Ideal project manager is a critical factor for successful IS development. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the knowledge and skills requirement of IS project managers and to suggest ideas of a career path development for powerful IS project managers. From a previous research work, this paper was conducted to classify 6 domains-strategic management, business function, innovation, general management, personnel management, and technical expert- as knowledge and skills of IS project managers, and to generate IS project manager's career path which is developed through engineer, analyst and designer, planner, and project leader. The results provide a good framework to train and develop knowledge and skills of IS project mangers.

전자정부 표준프레임워크는 공공사업 프로젝트에서 응용 SW 표준화, 품질 및 재사용성 향상 등의 목적 하에 개발된 것으로 일반 기업에서도 도입하여 시스템 개발에 활용하고 있다. 이는 전자정부 표준프레임워크가 정부기관은 물론 일반기업에서도 효율성 향상 측면에서 중요하다. 본 연구는 전자정부 표준프레임워크를 일반기업 프로젝트에 도입할 때의 기대효과 및 문제점들을 정리하고 도입방법과 단계를 살펴보고 전자정부 표준프레임워크가 일반기업에서도 많이 활용될 수 있는 방안에 대해 연구 하였다.

As prices of energy resources such as oil and gas started to rise steadily in 2000, energy security has been one of the most important topics in the world. To secure more energy, most of countries which are highly dependent on imported energy resources try to occupy oversea oil or gas reserves, thereby intensifying competition for energy resources around world. Under this circumstance, we focus on independent E&P companies since they are relatively small size companies which are suitable for M&A. We analyze investment option values for these E&P companies using a real option model for depletable resources. Based on analytical model, empirical study is provided to examine rationality of investment for energy companies. The result shows sufficient profitability for independent E&P companies in both oil and gas projects in the North America during 2004 to 2008. In Particular, oil projects were more feasible than gas project due to lower price of gas and high volatility of gas price at that time.

Muan Enterprise City is a mega-project that has an investment worth up to $3 billion only in the construction of infrastructure. The project's success will largely depend on the success of its construction management. This study sets out to establish a construction management plan for Muan Enterprise City by defining the core objectives and organizational structure and its supporting system. Project outline and core objectives were analyzed, and necessity of construction management and processes evaluated. Based on this analysis, implementation strategy for the achievement of project goals was defined and developed, and organizational structure and its support system to execute established. This study strives to support the project's construction management being carried out under proper planning and possibly set an example for construct ion management of mega-structures in the future.
