Great attention has been paid to absorptive capacity (AC) as a means of technological innovation. However, few developing countries have demonstrated real success in the development of their technologies and economies. Global issues such as climate change, contagious disease, etc. require more active cooperation between developing and developed countries. This paper makes the novel argument that the donor's transplanting capacity (TC) should be developed and coevolved in concert with the recipient country's AC. Review of the literature shows that AC depends on a prior knowledge base and an intensity of effort. In this article, we analysed the case of KIST and suggest that codification of development experience, localization of innovation capacity, and donor committment comprise the core elements of TC. Nonaka (1994) argued that interaction between tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge can synergize to increase the overall store of available knowledge. Development experience, which leans heavily toward tacit knowledge, should be transformed into explicit knowledge for more efficient technology diffusion. The technological environments of recipient countries vary from those of their donors, which is why innovation capacity should conform to local conditions in order to make transplantation smoother. Donor committment is also critical for successfully transmitting valuable experience.

국내 환경에 맞는 양계자동화시스템을 구축하기 위해 끊임없는 기술연구개발을 거듭해 성장한 (주)에그텍. 경제위기로 어려웠던 당시 중소기업청 기술혁신개발 지원사업에 참여해 산학연 공동으로 국내형 계란 자동선별기를 개발하면서 점차 고객의 신뢰를 쌓아왔다. 혁신적인 국내 기술력을 인정받아 양계산업발전에 공헌한 당사는 지난 2월 본회 정기총회에서 감사패를 수상하는 영예를 안기도 했다. 앞으로 국내를 비롯해 세계시장에도 진출한 포부를 전하는 윤택진 사장을 만나 그간 활동사항과 앞으로 계획에 대해 들어보았다.

본 연구는 국내하이테크 기업의 기술혁신지향성과 시장지향성이 기업 성과에 미치는지 여부를 규명하고자 Moorman & Miner(1997), Kohli, Jaworski & Kumar (1993)가 개한 척도를 사용하여 탐색적인 연구를 실행하였다. 설문은 2006년 11월 한달 동안 서울 경기지역의 혁신관련 교육을 수행하는 교육 기관과 기술 기반의 제품 개발과 서비스를 수행하는 업체를 대상으로 시행하였다. 가설 검증을 위해 총 200부의 설문지를 배포하여 60부를 회수하여 수집된 자료는 SPSS v12.0을 이용하여 요인분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 기술혁신지향성은 성과에 영향을 미치나 시장지향성이 기업의 성과에 미치는 영향에 대해서는 확인할 수 없었다.

본 연구는 미 특허청(USPTO) 자료를 이용하여 기술활동이 가장 활발한 OECD국가를 중심으로 세부기술 부문별 기술활동의 유형을 분석하고자 하는 데에 목적을 두고 있다. 특히 OECD 국가들이 정보통신(IT) 기술에 있어 특정 기술분야로의 수렴화 경향을 보이는가 혹은 다양한 기술적인 분화현상을 보이는 가를 분석하는 것이 본 연구의 주요 관심사이다. 기존 연구들이 정보통신기술을 협의로 정의, 분석의 대상으로 삼아 왔으나, 본 고에서는 정보통신 분야를 보다 확대된 개념으로서 정의하고, 미국 특허청 자료(1985-1996)를 이용하여 정보통신 분야의 기술개발 활동의 특화현상을 분석하였다. 연구결과로서 정보통신(IT) 기술 분야에서는 기술적 수렴현상이 점차적으로 나타나고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 국가별 결과에 있어서는 서로 다른 유형이 관측되었는데 정보통신 산업에 있어서 유럽의 주요 국가들은 특허통계량이 감소하는 추세를 나타냈으며 기술추격(catch-up) 과정은 나타나지 않았음을 보여 주었다. 이와 반대로, 일본은 유럽의 주요 국가에 비하여 매우 특징적인 기술개발 유형을 나타내었다. 예를 들어, RTA지수는 일본이 정보처리기술, 컴퓨터시스템 및 단말기술, 집적회로 분야에 특화되어 있음을 나타냈다. 또한 캐나다와 한국도 특징적인 기술개발 경향을 나타내었는 바, 캐나다는 방송시스템 및 전송기술에서 기술적 강점을 지닌 것으로 분석되었으며 한국의 기술추격 분야는 방송시스템, 정보처리 및 반도체기술 분야인 것으로 나타났다.

When discussing a company's technology management, manufacturing companies' innovation strategy is vital because it is connected to each company's competitive advantage in various ways, such as technology acquisition, R&D, and product innovation. The research on manufacturing companies' innovation strategies has been studied in various ways, such as performance and resources for innovation; however, very little research has been done to synthesize existing research outcomes. In this study, we conduct a systematic literature review of 51 articles related to manufacturing companies' innovation strategies. By doing so, we synthesized the results of extant studies based on three perspectives: the research target, the research focus, and the types of innovation strategies. In addition, I derived the unique properties of the research on manufacturing companies' innovation strategies. The analysis indicated that Korea's research on manufacturing companies' innovation strategies had been unequally distributed. Based on this, we suggested research agendas for future research on manufacturing companies' innovation strategies.

본 논문에서는 해양 및 수산 분야의 투자용 기술력평가모형 개발을 위하여 민간 VC투자 활성화를 위한 평가기법 선행조사를 수행하며, 국내 관련 전문기관 등의 기술투자 관련 기술력평가 모형개발과 활용수준 등을 조사하고, 해외 관련 전문기관의 기술평가모형 현황에 대한 조사·분석을 수행하였다. 또한 투자용 기술력평가 모형의 용도와 방향 설정을 위하여 국내 기술투자 관련 전문가 그룹을 활용하여 기술공급자와 수요자 관점에서의 견해를 반영한 투자모형의 용도와 방향설정을 제시하였다. 결과적으로 기술투자 목적의 평가요인을 도출하고, 기술투자자 입장의 평가결과 유효성 검증을 통해 평가결과의 실무적 활용성을 제고시키고자 한다. 기술보증기금에서 개발한 기존의 투자용 기술력평가 모형이 많은 타 기관에 파급되어 운영되고 있지만, 활용수준이 미미한 점을 검토하여 VC의 투자의사결정 요소에 관한 연구결과를 기반으로 해양수산분야 투자용 기술력평가 신규모형을 설계하였다.
