed. Transfer functions of distributed transformers are synthesized with Chebyshev approximation, and their element values are calculated for various minimum insertion losses(MIL) and ripples. Desired performance of transformers is obtained by optimizing MIL's and ripples of a transfer function. As an application example, a four-way power divider is designed that operates over 2 to 8GHz frequency range. Experimental results are shown to approach the design performance, so transformer design by distributed network synthesis proves to be useful to power divider design.

  • Acoustic coupling between combustion chamber and gas-liquid scheme injectors are studied numerically in liquid rocket engine adopting linear acoustic analysis. The injectors can play a role as half-wave resonators. The combustion chamber with numerous injectors shows peculiar acoustic coupling with the injectors. As the injector length approaches a half wavelength or the original tuning length, new injector-coupled acoustic modes show up in the chamber and thereby, the acoustic-damping effect of the tuned injectors is appreciably degraded.

  • When the vehicle passes through turnout, the design is required to minimize the change of lateral force. Therefore, in case the vehicle passed the through turnout, we ought to execute dynamic analysis of the interaction between the vehicle and turnout in order to make an estimate of the lateral force and the derailment coefficient on the turnout. In this paper, we established the analytical model of the vehicle and turnout and analysed running safety when the vehicle passes through turnout in order to improve running safety of the vehicle on turnout. Also, to verify the vehicle and turnout model, we analysed reaction force and running behavior between wheel and rail, and running safety of the vehicle by changing cradle part and the tongue rail when the vehicle passes through turnout.

A Numerical Study on Acoustic Tuning of Quarter-Wave Resonators in a Model Combustion Chamber (연소실에서 1/4파장 공명기의 주파수 동조에 대한 수치적 연구)

  • Acoustic tuning frequency of quarter-wave resonators is investigated numerically to suppress combustion instability in a liquid rocket engine. A quarter-wave resonator is adopted, which was designed from the cold acoustic test for optimal damping condition. First, in a model combustion chamber scaled down from a full-scale chamber, reactive flow filed is analyzed numerically and acoustic-pressure responses are examined. Next, thermodynamic properties in the resonators are predicted. Based on the data, frequency tuning method is studied. The optimum tuning length of each resonator is proposed and thereby, sufficient damping is produced.

Performance Comparison of Differential Distributed Cooperative Networks with Modulation Scheme and Relay Location (변조방식 및 중계기 위치를 고려한 차등 분산 협력 네트워크의 성능비교)

  • Cooperative networks provides the benefits of performance improvements and capacity increment when the source node transmits signal to the destination node using several relay nodes. In this paper, we consider the cooperative network where the transmission scheme between the source node and relay node use conventional binary signaling, whereas the transmission scheme between thee relay node and destination node adopt the differential space time coding signaling. We analyze the performance of the system depending on the modulation scheme, i.e., coherent and differential modulation, at the source-relay links. The performance depending on the relay location is also compared by considering modulation scheme and the number of relay node.

Equivalent Circuit Design of 2.4 GHz Band LTCC Bandpass Filters Using Multilayer Inter-Digital Resonators (적층 Inter-Digital 공진기를 이용한 2.4 GHz 대역 LTCC 대역통과 여파기의 등가회로 설계)

  • LTCC filters have been widely used to wireless terminals. They generally adopt the multilayer structure. Some of multilayer LTCC filters are made of symmetrical parallel-coupled lines and anti-symmetrical parallel-coupled lines to reduce the length of resonators. The equivalent circuit of parallel-coupled lines was analyzed and applied to bandpass filters using multilayer parallel-coupled line resonators. The three-pole bandpass filter with the center frequency of 2.45 GHz is designed by using the proposed equivalent circuit and the measured results have good agreement with the design results.

  • 본 논문에서는 3상 유도전동기의 속도를 제어하는데 기존 제어기의 문제점을 해결하고 최적화하기 위해서 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 하이브리드 퍼지 -PID(HFPID) 제어기를 고안하고, 이에 대한 파라미터 설정 방법을 제안한다. 유도전동기의 제어는 지연시간이 길고, 비선형성이 강하며, 부하변동이 잦은 프로세스이기 때문에, 기존의 제어방식으로는 만족할만한 결과를 얻을 수 없다. 제안한 하이브리드 퍼지-PID 제어기는 PID 제어기의 장점인 과도기의 우수성과 퍼지 제어기의 장점인 정상기의 우수성을 퍼지 변수로 결합시켜 설계한다. 이 제어기에 유전자 알고리즘을 적용하여 최적의 퍼지 및 PID 파라미터를 설정하다. 그리고 이 제어기를 3상 유도전동기의 속도 제어에 응용한다. 또한 속도오차에 대한 룩업 표를 만들어 온라인 실시간 제어를 가능하게 한다. 이상의 과정을 3상 유도전동기에서 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 비교해 볼 때, 하이브리드 퍼지-PID 제어기는 기존의 제어기 보다 전동기의 속도 및 토크성분 전류 둥의 특성에서 우수한 성능을 보였다.

Changes in Behavior of Black-Billed Magpie. Pica pica sericea between Breeding and Non-Breeding Season (번식기와 비번식기 까치의 행동 변화)

  • 본 연구는 번식기와 비번식기에 있어서 까치의 행동변화를 파악하기 위해 강원도 춘천시 동면 감정리에 위치한 강원도 산림개발연구원 시험림 및 부근지역에서 2000년 3월부터 2001년 2월까지의 기간동안 실시되었다. 조사지 내 전체 면척은 5.6$\textrm{km}^2$였으며, 전체 지역에서 까치의 둥지는 모두 49개가 발견되었다. 이중 2000년 봄철의 번식기동안에는 24개의 둥지에서 까치가 번식을 한 것으로 나타났다. 까치의 번식밀도는 4.3쌍/$\textrm{km}^2$였으며, 둥지의 평균거리는 평균 357.5m 인 것으로 나타났다. 까치에 부착한 전파발신기에서 발신되는 전파를 추적하여 번식기와 비번식기에 둥지로부터 이동한 거리는 큰 차이를 보였다.(t-test, t= 2.98, P<0.01). 번식기에는 평균 133.5m의 거리를 둥지로부터 이동하였으며, 최대 184m 이동한 것으로 나타났다. 그 결과 세력권의 크기는 약 5.6ha인 것으로 추정되었다. 또한 비번식이에 있어서는 둥지로부터의 이동거리 평균 384.2m 였으며, 최대 457m 까지 이동하였다. 6월에서 8월 까지는 보통 2~3개체 정도가 무리를 형성하였고, 12월에 가장 많은 12개체 정도가 하나의 무리를 이루었다. 번식기에 암컷과 수컷을 행동은 매우 다른 것으로 나타났으나(t=2.89, P<0.05)비번식기에는 큰 차이가 없었다(t=1.03, P>0.05).

Position Tracking Control of Flexible Piezo-beam Considering Actuator Hysteresis (작동기 히스테리시스를 고려한 유연 피에조빔의 위치추적제어)

  • This paper presents a position tracking control of a flexible beam using the piezoelectric actuator. This is achieved by implementing both feedforward hysteretic compensator of the actuator and PID feedback controller. The Preisach model is adopted to develop the feedforward hysteretic compensator. In the design of the compensator, estimated displacement of the piezoceramic actuator is used based on the limiting triangle database that results from collecting data of the main reversal curve and the first order ascending curves. Experimental implementation is conducted for position tracking control and performance comparison is made between a PID feedback controller without considering the effect of hysteresis, and a PID feedback controller integrated with the feedforward hysteretic compensator.
