While the international construction industry for Korean companies have grown in market size exponentially in the recent years, the profit rate of small and medium sized construction companies (SMCCs) are incomparably lower than those of large construction companies. Furthermore, small and medium size companies, especially subcontractor, lacks the judgement of project involvement appropriateness, which leads to an unpredictable profit rate. Therefore, this research aims to create a profit rate prediction model for the international construction project focusing on SMCCs. First, the factors that influence the profit rate and the area of profit zone are defined by using a total of 8,637 projects since the year 1965. Seconds, an extensive literature review is conducted to derive 10 influencing factors. Multiple regression analysis and corresponding judgement technique are used to derive the weight of each factor. Third, cased based reasoning (CBR) methodology is applied to develop the model for profit rate analysis in the project participation review stage. Using 120 validation data set, the developed model showed 11% (14 data sets) of error rate for type 1 and type 2 error. In utilizing the result, project decision makers are able to make decision based on authentic results instead of intuitive based decisions. The model additionally give guidance to the Korean subcontractors when advancing into the international construction based on the model result that shows the profit distribution and checks in advance for the quality of the project to secure a sound profit in each project.

In the recent years, Korean construction companies have been awarded 680 billion USD in the oversea projects which lead to a successful quantitative growth. However, due to the lack of capability in the core technology and project management compared to the leading companies, in addition to low-price bidding, massive deficit projects have caused problems to the companies. In order to overcome the limitations of the lack of capabilities, the term constructability has been researched recently by developed countries to apply in the practical use. The concept of constructability must be applied for Korean companies to compete in the EPC construction projects. The term constructability is defined as the factor that affect the overall construction process of a project which is defined by the ease of construction and to secure the project quality. Therefore, this study aims to develop a constructability assessment model using the structural equation to assess the factors that affect the constructability in the design and construction stage. The purpose of using the structural equation is to analyze the direct and indirect correlation between each factor that affects the international construction projects. Total of 8 latent variables and 34 measured variables are derived through literature review, corporate reports, experts' interview and surveys. The result of the model suggests the constructability factors that are to be managed the most efficiently to reduce cost, time and improve the quality as well as a countermeasure strategy to successfully execute the target international construction projects.

XML 기반 e-비즈니스 토탈 솔루션 업체인 씨오텍은 4년이란 짧은 시간에 'XML 전문기업'으로 자리를 공고히 했다. 이렇게 놀라운 성장을 거둘 수 있었던 것은 XML 전문기업으로서 '고객의 니즈'에 맞는 제품군을 공급한데서 비롯된다고 할 수 있다. 특히 기능 중심의 단순 패키지 제품이 아닌 XML에 관련된 모든 솔루션을 보유, 문서입력기관인 '에디터'에서부터 기업간(B2B) 전자상거래 솔루션까지 통합제품군을 갖추고 있다. 최근에는 전자정부(G4C), 국세청, 관세청 등 주요 프로젝트를 잇따라 성공적으로 수행하여 주목받고 있는 '씨오텍'을 찾아가 보았다.

에너지절약전문기업(ESCO ; Energy Service Company)은 프로젝트 초기에 제3자의 에너지사용시설에 먼저 투자를 한 후 이 투자시설에서 발생하는 에너지절감액으로 투자비와 이윤을 회수하는 기업이다. ESCO로 지정받은 에너지 전문업체는 특정건물이나 시설에서 에너지 절약시설을 도입할 때 비용 전액을 일단 ESCO 업체가 투자하고, 그 후 여기서 얻어지는 에너지절감 예산에서 투자비를 일정기간 분할 상환받는다. 우리나라는 지난 1993년 ESCO 사업 지원 제도를 도입하여 지난 1998년부터 정부의 활성화 정책과 국내 유가상승 등에 힘입어 매년 1,000억원 이상의 투자실적을 보이고 있다. 본지는 ESCO사업에 대해 자세히 알아본다.

Goldratt의 제약이론에서 버퍼 관리는 지속적인 경영개선(POOGI: Process of Ongoing Improvement) 도구인 집중개선의 5단계 (Focusing 5 steps)와 함께 기업 경영에서 일상적으로 피할 수 없는 다양한 경영 의사결정에 중대한 역할을 담당한다. 특히 TOC DBR에서 시작된 버퍼 관리는 제조업 현장 관리를 중심으로 공급망 관리에 이르기까지, 또 Critical Chain의 프로젝트 관리에 이르기까지 그 적용이 확대되고 있다. 역동적인 시장 환경에서 기업의 내부 역시 전에 없이 민첩한 대응 행동이 요구되는 바, 최소한의 투자로 최대의 throughput을 창출하면서 변동으로부터 즉시 만회하는 시스템을 가능하게 하는 버퍼와 버퍼 관리를 통해 기업이 얻을 수 있는 폭 넓은 이점을 조망해 본다.

The international standards, ISO 15489 and Family Code, recommend using functional classification method both in public and private organizations. In this study made a comparative analysis of the details of classification systems through case studies on records classification systems of a total of seven comprehensive construction companies in Korea including three large corporations and four small and medium-size businesses. Findings of this study suggester the direction of developing construction records classification system and its methodology. By summarizing classification standards derived from these case studies, key construction records classification standards were presented.

현재의 기업간 비즈니스의 대상은 정차 대규모화되며, 범위도 지역적으로 넓은 지역에 분산되고 있다. 이러한 지리적 한계를 극복하기 위하여 현재 네트워크의 표준 사양이 되고 있는 인터넷/웹의 사용이 적극적으로 검토되고 있다. 그리고, 분산환경하에서의 응용 소프트웨어의 통합을 위하여 미들웨어로서 CORBA의 적용이 검토되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 환경이 서로 상이하며 분산된 환경하에서의 정보관리 및 공유시스템에 대하여 CALS의 CITIS 개념을 사용하여 구현한다. 이 시스템은 다사용자간의 정보관리를 위한 DM(Document management) 엔진과 기업간 업무 프로세스의 진행에 따라 정보의 흐름과 사용자간의 업계 연계를 지원하며 정보의 유연한 전달을 지원하는 워크플로우 관리기(Workflow Management System), 사용자간의 정보 사용에 관한 이력을 관리하는 CM(Configuration Management) 관리기 및 분산환경하에서 다기업간에 수행되는 프로젝트를 관리하는 글로벌 프로젝트 관리기(Global Project Management)로 구성된다.

최근 지식경영(Knowledge Management)은 기업의 경쟁력 향상 및 성공적인 프로젝트 수행을 위한 중요한 전략적 요소로서 인식되고 있다. 건설업계 또한 점차적으로 지식경영을 효과적인 문제해결과 지속적인 경쟁우위 확보를 위한 핵심 시스템으로서 도입하고 있으며, 지식관리 전문가 및 건설 전문가들에 의한 지식기반의 프로젝트 관리는 더 이상 선택의 문제가 아닌 기업의 생존의 문제와도 직결되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 2002년 지식경영이 도입된 이래로 현재 한미파슨스에서 추진하고 있는 <지식경영 고도화 사업>의 주요 이슈들에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

지식 서비스 산업 중에서 경영 컨설팅 산업은 타 산업으로의 파급효과를 통해 얻을 수 있는 부가가치가 막대하므로 우리나라의 성장을 위해서는 필수적인 산업이다. 그러나 국외에 비해 국내의 컨설팅 관련 연구는 많이 부족한 것이 현실이다. 본 연구는 성공적인 컨설팅을 결정짓는 요인들로 컨설팅 관련자들의 특성을 고려하였다. 컨설턴트의 특성, 의뢰기업 측 컨설팅 프로젝트 팀장의 특성을 성공적인 컨설팅 결정 요인으로 하여 실증분석을 하였다. 분석을 위하여 한국경영기술컨설턴트 협회에 소속하여 활동하는 경영 컨설턴트 172명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 이를 바탕으로 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 분석 결과 컨설턴트의 역량은 물론 의뢰기업 측 팀장의 역량도 컨설팅 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
