A Study on the Establishment of a Collaboration Relationship between Prime and Subcontractors in Korean Construction Industry - Focused on the Gangwon Area - (건설업 원.하청 기업간 협력관계 구축에 관한 연구 -강원지역을 중심으로-)

  • Recently, a size of the domestic construction industry Has been reduced rapidly, and its economic slump Has been continued with the government real estate stabilization and tax policies. Moreover, as the reconstruction of apartments that has been added high value to the construction companies has been on the stake of high risk with delays of reconstruction start and finance restriction policies, an uncertainty of the construction markets and the competitions between the construction companies has been increased. At this point, the establishment of a collaboration relationship between construction companies has been recognized as one of the methodologies to respond actively on these uncertainties and fierce competitions. A collaboration relationship between construction companies is based on the balanced cooperation relationship for surviving together, and should be maintained on the complement and specialized collaboration between big, middle and small contractors. This paper propose a model of practical collaboration relationship to cooperate together between prime and subcontractors in Korean construction companies based on the analysis of questionnaires to the collaboration status between general and subcontractors in the Gangwon area.

  • 본 연구는 국제 합작투자사업 참여 기업들을 대상으로 국제합작투자 사업에서의 합작사업 파트너 기업 간 통제가 합작투자사업참여 파트너간 지식공유 및 협력과 합작사업성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 살펴보고자 하는 실증연구이다. 본 연구에서는 국제합작사업 참여기업간 통제를 과정통제와 산출통제로 구분하여 통제유형별로 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 구조방정식을 이용하여 합작투자사업 참여 파트너간 통제유형별로 지식공유와 협력 및 합작사업성과에 어떠한 유의한 영향을 미치는지 실증분석을 통하여 알아보고자 한다.

  • The study examined the effect of collaboration with external institution on new product sales, the mediating effects of technological innovation, and the moderating effect of marketing capability. The results showed that external collaboration with external institution has a significant impact on new product sales in the R&D field of SMEs, and technological innovation plays a mediating role in the relationship between collaboration with external institution and new product sales. Also, the effect of marketing capability in the relationship between technological innovation and new product sales was also significant. Finally, the mediating effect of technological innovation between collaboration with external institution and new product sales was moderated by marketing capability.

  • These days, the importance of network structuring of partnered growth with 2nd and 3rd vendor is increasing among the issues of partnered growth. I show the status of 2nd and 3rd vendor based on the survey of 2nd and 3rd vendor and the policy review related with partnered growth of big companies and reviews the best practices and policies of network structuring of partnered growth such as USA, German, and so on. In this paper, I suggest the roles of government and parent company including big company based on the status of 2nd and 3rd vendor and the review of the best practices and policies of advanced foreign countries.

The Effect of Strategic Fit and Cooperative Relationships on the Small Suppliers' Performance (전략적 적합성 및 협력관계가 협력기업의 성과에 미치는 영향: 삼성전자 협력사를 대상으로)

  • This paper analyzes the role of strategic fit, cooperation, and performance in small-sized subpart suppliers' interactions with large businesses. For this purpose, this paper analyzes survey data from 90 first-tier suppliers of Samsung Electronics and evaluates how strategic fit and cooperative relationships affect their performance. Empirical analysis suggests that strategic fit positively affects small companies' business and innovation performance. This finding aligns with theories arguing for strategies that accommodate specific business environments. In addition, strategic fit is crucial for innovativeness of SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). With regard to forming relationships with large companies, findings also show that high quality technological and personnel cooperation boosts subpart suppliers' productivity and efficiency as notably reflected in SMEs' business performance. Moreover, such cooperation between small and large companies reinforces the benefits associated with strategic fit and innovation. This means that if the business environment of small-sized subpart suppliers is uncertain, harnessing differentiated strategies and pursuing collaborations with prime companies will produce innovative outcomes (e.g., increased patent publications). On the other hand, when degree of uncertainty is small, pursuing cost leadership strategies and collaborating with prime companies in areas, such as technology and personnel, will help small-sized subpart suppliers produce innovative outcomes. Based on these findings, this paper argues that choosing the right competitive strategy for a specific business context is intrinsically tied to (1) augmenting technological and human collaborations with prime companies, (2) improving the quality of these interactions, and (3) generating competitiveness among small subpart suppliers. Both competition and cooperation are necessary for strengthening the competitiveness of small companies.

  • The purpose of study is to promote the development of contents industry by analysing the causal relationship between R&D collaboration and firms' performance. In study, we use the number of intellectual property and total sales as proxy variables of performance. we use the degrees of collaboration experience, firms' interaction and degree of collaboration as proxy variables of independent variables. The results of study are as follows. First, collaboration experience and firms' interaction are positively influence on technological performance. Second, collaboration experience is positively correlated to economic performance. Finally, firms' R&D collaboration revealed higher performance than R&D collaboration of firm and R&D institution This study emphases on the importances of R&D collaboration for developing new technology and improving economic performance.

  • 기후변화, 석유자원 고갈 우려 등으로 인하여 그린에너지기술 개발에 대한 중요성은 크게 증가하고 있다. 그 가운데, 글로벌화된 경쟁구도 확대와 급속한 기술개발 속도로 인하여 국가간 또는 기업간 기술 개발 경쟁은 더욱 심해지고 있다. 이러한 상황하에서 그린에너지기술 개발을 위한 국제협력의 중요성은 더욱 증가하고 있다. 이에 각 국은 제도적, 경제적 지원을 통한 그린에너지기술 개발 및 국제협력을 적극 지원하고 있다. 그러나 우리나라의 경우 에너지기술 관련 R&D 예산 중 국제공동연구 비중은 0.6%로 선진국에 비해 지원 규모가 부족한 실정이며, 그린에너지기술 국제협력을 위한 기초 정보 역시 부족한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 그린에너지기술 분야의 국외 선도 업체 및 기관을 대상으로 기술수준 및 협력의향을 조사하여 대외협력 맵을 구축하였다. 우선 '그린에너지 전략로드맵'상의 15대 기술 분류에서 상세 분석을 위한 주요 에너지기술을 선정하고 기술별 하위 전략품목별로 현황 조사를 실시하였다. 국내 전문가를 대상으로 1차, 2차 설문을 통하여 국제협력 추천 업체 및 기관, 기술수준을 조사하였으며, 조사된 국외 추천 선도 업체 및 기관을 대상으로 설문을 통하여 협력의향과 협력유형을 조사하였다. 조사된 자료를 통해 기술수준과 협력의향을 기준으로 4가지 유형으로 분류하여 대외협력 맵을 구성하고 구축된 대외협력 맵을 통해 국제협력 추진을 위한 시사점을 도출하였다.

Semiotics Approach to Win-win Cooperation of Large and Small Business (대·중소기업 상생협력의 기호학적 분석)

  • This study analyzed symbolically the win-win cooperation(or win-win growth) policies and laws of large and small business to Roland Barthes and Greimas's semiotics model, and suggested that the company win-win ecosystem(cooperation) and sanggeuk(competition) shoule from a mutual harmony and balance rather than being separated from eace other like yin(-) and yang(+) theory. The results of these studies, unlike the coexistence cooperation Promotion Law of large and small business is the original intent in the ecosystem of companies, there will also be acting as a regulatory rather to officials of large and small business. In this study, because it is limited to the analysis of large and small business win-win cooperation policies and laws, it must be supported in the future of the specific empirical research.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중소 창업기업 최고 경영자(CEO)의 전략적 지향성이 회사 성과에 미치는 영향을 조사하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 CEO의 3가지 다른 차원의 전략적 지향성(고객, 경쟁자, 기술지향)을 살펴보았다. 과거 전략지향성과 성과 간의 연구는 이들 간의 직접적인 관계를 분석하였다. 본 연구는 전략적 지향성이 어떠한 기업 활동에 영향을 미쳐 기업 성과로 이어지는지 중간 매개 변수에 대한 분석을 하고자 한다. 연구결과, CEO의 고객지향성 및 기술지향성은 신제품 개발 과정의 사전기획 역량과 기능 간 협력을 향상시키고, 종업원의 조직 몰입도를 향상시킨다. 반면, CEO의 경쟁자 지향성은 사전기획 역량과 기능 간 협력 향상에 기여하지 못할 뿐만 아니라, 오히려 종업원의 조직몰입에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.
