People in the world can send and get useful information from anywhere via internet. Using the internet for educational purposes has been studied for several years. In this paper, we have been designed and implemented video database systems for English education. In the system we have studied ways to build and retrieve useful information from video database systems. By using our system we can easily find required video segment and can play it in real-time way by using streaming techniques.

The importance of renewable energy has increased continuously due to the energy insecurity and the necessity of reducing carbon dioxide which is causing global climate change. In such a situation, the Pohang Enhanced Geothermal System (EGS) power plant project which is launched in December 2010 shall be a new opportunity for the development of EGS related technologies in Korea. In this paper, the case studies of Fenton Hill project in the USA and Hijiori project in Japan are introduced in order to help a part of the domestic EGS demonstration project. As a result, it could be helpful to minimize the trial and error of the domestic EGS project by acquiring the achievements and limitations of existing EGS projects.

Wireless LAN is intrinsically weak in security of transmissions. WPKI (Wireless Public Key Infrastructure) is a well known Method to deal with the security issues in wireless LAN. The authentication required by the method becomes a source of unrellability of the hand-off performance. This paper suggests a solution to overcome the instability while using the WPKI technique, Prior to getting into the next region, a station is provided with the keys of the surrounding regions so that the possible delay problem can be avoided during the actual hand-off time. Thereby the hand-off instability can be solved in the WPKI framework.

Academic libraries are at a turning point. Historically academic libraries were the natural destination for students, faculty, and researchers seeking information. These users came to the library by default. Academic libraries served as the repository for published information as well as the intermediary for acquiring material from the outside world. In this study, suggested are directions of academic library websites construction and current techniques related library 2.0 that could be applied digital information system of academic libraries. And discussed the recent status, problems and future directions of scholarly information service through websites supporting lecture and research prefect activities for faculties in Korean university libraries.

The universities introduce and manage education program to improve the problem-solving ability directly associated with respective professional fields as breaking from lecture-concentrated management for the acquisition of knowledge. In this paper, we design and implement a system which standardizes forms of productions induced from capstone design and manages programs integrally according to the predefined schedules. The proposed system intends the successful management of capstone design which is most representative education program for improving practical business ability. Additionally, the system gives practical assistance for applying employment and entering higher educational institution through automatic producing portfolio which comprises total processes for capstone design.

본 논문은 일부지역 초등학생들의 심폐소생술 지식 및 태도가 자신감에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보고자시도 하였으며, 심정지 환자에게 효과적인 심폐소생술 수행과 자신감에 도움을 주고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 2009년 6월 25일부터 7월 15일까지 J도 소재 J시 K시 4개교에 재학하는 초등학생 381명에 대하여 실시하였다. 통계처리는 SPSS WIN 12.0 Version 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 통계적 유의성은 p<.05로 설정하였다. 심폐소생술 특성의 변수들과 지식, 태도, 자신감의 상관관계는 정보습득유무(r=.174, p<.01), 심폐소생술 경험유무(r=.143, p<.01), 심폐소생술 교육유무(r=.164, p<.01), 교육필요성(r=.184, p<.01), 지식(r=.342, p<.01), 태도(r=.736, p<.01)가 자신감에 상관관계를 보였다. 심폐소생술 지식 및 태도가 자신감에 미치는 영향은 태도($\beta$=.703, t=17.884, p<.01)가 자신감에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 초등학생들이 응급상황 시 효과적으로 대처 할 수 있도록 심폐소생술 교육 프로그램 마련과 효과적인 인력 배치와 제도적 장치가 마련되어야 할 것으로 여겨진다.

본 연구에서는 청소년의 일반적 비의도적 약물에 대한 인식과 태도를 확인하고자 하였다. 전라남도 22개 시군구 초중학교를 대상으로 무작위 추출 설문을 하였다. 약물남용예방 교육을 받은 경험 유무에 대한 결과는 438명 42.9%는 약물예방교육을 받은 경험이 있다고 하였으며, 582명 57.1%는 약물예방교육을 받은 경험이 없다고 응답하였다. 약물(술, 담배 포함)을 사용하여 기분이 좋아진다면 약간의 후유증은 무시해도 되는가에 대하여 86.2%가 그렇지 않다고 응답하였다. 술, 담배, 흡입제(본드, 가스) 등은 중독성이 없는지에 대하여 17.3%가 그렇다고 다소 높은 응답을 보였다. 담배는 피울수록 흡연량이 늘어나는가에 대한 질문은 사전 교육을 받은 그룹이 사전 교육을 받지 않은 그룹보다 '그렇다'고 높은 응답을 하였다. 만약 친구가 약물사용을 권유한다면 향후 어떻게 할 것인가에 대한 결과 88.9%가 정중히 거절할 것이라 응답하였다. 향후 약물 오남용 예방 교육이 있다면 참여하겠는가에 대한 결과 91.3% 가 '그렇다'고 응답하였다. 본 약물 오남용 예방교육은 효과적이였는가에 대한 결과 90.3%가 효과적이였다고 응답하였다. 따라서, 청소년의 특성을 이해하고, 올바른 건강 관련 행위 습득을 통해 성인기 건강의 기반을 형성할 수 있도록 꾸준히 노력해야 할 것이다.

In this thesis. we present the cyber lecture system based on XML that uses the communication network as the 100Mbps LAN. The system was designed to analysis the existing cyber lecture system and its details arid to examine web system architecture and XML 3-tier model The result of the study consists of he cyber lecture system based on XML developed on 100Mbps LAN to improve method of the cyber lecture system by using ma 3-tier model arid utilisation of web interface to offer handiness of the cyber lecture system.

Children seem to be more familiar with getting information from computer and internet than adults, and also it is true that information behavior in the internet has strong influences in the living of the children. When considering this fact, the public library which is the gateway to knowledge should provide a website for children services, allowing to do their life-long learning, read books and access information, without any restrains from time and space. The purpose of this study is to show the importance of public library website, especially for the children, and also to analyze trend of the country and present the solution to the problems. To achieve these goal, the analysis on the websites of the public libraries in Dagu and Gyengbuk area has been conducted. In detail, these were conducted about following criterions: existence of the website, structural system, search service, and contents.

웹 2.0을 적용한 블로그, 위젯, RSS 등의 여러 가지 기술들의 발전은 계속적으로 변화하는 교육에 필요한 다양한 툴을 제공해 주고 있다. 현재의 초등학교 교육은 단순히 지식을 전달하고 그것을 학습하는 과정뿐만 아니라 교수자와 학습자, 학습자와 학습자 사이의 상호작용을 통한 교수.학습과정이 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 앞으로의 교육은 교수자와 학습자 모두가 참여하는 형태로 발전하게 될 것임에 분명하다. 그러나 이러한 상호작용에만 국한될 경우 학습자들이 기본적으로 알아야 할 핵심지식에 대한 교육이 소홀해 질 수 있다. 따라서, 교수자와 학습자가 원활한 상호작용을 이루어 질 수 있는 새로운 형태의 학습 환경이 필요함과 동시에, 핵심지식의 전달이 원활하게 이루어질 수 있는 툴이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 웹 2.0의 여러 가지 기술들을 통해 교수자와 학습자가 원활한 상호작용을 이룰 수 있는 환경에 대한 분석을 통하여 핵심지식의 전달이 원활하게 이루어질 수 있는 교육용 위젯을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 교육용 위젯을 활용한다면 교수자와 학습자의 상호작용을 통한 교육에서 다루지 못하는 부분의 핵심지식 교육을 보충함으로써 학습자들의 핵심지식의 습득 및 학습효과를 증진시키는데 기여하게 될 것이다.
